Some how, through the miracle of internet search, I found Tamas and ProWood. We hired Tamas to design, engineer, build, and install the paneled entrance to our dining room, the paneling along one wall, and the built-in bookcases along the other wall. Throughout the process, Tamas was incredibly patient with our decision making, giving us sketches to confirm his understanding of what we wanted and then CAD print outs showing us exactly how it would look once it was built. As homeowners without an interior design background, this was incredibly helpful. While his team does the actual installation, Tamas visits the job site frequently to ensure that everything is being done as discussed. Tamas is in great demand, and we had to wait in line to get our project done, but it was worth it, as it is very hard to find such meticulous craftsmanship. Robbie came up with ingenious fix requiring some custom carpentry so that the spice rack did not disappear but became an integral of the whole. He encouraged us not to give up on what we wanted the project to look like even though other renovators had told us it was impossible to do. He also offered to answer any questions we might have along the way. Then there's Shevy, the permit and insurance coordinator. She dealt with the necessary paperwork and kept the inspectors at bay so we did not have to deal with those headaches. And last but not least, Mario, the site manager, who was there every day, hands-on, always professional and pleasant.
