If you like Greek food I can not stress enough how much you NEED to go here. Fine dining quality, with more of a casual experience and pricing. The food is genuinely incredible. They have the best service i've ever had anywhere. I love Acropolis! I had birthday dinner with a friend, and I chose Acropolis. The sun was shining bright and the service was great. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon! The food is always good, but today I had desert and OMG the Baklava was amazing, the flaky crust, butter, honey and nuts! Never thought I would eat Lemon Chicken Soup but it is good. read more

Stopped in for dinner with friends. We were seated quickly, but had to wait a while for a server to come by and take our drink order. Having been in the car most of the day and having a late lunch, we weren't overly hungry, so my wife and I decided to split an entree. As we placed our order the waitress seemed annoyed that we were sharing an entree, she offered a second side salad which we got. The food don't take long to come out, we ordered the Pastitsio, which was flavorful. The food overall was good, but we were a bit shocked though by the price of the extra side salad being $6, for literally a small plate of lettuce with 3 tomatoes and a few crumbles of feta. Seemed a bit steep. The waitress wasn't the most personable, or maybe she was just having a bad day, I don't know. The interior is decent, wide open though, so definitely can get a bit noisy when they're busy. My husband and I ate here last night - my 3rd time and his first. The spreads appetizer was great as was the Greek salad. The owner Ms Betty talked with us for quite a while - what a joy!! The chicken parmigiana was "ok" and the lemon chicken was great. We finished it off with key like pie that was great also. Lorrie, our server greeted us promptly and was very pleasant. The restaurant was clean and organized with a wonderful cake and dessert case at the front door. Had a Greek salad which was dressed perfectly had all the right ingredients olives, tomatoes, feta. The lentil soup is amazing never had lentils with potatoes in the soup just WOW I tried a special which I can't pronounce or spell but basically orzo pasta in a light red sauces with basil, shrimp and tomatoes The bread was also very fresh and gluten free highly recommend this place. We ordered a gyro with fries, a chicken kabob and greek salad plate, a lasagna, and rounded it off with a creme brulee. Everything was superb! We will mark this restaurant in the books for a definite return visit. Coming from Las Vegas, NV, we are pretty spoiled with the availability of some pretty great restaurants to enjoy. The Acropolis Grill was wonderful, from the moment we walked in to the parting goodbyes, our experience was top notch. The restaurant is large & has plenty of seating. Our waitress Lucy was so wonderful & patient with us. The Acropolis's menu is quite large so we had to take some time to go through it. Lucy brought out our drinks & bread while we decided. Our appetizer was the Saganaki! Spectacular! We are big fans of cheese & this, they set on fire!!!! It was beautiful to see & learned about "Opa!" We also enjoyed the Pan-Seared Grouper with lemon-caper sauce & a dinner salad. Again, so very good. By the end of dinner we were so full, we took an order of the Baklava to go. We've eaten here numerous times and have enjoyed it so much. However, tonight we ordered some of our usual dishes and they were not very good. The bread we were served was dried out. The Mousaka was not prepared as it usually is. I think they forgot to put in the Eggplan. The lemon pasta meal was filled with very yellow (old) asparagus and overcooked pasta which was drowned in pesto. not the usual very delectable dish! Darla was an outstanding waitress! She was attentive and offered suggestions for entrees. We were celebrating four birthdays. We started with zucchini chips, calamari, and the savory pies...all were wonderful. MIL had the two crab cakes that were a special appetizer and a garden salad. SIL had the pecan crusted trout special with grits that she said were excellent and a Southern Pecan salad. I had the filet topped with crab meat and Bernaise sauce. It was perfectly cooked at medium rare. The mashed potatoes were definitely homemade and yummy. My husband had the mixed grill and he said it was delicious (lamb, scallops, and a small filet of beef with mashed potatoes and a few asparagus spears). The restaurant was pleasantly decorated with good lighting. Lots of younger waitstaff and a few well-experienced longtime employees. Highly recommend and also recommend making reservations. We had the Vegetable Lemon Pasta and Eggplant Stack dinners which came with soup or salad. The Lentil Soup and Lemon Chicken Soup were delicious.
