Mr. Nadler also had the inner frames of all existing cabinets painted to match the color and finish of the matte anthracite that I went with. This was a 3-day job. With how clean and organized the crew worked, I was able to keep living in my apt without interruption after each shift. I can't say enough about Mr. Nadler and Nadler Cabinets. I had had a new custom kitchen installed 3 years ago. Unfortunately some of the veneer on the sides of some cabinets was starting to lift. I had Mr. Nadler take a look. We agreed on a plan to create panels that would be mounted on the sides of the cabinets as is often seen in hi-quality kitchens. The challenge here was matching the shaker-style doors both in dimension and color. In addition one of the panels had to be custom-fitted to fit around a window sill. The results were outstanding! It is impossible to tell that the panels weren't made by the same people who built the cabinets 3 years ago. The match is perfect. And the fit is spot on. The cabinets look so much better! It's difficult to judge the price. For me, what I paid was worth it and that's all that matters. And a word about Liz. She was incredibly helpful, following up when she said she would, arranging the appointments with Mr. Nadler and so on. Highly recommended! read more

The work they did on our closets was fine, but they didn't finish. We attempted to contact them for months without success in getting our closets completed. I was tired of fixing the old hinges on my old kitchen cabinets. A contractor I know recommended Mr. Nadler. He replaced the old hinges on my kitchen cabinets and installed modern hinges that prevent the cabinet doors from slamming. In a later job, he fixed the hinge on a room door. He fixed a chest containing kitchen utensils. The bottom of the chest was falling out. Mr. Nadler secured it perfectly. My kitchen had a problem with some of the woodwork. He did an excellent job repairing the woodwork. He made the woodwork look much better. When I asked about his completing a different but small job elsewhere in my apartment, he replied that he thought I could do job, and suggested a simple approach to it. He told me to save my money rather than have him return. He has been to my house about four times. Any reader can see that I think very highly of him. On two occasions he had an apprentice work with him. I was very impressed with the fine way he treated each person who worked for him and was there to learn from him. I write this as a professor who has conducted research on the impact of job stress on the health of workers. He is a gentleman and mensch. Mr. Nadler is talented. Hardworking. Honest.
