I can't say enough good things about every single person who works here -- they are all amazing. My nails now last an average of 5 to 6 weeks, which has never happened before! Michell does my nails and always does an incredible job. As for pedicures, Ella takes care of mine, and she is nothing short of a miracle worker. Honestly, if it weren't for Ella, I don't think I'd have any toenails left! Before I came here, my toenails were always painful and difficult to manage, but Ella gave me the confidence (and care!) to grow them out -- something I never thought possible. Walked-in on a Monday afternoon. Very quiet and probably only one other customer in the salon. Was sat down immediately and my boyfriend sat on the side. Michelle did my nails. I asked for a soak-off ($8) and regular manicure ($15). Very pleased with the end result despite my grown-out acrylics not actually being soaked off. Michelle cut and pried them off and then filed and buffed the surface. She noticed a fungal infection on my left ring finger (most likely from the last salon I went to for a fill-in) and treated it with anti-fungal liquid, which I appreciated. I'm not really sure why this place received bad reviews. My cuticles were cut and my nails were cleaned on BOTH sides - not every salon cleans under the natural nail before painting. Manicure consisted of a base coat, two color coats, a top coat, and "quick-dry." Super clean looking in-person and in pictures. Don't mind all my nails being different lengths, I asked her not to cut them shorter than they already were. I was charged exactly the amount she quoted in the beginning and paid in cash. I went here today because I needed a quick mani pedi and they are across the street from my chiropractors office. Well let me tell you. It was not quick. They took their time which in a way is a good thing but it just seemed slow overall. And my polish isn't great. The polish is over my cuticles on my toes & my fingers. The real shocker came when it came time to pay. $45 for a mani/pedi!!! Regular mani/pedi with no extras. There are many places on this island you can get a mani/pedi for $25. I lived in Manhattan for years & never paid $45 for a simple mani/pedi. If I am paying $45 for a mani pedi it better be worth it and mine chipped in the same day! Just feel ripped off. This salon opened under a new management a month ago. There are not too many good places in this area and this place is a hidden gem. I had a color gel manicure with sparkling effect. Amy is a great technician who knows how to create new designs and the work is impeccable. My nails look just as shiny as the first day. Even though my nails grew out they still look great today after 14 days. The pedicure is just awesome. I tried two pedicurists and both were fantastic. The hot stone massage and the heel paraffin treatment is supreme. A true Five star nail salon! Must try out! read more

Don't think I'll return because of their cut throat attitude toward the dollar bill. The customer does not come first at this place. The tools are cleaned in new & sealed autoclave bags as they should be. $10 for a polish change for your feet. However, they charge an extra $5 to cut your cuticles , if I'd know that I would have spent the $10 more to get a pedicure experience. I've never heard of a salon charging extra for that, it's ALWAYS included and I am Very disappointed, I expected more. They didn't even use the hot towel to wipe off the cuticle oil. So I paid $5 more for what? The girl who did my pedicure, (I'll leave her name out because I do not want to jeopardize her career. I will say she was Mexican and probably unlicensed.) She did not even cover my toenails completely with polish. I prefer a pedicure that hits all the edges of my nail. Especially if you're going to charge me "$5 more" to cut my cuticles, then tax for using a credit card, I expect more than an Ok job. She was booked when I first called so I had to wait three hours and schedule a later appointment. After receiving the pedicure from Patty, the woman has the nerve to tell me that I would have to get my manicure from her instead of Patty. What was the point of me waiting several hours to secure an appointment with the nail tech I made the appointment for if I wanted you to do my nails with you? Not bad, I chose this place mostly it was very closed my house in the neighborhood, so very convenience!

The staff was nice, and there seemed to be a steady stream of customers coming in during my time there. I was decently happy when I left, but here I am, one day later, and the gel manicure is peeling. Not even 24 hours have passed! That's disappointing considering how much it cost. The paint job wasn't perfect, but it was manageable. Now I'm planning how to have it all removed because the peeling is seriously noticeable. Edit: I have a tremendous amount of respect for a business that will make things right. I called to inquire about the condition of my manicure, and they offered to fix it! By far one of the best nail salons I've been to. I'm a cosmetologist so I know about cleanliness precision and overall doing a good job. To start the salon is nice cozy and has enough chairs for a whole bunch of people. I started off by getting the manicure pedicure special which was pretty cheap, for the pedicure they use individually packaged sanitized utensils and I love that because I am a stickler for sanitation... even the foot file they used was individually wrapped which I loved. Then I felt like I had chosen the spa pedicure although it was only a regular... they loaded me with lotions, scrubs, hot stones and warm towels, even a hot oil treatment for my heels.. it was so great. Then for my nails , they used a hot lotion gloves which felt super amazing and that was followed by the hot towels as well overall it was a great experience and I recommend it to everyone on the island. read more

It's a shame, really, because I have been coming here for a little more than 3 years and to be honest... that's the longest I've ever gone to any one nail salon ever. With that being said, I will never return. I've noticed service going downhill over the last few months especially. I used to think this place gave the BEST pedicures and well they are now the WORST!! The girls are never paying attention, yapping and texting on their phones and just generally rude all around. My experience this past weekend just angered me so much that I have officially decided that I am DONE! The girl who did my pedicure was beyond rude!! She was rough and when I asked her to please be gentle, that she's hurting me, she gave me the dirtiest look ever!! I almost walked out. I really love this nail salon!! The employees are always very friendly, happy, and accommodating. The salon it self is always kept very clean. I get my gel manicures done by Amy, one of the owners. She always does an excellent job and the polish lasts for up to 3 weeks with no chips or lifting! I am always getting complimented on her work. Came here for a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was good all though to my disappointment the massage chair didn't work and didn't recline, so I was a little uncomfortable. The lady who did my manicure seemed all over the place and was not focused on my nails. She was talking on her personal cell phone at least 3 times as well while she was doing my nails. She seemed very frustrated because she messed up 3 of my nails for rushing and not giving enough time for them to dry before massaging my hands. She kept muttering under her breath and it was very obvious that she just wanted to get it over with. When everything was done, she said jokingly "next time do gel instead, powder too hard" (i did sns powder). Looking at the finished product, it came out decent even though several of my nails are messed up (scratches and dents) I could rant on about so many other things (She was not careful with filing my nails, wasn't always paying attention to what she was doing, unorganized, and kept taking breaks from me to do other things like cashier, answering phones and including her cellphone). She ended up rushing more towards the end because she had a client who was here for her and was not done with me yet. Everything in total was 55 for a pedicure and sns manicure which did not seem worth it honestly. I'm sure that this place isn't bad however if i ever do come back i will make sure to avoid that lady. read more

I am a perfectionist with my nails and this place does not disappoint. I have been 3 times so far for a gel manicure 2/3 times were absolutely perfect. The other time the woman seemed distracted & I left with a sloppy manicure. They do a great job shaping nails & have a large selection of colors. This was my first time being here and I have to say I am very impressed. I was there was for a pedicure and gel manicure and felt it was very fairly priced compared to other salons here on SI. I asked for a regular pedicure (not spa) but I was pleasantly surprised that it included a long massage and wax for my heels! And then they used hot stones for an additional massage! Those are extras you that are never included with a regular pedicure! The pedicure was awesome, the lady that did mine was very thorough and did an awesome job. For my gel manicure they did a few extras that other salons don't do as well - one of them was adding a heated disposible gloves with a softening lotion for the hands. It felt so nice and smelled amazing. All along the way I was asked if I liked the color of the nail polish I had chosen, if the length/shape was what I wanted. Went there this afternoon to have a gel manicure and pedi with my mom. This place had good reviews and I figured why not try it out..BAD IDEA!! The staff seemed rushed. The Hispanic lady who did my gel used normal nail polish when I commented on she stated "I know what I'm doing I use to own a nail salon it's okay it will stay with the gel " (well obviously past tense "HAD" cause she was not good). The design was bad it looked like balls of glitter she ended up redoing design with the help of her coworkers. My nails now are sticky as she clearly didn't use the right material. :/ read more

I came in on Friday around 445. It wasn't too busy, I went to get a gel mani and reg pedi. The color choices were decent. Luckily this place doesn't have their workers wear name tags because I would definitely tell you NOT to get your nails done by this woman. Once I sat in the chair to get a pedicure, she checked her phone.. for a good two minutes. I'm legit just staring at her checking her messages on her phone. And then for the entire duration of my pedicure she's holding a conversation with another worker. And here's the worst part -- MY TOE STARTS BLEEDING !! Yes she cut my toe while cleaning it and all she had to say is sorry, and continues her conversation. I will never come back here again-- definitely not worth the price. Visited for the first time when I was in Staten Island seeing my parents for a weekend. The place is really nice and clean. Unfortunately, they took a long time to remove my old color and provide a new gel manicure. Considering it took an hour for the service, the outcome is nice but still not perfect like the place I normally go to. They include keratin lotion gloves in the 25 dollar price, but the packet was heated up and burned part of my hand. I'll look for another salon next time I'm in Staten Island. read more

The woman who did my nails seemed very rushed when she was applying each coat which left gel in my cuticles, even though the place had just opened and there was no one else there. The coats ended up being very lumpy and streaky and not opaque. And here's the best part... it peeled off in ONE PIECE by the end of the night on day 1!!
