If you're in a rush, I would either call ahead or be sure you have an appointment. It can get busy depending on the time of day. If you go during the day Mon-Fri, there probably won't be too much of a wait because as mentioned by someone else, they have quite a few stations. With that being said, my nails/toes always look great after leaving and last a long time. Nene really makes sure her work looks good and she is so sweet! Started off as a 4 star. Easily. Everything about it was great- pedicure was relaxing, nice long massage, manicure was meticulous. Place is very clean and relaxing. But when I got in the car and took a closer look at my nails. They had bubbles and the top coat was so think I can see the streaks. I know enough about nails that bubbles mean it's old/thick nail polish and mixed with acetone to finish the bottle (which I saw him do). The price wasn't cheaper than beach prices either. $48 for basic mani pedi no gel. read more

To sum it up: Pedicurist did my pedicure great but it took so long bc he started working on another girls feet. It took a full hour for me just to get my pedicure! My gel shellac looked like crap! It was all faded and lines were not defined. Additionally this place is extra expensive considering the poor job on my my French gel painting which didn't even include a manicure. $70 total for a long wait to finish my pedicure (not gel) and crappy gel color. I will not be back. The only thing they got going for them is the wine/water/ perks. read more

I highly recommend Emerald Nails. After trying several nail salons in the area, this has become my go-to salon. The staff is attentive, friendly and the salon is well appointed and clean. I look forward to the time spent relaxing and getting an manicure and pedicure. The salon plays relaxing music, they offer you a beverage and the pedicure chairs have a massage feature. I try to call ahead for an appointment, when my schedule allows, however, they always accommodate my daughter and me, if we have to stop by after work. Arrived at 6:18pm walked up to the door. The lady inside locked the door and started cutting the lights off, so I knocked. The hours on the door said open until 7pm (walk ins welcome). As I stood there at the door, she completely cut the lights and walked to the back of the studio. I only wanted a quick wax :( If you post set hours you should abide by them so people dont waste their time coming in. Lesson learned wont ever go and try it again. That's just rude... you could have at least came to the door to tell me you were closing early. read more

I should start by saying that to me pedicures/manicures are a treat, so I maybe get them done 4/5 times a year dependent on special occasions. I also bounce back and forth between fort Walton and Atlanta for work, and I would much rather get my nails done here vs any place I've tried in Atlanta. Every employee is incredibly kind/attentive. Very genuine and personable. It's good to see people enjoying themselves/co-workers... Makes for a more relaxed environment. The skill of my pedicure and gel mani's are always wonderful. My pedicures last well beyond my gel nails and I attribute that to great skill. The only non-glowing thing I can say is I'm not offered refreshments at every visit and I wish there was a larger selection of regular nail colors to select from. But do know you can always bring in your own ;) I highly recommend this salon and will continue to be a loyal customer. read more

I've been to others in the area, and this place is my favorite! They do an amazing job and actually try to engage in conversations with you. Everybody is very friendly. The last time I went in, I got my acrylics removed and a gel polish over my natural nail. I was hesitant on colors, and they made sure I was happy with what was chosen. Most nail salons give you suggestions with what they like. This place makes sure it's what you like. Been here three times and I've never been disappointed. I love coming here for both appointments and walk-ins. They have 11 pedicure chairs and 8 nail stations in addition to the hair cut (right) side. Hayleigh is wonderful and the rest of the staff is always friendly. They offer complimentary water and drinks as well. There is regular polish, gel, and powder dip. They will always have my business as long as I live here. The only suggestion I have is that they consider using tub liners for sanitary purposes and offer to keep tools for regulars somewhere separate as they currently just all share tools. read more

Every time I've been there I'm greeted by my name as well as other returning customers. Even when they are busy, I never feel rushed and the quality of service is always outstanding. My eyebrows are a big deal to me and it's scary to trust someone else to do them. After trying many places and styles of eyebrow grooming, I am confident that there isn't a better place to have them done. Really knowing shapes is key and I have never been failed here. I bring my family members and friends and they all thank me later. I've brought a few friends whose eyebrows looked like there was no hope at all and had it all turned around. I went in this place because I saw it had good reviews. And it was amazing! No language barrier. No excuses. The lady I had my nails done with was great. Asked for solar nail with french tip and it was actually better than I have had it done in other places. There is a hair salon as well there so I cant speak for that part but I think its great to be a able to go to a place where you can get two things done in one place. My manicure and pedicure all together was 75.00 pricy but hey it was great experience. I Am planinng on becomming a regular customer! read more

I only give this place two stars because they give a decent pedicure. I am put off by some of their other practices, as they relate to nail services, however. As most of these salons demonstrate, when having nail services done they are in a huge hurry to get you in and out and move on to the next customer. I wear an acrylic overlay on my own nails and I have it removed (soaked off) every few months and have a fresh coat reapplied. When I asked this salon to do it they apparently couldn't be bothered with the time it takes to soak off and instead the girl used an artificial nail tip to basically go between the acrylic layer and my own nail and RIP it off. As you might imagine this really damaged my own nails and made them more fragile than ever. I also have experienced the problem of the tech not completely removing my old nail polish before proceeding with the fill. All in all, a complete show of laziness and only a concern for making the quick buck. read more

My sisters and I always go here for our pedicures, and we love it. The staff and owners are so friendly, patient, and helpful. The studio is always clean, with great OPI nail colors. If we are going with a big group, we make appointments, which are always honored. If it's just one or two of us, we just walk in. Great experience every time, with very personal service! read more

I've been here three times; the first time I asked for a manicure and only received a polish; but the pedicure was great. The second time was for a manicure and I had a great tech. The third time was the killer; my nails are fragile and I had been trying to grow my own for a wedding. The tech was made aware that ths was the case. I had a split in one nail, so she sent me over to another tech to have acrylic put on the nail. Then when i got back to the first tech, she buffed and polished and filed so hard, the acrylic came off on the repair the split with super glue. It split again the next day; three other nails developed splits where the nail joins the finger which I think was caused by her filing so hard and close. I will not go back after this experience. Lack of experience in techs is not a good hiring practice if you care about repeat business. read more
