Nachos Mexican Grill is a decent enough option for Mexican food and is an overall good spot with a friendly and professional staff and the ambiance here is nothing incredibly wonderful, but it is comfortable enough. The food here is good and again, it was a general overall positive experience. I eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants while on the road. Not only am I a huge fan of Mexican food, but I also find that Mexican restaurants seem to be the most consistent in my travels. I went with a burrito and overall, it was a good choice. read more

When in, Hogansville? That's right, one of your best bets is Nachos attached to a gas station! Oh yeah, you can almost feel the filth in the parking lot, but come to be pleasantly surprised upon stepping foot inside and sitting down in a booth. The place is cleanish and you really don't feel like there's a gas station behind the wall you're sitting against. The food isn't bad either! I got my traditional carne asada tacos. The meat was a little too charred for my liking, but the flavor was there. Even better: someone else picked up the check! There is another Mexican restaurant behind Nachos, but it's not as good! Last time I was there I felt uninvited.And what was suppose to be refried beans were white navy beans . Burnt meat and veggies. Small place, good food, sketchy restroom. Great service, and the food really was good. I had fajitas (steak) and my husband had tacos - we both enjoyed our meals. Lunch special was cheap @ $6.99 each. But, the bathroom is bad. You go through a hallway made from plywood into a room with two stalls - for both men and women (which is okay bc they do have a lock on the door leading to the stalls). There were lots of holes in the wall and it really needed to be cleaned. Nobody wants to go into the restroom at a restaurant to find a dirty toilet and a sink with watered down soap and no paper towels. read more

Karaoke during a meal was greatly. friendly atmosphere. Patio seating available, including indoors. There is another Mexican restaurant in the parking lot with karaoke also, this one has country music. I was unsure about the beans because they were a lighter color than I'm used to seeing, but they were good. The enchilada combo was delicious. We ordered the queso but it was cold and not enjoyable. My family went for Mother's Day and the food was not cooked well. The steak was rubbery and there was a long black hair in my daughters drink! They really do not follow food safety rules! The host and waitress was touching my granddaughters faces and now my youngest granddaughter has come down with hand-foot-and-mouth disease! This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants!! They have lunch specials everyday for $6.99 and a drink comes with it. Food is amazing and the workers there are always so nice. They had music that wasn't too loud and the restaurant was clean. I definitely recommend this place. Try it out!! read more

Not the worst Mexican food (that's next door at Turners). The steak fajitas really were ok when they came out piping hot. When they cooled, not so much. The tortillas were heated a little too long and had hardened a bit. Complimentary chips and salsa were acceptable but, I prefer a lighter chip. Atmosphere is about the same as next door, nothing special. The service was quite good and the wait time on food barely noticeable. I gave it a three star because they can improve on what they have but, I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again. read more

They accommodated our large Mother's Day party and did a fantastic job. Everyone's order was correct and the food was fresh and hot. Our waitress did a great job and we were able to enjoy a nice day on the patio with plenty of great food. We've ordered takeout several times and been equally as satisfied. My kids really liked this restaurant. We went this past Sunday afternoon and I will say the lunch special was awesome! For under six dollars (for most of the meals) you got a meal plus a drink included. The salsa and chips were ho-hum IMO. My kids say their taco was really good and they liked the sweet tea. I got the steak fajitas- so did my mom, again with a drink for ~ six dollars, I was happy. Service was prompt and polite. My son and I both agree the bathroom could have been cleaner and it was a weird set up. Also, it was crowded but it was Sunday afternoon. It just depends on the day and time! Sometimes we go and it's great while other times it's not very good at all. The flavors are normally on point and the only time we don't care for it is when their steak on the tacos is full of chewy pieces. The chorizo tacos are usually good! This is my Favorite Mexican Restaurant by far. Everyone has a favorite this is mine. The food is excellent. I try something different every time and haven't been disappointed yet. After trying many of the other local options near LaGrange, Nachos is where it's at! The Burrito LOCO was amazing! Great service and food.

Best street tacos, ever We are from Chattanooga TN and we had a mini vacation at Great Wolf Lodge in Lagrange. We wanted something other than what was at the hotel, so we found reviews for this place with several saying "best street tacos". My wife used to love this little taqueria down the road serving street tacos loaded with onions and cilantro. So we entered with hope. We were not disappointed. Best street tacos, ever. I had lengua and carnitas and both were excellent. They came with an assortment of sauces/salsas. Those were awesome as well. The carnitas themselves were also the best I've ever had. Service was great. They made me feel like I was family or a weekly regular. I will definitely be back! read more

The bathrooms smelled like urine, the menus were dirty, the lighting was awful in dining room, The tables were sticky the food, once it arrived, after 30 minutes was cold except for the fajitas which were piping hot. We were told that they try to tell the cooks not to put the tacos out until the very last but apparently the cooks know better than the waitresses do. Our son ordered a Barito but instead received an enchilada. The best part of the whole meal was the beer and walking out the door. Obviously we do not like this place. read more
