    Chicken Tikka Masala

When I tell you that this surpassed all my expectations...! Wow! I dont know what I was expecting, but I was NOT prepared for that! Lol I practically inhaled that entire meal. They have earned a loyal customer.

Naans Indian Bar and Grill is a no frills option for solid Indian food in Brandon. The food itself is delicious! Extremely flavorful. Highly recommend the butter chicken, garlic naan, and Apollo fish. The portion sizes are generous, so we always end up bringing some home. It has never been packed when we've been, but service can be a bit slow so do be prepared to spend some time there.

In Brandon for appointment and I love Indian food so decided to try this place. It has amazing food. Very fresh and delicious. I would recommend highly everything that I ordered. Veggie samosas, onion pakora, followed by a meal of Chicken Tikka Masala and garlic naan bread. From signage this appears to be a new Indian restaurant . Not yet super busy but worth a trip to try out your favorites. The building from the outside looks like a stand alone converted fast food place. Inside has plenty of seating and is clean and orderly. You could easily seat a large group here.

I was excited to try this new Indian restaurant because I love Indian food and it was my boyfriend's first time trying Indian food. The restaurant is brand new so the wait time was a little long but the staff was very polite and took our order quickly. The food came out fresh and hot. The flavors were so delicious. My boyfriend, who is from the Caribbean loved the curry goat, he could not stop eating it. It came with white rice. I loved the rice and fish dish. I forgot the exact name but the flavor was great and it was nice and spicy. The tandoori chicken was also seasoned well and very good. I ordered a mango lassi for dessert which I loved. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back. If you don't want to wait for the food, I noticed many people ordered ahead and just picked up their order in the restaurant for carry out.

I was really excited that they opened up an Indian restaurant near my work area. However, I have to be brutally honest that the flavors and the food are not up to par on Indian cuisine. I ordered a tandoori chicken and a tadka daal with a naan. The chicken was hard and dry like they cooked it yesterday or something. I was so looking forward to that melt in your mouth crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside tandoori chicken experience, but this was very disappointing. The flavors were also very mild. A lot of Indian restaurants took away lunch specials, and lunch buffets for the excuse of Covid but at this point Covid is not what it used to be and we're not taking precautions on that level anymore. So what is the point of not having any lunch specials whatsoever? They don't have a buffet, but they don't even have lunch specials so now we have to pay full price for basic portions of subpar Indian food. The service was also not super great. I probably won't be back here.

What is this hard black stuff that all in my butter chicken? Never eating here again.

I ordered the butter chicken and at the bottom of the container was a bunch of nasty hard black bones. So disappointed as the sauce tasted really good. I just can't believe how sloppy this is. The inside of the store is dirty too. I should have known better than to order from here.

Half order of biryani spread in the to go box..!!

We used to like this place a lot. Its a decent Indian food we can find in Tampa. But the portions are getting smaller and smaller. Its very inconsistent. One day we will get full order and the next we get only half the portion. Check out pictures. Even though we like the food taste, its sad that this is happening more often now and the portions are very inconsistent.

    Samosa - very good

Best to order takeout. Avoid dining in due to very long wait. Food overall is very good but the service (dining room wait staff and also food prep is incredibly slow) and also they keep the dining room temperature uncomfortably warm (like 79-80 degrees warm!). We came in about 12pm Saturday, we were the first and only table there. ORDERING They will not give you a menu, you have to use the QR code picture at corner of table to bring up the menu online. FOOD: Somosa - very good, 2 large pieces, comes with 2 different chutney sauces on the side Garlic naan - very good, 4 pieces, they use lot of garlic Paneer tikka masala - less flavorful compared to other places Butter chicken - very good, better flavor and more tomato spice taste compared to the tikka masala. Comes with 1 bowl of rice for both the butter chicken and tikka masala. WAIT and SERVICE Service is not attentive at all. 2 people in front dining room but they still super slow and inefficient with everything, even for 1 table, it got even worse after more people walked in after us. Once you walk it, they will acknowledge you and let you know to sit anywhere, then take your drink order. Then no one comes by for like 10-15 minutes. Only after we asked for menu did they mention to use the QR code to bring up menu on our phone. Despite us being the first and only table in the restaurant when we ordered, the food took (I'm estimating) at least 20min for the somosas, took about 30min for the entrees, (naan, butter chicken, tikka massala) to come out. No one came by to check on us the entire meal. When you're ready to leave, you have to go get their attention for to-go boxes then you box the food yourself, also instead of waiting for the check which won't come, it's better just walk up to the counter to pay. I felt bad for all the other people (probably 5 or 6 tables) by the time we left, they probably have no idea how long a wait they are in for. If I got takeout they would be a 4 star but since we dined in, minus 1 star for the slow service, uncomfortable dining room.

I ordered the veggie samosas and the Chicken 65 biriyani. I was disappointed not to get any chutney for the samosas, but I will say that the samosas were adequately spiced that I didn't need to dip mine into my favorite mint cilantro chutney. The chicken 65 biriyani was delicious and an interesting alternative to standard chicken biriyani. The food tasted fresh and well-seasoned, and the taste of fresh curry leaves shone through. I would happily order from here again. Or, better yet, try it out in person. I read on yelp that this place has a breakfast (and lunch and dinner) buffet. I really hope to have a reason to be in the area for brunch, because I really want to try it!

Our first visit, straight from the airport, we opted for breakfast classics: mysore masala dosa, idly vada combo and Chana poori. My husband and I shared everything and really enjoyed it. The food was fresh, authentic and some of the best tasting SI food we have had in a long time. We finished the meal office by splitting a filter coffee and it was the perfect closing to the meal. On our second visit I wanted more of their delicious sambar so I opted for the sambar vada and my husband orders the chicken curry with paratha. Again, the food was fresh, authentic and tasty. The chicken tasted like a homemade plate and the sambar and vada were piping hot, perfect for a chilly day. My husband even ordered a chicken Kati roll and chicken 65 biryani to take home. Unfortunately their dum biryani is only available a few days a week, so that wasn't an option. He told me that the biryani was good but he would have preferred a dum style and that the chicken in the paratha wrap was tender and flavorful. This place is not fancy. Everything is served in paper plates and you order on a kiosk. This was totally fine with us. The only thing we wished was that the parathas were freshly made, and they appeared to be frozen/manufactured. This does however make sense when you consider the very reasonable cost of their food. They also offer both lunch and breakfast buffets with veg and meat options for under $20. We missed these but would love to come back and try. The staff and service were very warm and caring. I hope more people expand their palates and embrace this place as it offers great service and food at an accessible and affordable price and location.

It started as a small counter in the back of the store serving limited weekend specials. Now, there's a restaurant with a full menu and lots of booth seating. The menu has just about everything including an amazing variety of dosa. It's just not something that you see every day in this area. The ordering process is simple. Just place your order at the restaurant counter in the back of the store. No one was there initially as they were receiving deliveries and putting together take-out orders. There's a note to ring the bell since they're all multi-tasking. It didn't take long to place my order. The service was great! The young lady at the counter was very thorough & helpful. She asked if I wanted it crispy and made sure I was good on the potato masala filling. It appears to be customizable if not. A bottle of tap water is served to you when dining in so there's no need to purchase bottled water. The wait wasn't too long. I'd say about 15 to 20 minutes for a freshly made Cheese Masala Dosa. I was a little overwhelmed with the size of it. I thought it would be smaller. It's also served with 2 different chutneys and a side of sambar (South Indian Stew). It was my first experience with this type of street food, and it won't be my last. It was so deliciously cheesy, buttery, and flavorful. The filling inside was plentiful. So much so, that I could only eat a quarter of it for lunch. The rest went home with me. It reheated up beautifully for dinner. My husband enjoyed it with me. The sambar was also very tasty. I suppose you could dip the dosa into it as well, but we just had it as is. I definitely want to go back to try a plain or podi dosa just for comparison. Although, the rich cheese and potato masala really elevates it. Fantastic! I really wanted to give it a 5 star review. The value & quality of the food as well as the service all make it 5 stars. It's the ambiance of dining in a working grocery store that kind of brings it down. You're going to see carts being pushed past you to get to other parts of store. The air conditioning suffers as well while staff are receiving regular deliveries throughout the day. It was a little warm, but tolerable. I visited during the standard lunch hours. Perhaps an evening dine-in experience is calmer. It's nothing that will keep me away. I will definitely return again whenever I'm in this area.
