I read the 1's and 2's in the reviews and I would have just said lditto" to most......BUT.... We gave them a second chance. The service was spot on! We were greeted as we entered, queried about our seating preferences, as we had a handicapped dime among us, and we were promptly seated and all accommodations were met. The timing on the service was just perfect. Beverages, meal and check backs were just right; could have been a little quicker on the dessert check, but we were up against the clock and perhaps a little too time conscious. Love this place. Tostones are SO good with steak on top. Definitely my favorite thing so far on the menu. Their steak in general is delicious. Their chicken is also really good. Table side guac is really good and my mom follows a diet without carbs and they wrap her quesadilla in a crispy cheese shell instead, really thoughtful without even asking for that. Tortilla chips are thin and crispy and the salsa that comes with it is better than most. The service has always been really good, everyone is always so nice. My wife and I arrived for late lunch early dinner . Only a couple of other tables were occupied. We were seated quickly with chips salsa, and menus. I took my family there for dinner, the waitress took our order and then was MIA - my niece ordered a side of jalapeño- never received, the wrong appetizer was brought out, we had to literally look for our waitress took get our ticket- when we finally got the ticket, we were charged 18% gratuity (our party was over 4 people) THIS WAS NOT POSTED ANYWHERE IN THE RESTAURANT OR ON THE MENU My husband crossed out their gratuity amount and noted a different amount for the gratuity and even wrote on the ti (decreased due to horrible service) - the restaurant charged us the amount with their gratuity amount I called on December 16th, spoke with the manager, explained the horrible service we received, our waitress was MIA and we had to 'hunt her down to get our check' so we reduced the gratuity and noted a different amount, manager said she would refund the charged gratuity, on December 22nd, I called the restaurant again, spoke with the same manager to let her know I have not yet received the refund to which she replied 'I don't know what else to do, I processed the refund.' As of today, December 29th, I still have not received the refund - IT DOES NOT TAKE 2 WEEKS TO PROCESS A REFUND food is awful, service sucks, if you have more than 4 people in your group, apparently they feel they don't have to check on you and then charge you a gratuity - FOR WHAT??? you didn't do diddley damn as a waitress JUST AWFUL read more

We have eaten here several times since they opened and our food has been fantastic every time - from a group of two to a group of six. The staff is quick to bring drinks and food and the manager always pops by to check on things as well. Absolutely love the grilled chicken rice bowl and the mojito. The bartender Jacklyn has a nasty attitude. She is very disrespectful. The cash was handed to her and she had to walk off to go get change. Instead of her handing it back the same way she got it, she walked up behind me as my back was turned and lay my money down on the countertop. Not to mention make sure you ask for a receipt before paying for your food when carrying out, they will had a tip on there without your acknowledge. The place is very unprofessional. They are very flavourful and delicious, and you can choose how they cook your steak. We also like the fresh guacamole made at the table in front of us. They do put diced jalapeños in it, so ask for them on the side if not everyone at your table likes some spice. My family does not like spicy as much as me, so we get them on the side. I just put some guacamole on my plate, mix in don't of the jalapeños and it's wonderful for all. The service is always great as well. read more

The ambiance was lovely. Tara was personable and friendly. We are off to a good start on our first visit. The Texas margaritas are not the best we have had (the 3 of us agreed). Our server and someone had a slight disagreement over if we had the right drinks in front of us. They were so busy with one another, they did not notice that we said one drink had been delivered without the appropriate add in. Once we got the point across, they brought us half glass of the right flavor in the old glass! Ugh. Moving on to queso and chips again just average taste. Entree reviews are mixed: enchiladas/Brito combo did not come with the requested beans and was rated lower the average. Dish two (casserole) was considered unique and pulled a solid 3 rating. The chicken rice bowl, while light on toppings was quite tasty garnering the only 4 star. So, while the place is new and beautiful, my thought is to stay with our current favorite until improvements can be made. read more

Really cool, classy decor. Just wish they had saved some funding for higher quality food ingredients & perhaps some training of servers. $ 50 for lunch on Saturday. Ground beef was the basic finely ground paste as most Mexican places serve. Lettuce probably treated with MSG preservative. Ordered meal "deluxe " for $2.99 extra - arrived plain without sour cream, lettuce, etc. . Was charged for deluxe, but had it removed. Server made rare appearances. Wish I could have given a zero star, but can't. My wife and I went to try this restaurant. Looked over the menu, nothing special, just typical. Prices were located next to items as usual. However when we received our bill, everything was itemized. Who pays $2.25 just for a soft taco shell? Any additional ingredients costed as much as the shell. And all I ordered was a fish which came out in a 2 by 2 square extremely dry like shoe leather and nothing more. When asking the waitress who seemed to not understand English, but said she understood what we were ordering on each item, but nothing came as what was described by the waitress. My wife ordered a Tostada which wasn't on the menu, but the waitress said that she understood as my wife was looking for a cold shrimp salad on the shell. It came out as a Tostada with warm re fried beans and a few shrimp which we have never heard of such a thing. It was disgusting. When discussing these concerns with the manager, she said that even though we explained how we wanted it ordered, but didn't get what the waitress said that she understood, she wasn't going to change anything on the bill. After spending all the time talking with the manager, and even saying that we were going to share a review about this experience, she still did not seem concerned nor cared. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As far as ambiance goes, they could do a better job of cleaning the dining area which had garbage and dead bugs around the tables and seating area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a shame that this place goes on the "Do not repeat" list as my wife and I are always looking for decent eating establishments in our local town.
