Their pastry sections are more of their strong suit when it comes to taste. Croissants are flaky and buttery, not to mention a great deal for one. €1.10 for a plain croissant. It's also beautifully made. Overall, don't do what I did when I came here and try to eat all three super super sweet mousse tartlets in one sitting, instead maybe take them home or hotel and enjoy with some sugar-free coffee. This patisserie has their presentation down. But it's for the sweet tooth not for the faint-tongued. Service are generally well. All the employees there seem to speak English so if you're not from Spain or can't speak the language, no worries. Last tip: try to come early as it tends to get busy during pastry craving hours. They had an incredible array of all things baked goods. They also had good coffee related options as well as what appeared to be a lot of local goods for sale. We had a number of delicious pastries including some very good donuts. Our kids were very excited about the donuts! Prices were very normal and the folks here were very friendly, and we're very effective at communicating with those of us who don't speak much Spanish. The seating area was more than ample and included a number of different options including tables and bar level seating. Worth a stop for a morning pastry or an anytime treat!
