The restaurant is very clean and they had great customer service. The hummus was very watery with no flavor at all and did not taste like real chickpea/garbanzo bean hummus, I threw it away along with the paper thin cold pita bread. The rice was not Mediterranean; it was plain white rice with minimal seasoning. The salad was nice and green and the gyro meats were good. All of the sauces were very good and the food portions were large but i'll definitely try some other Mediterranean places before I go back to this place as this will be my last option because it's close. read more

This was recommended to me. Place has nice ambiance and passed my after meal smell test - meaning my clothes does not smell like the food I ate. Portion is a good size. In an effort to be a better vegetarian, I dropped the chips and went to nadia's for a falafel plate (the serving was more than generous...I barely made it through half before I gave up). Everyone was friendly, the shop was empty, but it was Monday at 5....so? The falafel was good eating. Not at all greasy, and I felt like I was actually in their kitchen when they were making it. The hummus had a little too much tahini, but everything else (fatoush and pita) was stellar. I can't rate their yogurt sauce, because I didn't have any (trying to watch the waistline), but definitely come through if you want authentic Mediterranean. It may take a little bit (made to order), but it's worth it. Couldn't rate anything but the vegetarian options, but they're probably good too, if you like meat. read more

Its an order at the counter and they bring it to you kind of place. You pay at the counter then slide you a receipt to sign with a place for a tip even though you haven't been served anything yet. I really hate that. This is on the owner as well for a not so well thought out process. Some of the tables needed cleaning but nobody was around to do that. If they expect the girl taking orders, running the register, making dishes, and serving customers to also bus tables then that is flat out wrong. Maybe it was an off day with the support. Its been a while since I have wrote a review on Yelp. When I visited yelp today, the owner recalled me that he had seen me on yelp and it got me thinking what I had said about the restaurant. Since my previous review, I have been to Nadias on multiple occasions, and things have changed. Whenever I go now, the customer service is always good and never have an issue. On occasion I get my shawarma and its not as hot as I would like it to be, but I guess its just a request I need to make. I find their service horrible. First time I went in there, the lady said I would have to wait 45 minutes so they can put the meat on the rotisserie. (Lunch time) I saw at least 4 customers walk in and when they inquired about an order, they were told the same thing about the wait time and the customers left. The lady behind the counter had no qualms about the customers leaving. A small business should care about EVERY customer. Plan ahead. Second time, I called to order food to go, the lady on the phone said they ran out of meat and it would take up to 50 minutes to get an order. Again?! I think their food is good, but not worth the wait. Too bad the gyro shops around this area are limited. Service goes a long way and I feel that the people behind the counter have no remorse in how badly they serve their customers. read more

My wife and I were on our way to Chili's when she suggested we try this little Mediterranean place in the shopping center across the street. We went in and were greeted by the niciest folks and as we made our way to the counter to order we could smell how delicious the food was. We read the menu and were going to order the Beef Shawarma when were were told that they would have to prepare the meat and it might take a few minutes. We looked at each other and shrugged....The person helping us brought over a sample of the meat and after we both sampled it we decided we could wait...... It was moist and melted in your mouth good..... As we waited we were brought different samples of things they make....they were all wonderful....the chicken is just as good as the beef... We got our food and it was well worth the wait (which ended up not being that long). The meat was moist, tender and full of flavor. The fries were very good too. I like to think of this as Mediterranean fast food, but it can take a while to prepare your meal. The food is tasty and I have to think much healthier than all the fast food joints surrounding it. However it does seem to be a hodge-podge of ethnic bits as other reviewers have mentioned so try to keep an open mind when trying the place. I've been in there at lunch time when it was completely empty, and I've also been there when it was packed. Unfortunately when it gets packed you can wait a LONG time for your meal. I've seen a person walk out of the place after ordering and waiting on their food that who knows when it would be ready.... Typically we get the Schwarmas (Gyros), and I would recommend getting an appetizer of Hummus and asking them to bring it out first so you have something to snack on while waiting for your food. read more

Heaven has arrived! With the opening of Nadia's, it is finally possible to get a great chicken shawarma in Spring, Texas. I'm a connoisseur of Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine, especially chicken shawarmas, and Nadia's has the best chicken shawarmas, falafel, and kefta that I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The restaurant is an informal operation in a stripmall on FM2920. The menu is limited and the ownership are still learning the restaurant business (they're slowing adding items to the menu and fixing up the interior). That being said, the items on the menu are all prepared from the owner's mother's recipes and they are, for lack of a better word, awesome. I've tried falafel at every type of Middle Eastern restaurant all over the United States and I can honestly say that the ones at Nadia's are the best. The chicken shawarma is as good as any I've ever had and the grape leaves (which I normally hate) are great (lite and lemony). I don't like baba ghanouj (I don't like egg plant), but my wife loves the baba ghanouj here and orders it often. I personally love the hummus. Heck, I love everything here. For simple Lebanese food, Nadia's is as good as it gets. read more
