Tandoor is by far my FAVORITE Indian restaurant in the Brandon/Tampa! I wish I could've rated 10 stars because every time I visit. The staff is always friendly/welcoming! The food menu has been updated and user friendly. New options and wide variety of food choices. I would list what I enjoy from Tandoor. But everything I've tried here is AMAZING. I enjoy the seasoning and how well prepared the food is. The ambiance is plain but clean. I recommend Tandoor for any situation, any day. Enjoy!

I figured Indian cuisine would give heat and flavor. So I tried this space, wabting onion ring, I settled for onion bhaji thinking hushpuppy ball of onion. But to my suprises, i had onion straws that were amazing lil spicy. Then was the veggie biriyani and veggi korma that hit the spot. But let me not forget the amazing service by Dev, very professional, white glove service explained the menu, w vegerarian suggesstions & the recent change in preparation of the onion bhaji. All around a 5 star reastaurant. Nexe time in Tampa this is where I come bck tk

So glad we found this place for lunch near work today! It's a Small Indian restaurant that has apparently been open for 17 years! Service was fast and friendly and everyone loved their dish! So many vegetarian options! Will definitely be back to try more!

I am a frequent Uber Eats customer. This place is top notch. The food is always fresh and I've never had them get my order wrong. Here are the dishes I've had and how I'd rate them: Vegetable korma: 10/10. Perfection. I get vegetable korma at every Indian restaurant I eat at/have ordered from. Tandoor's is my favorite and you can rely on tht mild actually being mild. Entrees- Aloo Gobhi Masala: 9/10 very good Channa Sag: 9/10 Interestingly tastes like a broccoli and cheese soup. Thick and creamy. Dal Tadka: 7/10 not a ton of flavor. It's okay. Mix Vegetable Curry: 5/10 very bland. Very vegetables in a boring sauce. Appetizers- Samosa: 10/10 great samosas. There are 3 with each other and they area good size with great flavor and a great crust. Gobhi Manchurian: 9/10 very good Garlic naan: 10/10 perfect Rice: 10/10 some Indian restaurants have dry rice but never Tandoor. Their rice is always perfect.

The food here is amazing I was so pleased I will definitely be coming back here as my go to local Indian food spot! And service was good too.

Truly a hidden gem, the food here is outstanding! Our food took longer than expected so they brought some chips and dips on the house ( tho I wasn't even worried about the wait time because I know everything is made fresh ) Small mom and pop shop vibes but huge authentic restaurant flavors. If you're in the area, you should definitely treat yourself

A medium sized restaurant in a shopping strip, the employees were all friendly! And answered any questions we had! The food which I had the chicken Balthi and my mom the chicken tikka masala both were great! And we had butter naan which was soft but crispy it was amazing! We also ordered the chicken tikka naan roll which was also very yummy I just wish they had the option to where they don't fry it just have it like a chicken Kathi roll the prices were good and the food even better definitely will be back! Btw they had many many options!

Roaming around town this afternoon, my partner and I came upon Tandoor Indian Cuisine. He had heard many great things, and that's where we landed. Not as vegan as he would like, it still didn't disappoint. Our server was wonderful and assisted him with his Vegan options. I had the Madras Shrimp Curry and he wound up ordering the Dal Sag. Our meals were spectacular! I wished I remember the vegan style Naan type fried bread we ordered, because it ROCKED! I tasted it with his Dal Sag and it was amazing. We both ordered our meals with a medium heat and not delivered, my Madras sauce with shrimp was perfect, the shrimp were cooked perfectly and over the bed over rice sent it over the edge. He wound up not eating the rice and getting sautéed veggies as the rice was not vegan, but the curry leaves in the sauce stole the show in my dish! I had never had curry leaves whole, but it was amazing. I made sure to bring home leftover and sauté more shrimp tomorrow. I know the sauce will only get better. Quaint little restaurant hidden away in a shopping plaza. We will be back. There were so many things on their extensive menu I want to try. So glad we found this little gem of a restaurant!

I was super excited to give this place a try since I haven't had good Indian food in a while. When we walked into the restaurant, you know you found the perfect Indian spot when you could smell the distinct Indian spice aroma throughout the place. I already convinced myself that nothing could go wrong with the food here. Sadly I spoke too early and should have let the food speak for themselves. To start off, we got naan and samosa. The samosa was perfect. Definitely on par with some of the best Indian restaurants that I've gone to so far. The naan was also buttery and full of flavor. Unfortunately the big star of the night was the lamb korma, which was a huge letdown. It was flavorless and barely spiced up. Probably the most bland korma that I've had ever. I'm not sure if they did it intentionally because I told the waitress that I cannot tolerate spicy food, but the food was just way too under spiced for anyone's liking. Great start of a meal, but very disappointing ending. Parking is easy since the restaurant is located in a parking lot with plenty of spaces. I would honestly probably give this place another try since I feel like the lamb korma I got was probably not an accurate representation of their food in general. Will definitely emphasize for mild spice the next time that I am here.

Delicious! Ordered through doordash and everything was fresh and flavorful. We got the garlic naan, samosas, lamb tikka masala, beef roast, and beef biriyani. I was disappointed in my beef roast though, not because of the flavor but i did order a mild so i could share with my daughter but thankfully i tried it first cause it was definitely hot level. To the point that i could only enjoy half before my mouth was in pain. Other than that i did enjoy the other foods and will hopefully be ordering again

I came to Tandoor Indian Cuisine with really high expectations and while I did like my experience there were definitely good and not so good things I noted about the restaurant. Most of my negative points can be fixed if the staff are willing to take the constructive criticism. My overall rating for my experience today is a 3.5 (so I rounded it up to 4). PLUSES +++: 1. Kind and attentive service. 2. Decent food arrival time. 3. Nice portion size meals. 4. Fair pricing. NEGATIVES - - -: 1. The lamp right above us was very dusty/spider wed filled. 2. Both my Tikka Masala and another member of the party's Butter Chicken were severely under salted. So much so that if it isn't fixed we would only consider taking it to go next time so that we can salt it ourselves. Overall I'll be willing to try this place again but compared to Curry Leaves in Tampa, which is the only other Indian restaurant I've tried in the area it just doesn't meet up flavor wise.

Heartbreaking food shortages for wedding catering and poor management - Proceed with caution…read more We chose Flames Indian Cuisine for our multi-day Indian wedding based on the owner's personal assurance that because the restaurant was local, they could not run out of food. Unfortunately, the reality was a bride and groom's worst nightmare. The planning process was incredibly stressful. It took weeks to get a finalized menu or contract, and we weren't even able to settle the payment until the week before the event. Communication was consistently delayed. Despite paying for a 200-person guest count and having fewer guests than contracted, we ran out of food at nearly every event. This was witnessed by our guests, the venue staff, and our wedding planner. When we confronted the owner, he blamed our guests for "eating too much" rather than taking responsibility for under-preparing. He promised an internal investigation and a resolution within a month. It has now been three months, and despite numerous follow-ups, he has completely ignored our attempts to resolve this amicably. In Indian weddings, food is a pillar of the celebration. To have our guests waiting 10+ minutes for refills that never came was embarrassing and a clear breach of our contract. I would strongly advise any couple to look elsewhere if you want a caterer who is professional and honors their commitments.

They also have a buffet here every day from 11:30 to 2:30 and they also have one on the weekends & are open till 11pm on Saturday OuiOui. The menu is vast, and we have been hitting it hard. I really like the lovely little table by the window with the views of the lake... They even have fresh coconuts here. They chopped one & brought it to me with a straw. My fave. It's housed in a former Wendy's restaurant, and I can see why it closed. It had no visibility. The tiny signs on the building for Naans were not legible so unless you knew the restaurant, people just drive by and think it's abandoned. We arrived 30-minutes after opening and there were 2 cars in the parking lot. My first thought was they must do a great takeout. Entering the restaurant, it was nothing fancy. I'm more interested in the food, flavors, and service. The server/hostess was pleasant, but not at all attentive or checked up on us once. I ordered the garlic naan and chicken tikki Marsala. My partner asked which items are vegan, she really didn't know. At Rasoi in Ybor, the server was asked the same question and she immediately pointed out all the vegan items. There were at least eight dishes that were vegan. Only having one choice and waited 15 minutes to order, we were stuck and he ordered the Dal Tudka. The meals were delicious. The sauces and medium spices were perfect in both meals. The garlic naan was perfect for dipping. I liked the chicken was cut into cubes and didn't require a knife. And, the prices were so reasonable for the amount of food you received. My letdowns were the reason for only 3 stars. They had 8 different guests order takeout. The only customer in there when we arrived ordered by phone and waited 30 additional minutes. He said to the owner he left his house 20 minutes after placing his ordering. There were additional wait times for 7 of the 8 people who called in takeout orders. Our wait time was equally long. There seemed to be ample help in the back from where I was sitting. We were in the restaurant for 65 minutes from the time we walked in until the time we left. Nothing screamed ambience, experience, as well as so few orders for this to occur. One of my biggest letdowns in any sit down restaurant, other than a fast food restaurant is bottled drinks. I like water served in a glass, with ice, a straw, and refills. I'd like to say I would give them another chance, but my partner was hellbent not returning due to the 1 vegan option and service. It's a shame such wonderful flavors were overshadowed by less than great service and extensive wait times for us and the guests who ordered takeout.

Our first visit, straight from the airport, we opted for breakfast classics: mysore masala dosa, idly vada combo and Chana poori. My husband and I shared everything and really enjoyed it. The food was fresh, authentic and some of the best tasting SI food we have had in a long time. We finished the meal office by splitting a filter coffee and it was the perfect closing to the meal. On our second visit I wanted more of their delicious sambar so I opted for the sambar vada and my husband orders the chicken curry with paratha. Again, the food was fresh, authentic and tasty. The chicken tasted like a homemade plate and the sambar and vada were piping hot, perfect for a chilly day. My husband even ordered a chicken Kati roll and chicken 65 biryani to take home. Unfortunately their dum biryani is only available a few days a week, so that wasn't an option. He told me that the biryani was good but he would have preferred a dum style and that the chicken in the paratha wrap was tender and flavorful. This place is not fancy. Everything is served in paper plates and you order on a kiosk. This was totally fine with us. The only thing we wished was that the parathas were freshly made, and they appeared to be frozen/manufactured. This does however make sense when you consider the very reasonable cost of their food. They also offer both lunch and breakfast buffets with veg and meat options for under $20. We missed these but would love to come back and try. The staff and service were very warm and caring. I hope more people expand their palates and embrace this place as it offers great service and food at an accessible and affordable price and location.
