Walked in on a Sunday with my mom for manicures and pedicures. There was a bit of a wait but to be fair we did not call ahead to make an appointment. Once we were seated we were very happy with our services. Salon is clean and cozy. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable in their craft. Prices are reasonable, which is hard to find nowa days. Anna did a wonderful job on my acrylics and Kelly gave my mom a beautiful manicure. We are so happy to have found a place so close to home. We will be returning for sure! read more

Stay far away. Getting your nails done should be a fun, positive, possible relaxing experience. This was far from that. I tried this place with a friend since we've heard good things. First, you're not even greeted. Let me preface this second point by saying in no way am I against other languages, however, while getting your nails done it is an extremely unpleasant experience to have nail techs yelling from One side of the room To the other in a language you cannot understand. Not only is it rude, it's uncomfortable. Prices are not as marked, I got a regular manicure for 26$. This is not manhattan, they removed a gel and added a clear coat. ROBBERY. They're also dirty. Everything was kind of just meshed together. Paying attention to what the other techs are saying instead of focusing on your nails. Please stay away, I'm not even sure how they're open. Forgot how many nail salons there are in NY! Literally 1-2 per block on Hylan Blvd, which means prices are significantly lower than in Vegas. My two Aunts, cousin and her two daughters and I had our nails done before my Aunt & Uncle's 50th Anniversary Party. Since I'd already had a gel mani in LV, I opted to get a pedicure. They don't do gel pedis and the owner was super curious about them, Vegas pricing, and why I still run with a cracked toenail which needs patching every pedi :-) The pedicure was great, lasted for about 40 minutes including a scrub, masque, several heated towels and heavenly massage. Owner is super sweet, does both of my Aunt's nails regularly and even gave a beautiful anniversary gift to my Aunt. Certain I'll be back when on SI. Very nice people and great work! I normally do not write reviews but I had such a horrible experience I had to share. First they charge more than their advertised price and say that it is due to tax yet that is written no where. I paid extra for quick dry and I dried my nails for over 20 minutes. They still smudged right after I left. Within two days by nails were chipped and the nail Polish was coming off. Aside from their improper business practices - it is clear they use bad products and/or old polish. When charging over 10 bucks for a manicure in Staten Island one would expect otherwise. Horrible. I am extremely picky when it comes to mani pedis so if I seem harsh, so be it. The place was hot, no ventilation to start off. How can you breathe in hear I was thinking? The pedicure was mediocre at best but it did the polish change sort of job you need when you have a chip during sandal season. I think I would come back in a pinch. I wanted to try something new so I decided to try this place. When you see an abundance of colors, it looks very nice. I was taken in right away and the lady began doing my nails. I had two acrylic nails and she took them very painfully. I kept asking her to be careful because it hurt she didn't listen and continued. Not even halfway through the manicure, she stopped and took another customer and did her pedicure, I sat and waited twenty minutes for someone to finish doing their work so they can do my nails. At that point I was very frustrated. The other lady who took me did it very quick and sloppy. I strongly don't recommend this place. It's very over priced for horrible work. After 30 min of sitting waiting to get my acrylics done the woman just pointed and me and said come here, I asked for a new set and she said no and proceeded to buff my cuticles after I repeatedly asked her to stop because it hurts. I sadly have to give this place 2 stars after witnessing how disrespectful the owner was to a paying customer. The young woman was asking a question about the gel manicure and he blatantly ignored her, shook his head in annoyance at her, and then began speaking to a coworker in his native language while staring at the woman, making it known he was talking about her. The woman was on the heavier side, and I hate to say this, but I think that is why he mistreated her. An attractive young woman walked in a few minutes after and the owner was much more attentive to her needs. While witnessing this I was biting my tongue, and I wonder if perhaps I should have confronted the owner because his disrespectful attitude ended up ruining my experience as well. I am very loyal to this place and come for my gel manicure every two weeks because they do a wonderful job. I think I will head back once more and if I witness this type of behavior again they will unfortunately lose me as a customer. read more

Our manicures came out clean and neat. My friend got gel with one glitter finger and one finger where the color is just a French line. When it came to pay, they made up some arbitrary price for her. They said the policy is that one design is free but if you get 2nd design, they charge you for the first AND the 2nd design. How does this make sense if the first design by nature is free? I was in the salon on Friday. I asked the owner if they could do my nails in 1 hour I use LCN products on my nails and they do use the real LCNproducts. Unfortunately my nails were not done in one hour and I had to go back to work. So I left the salon with my natural nails no color on them. And they charged me the full price for a full set of LCN nails. Which would have been okay if it was the pink and white. I did get upset but the owner told me I could come back and get them colored anytime for free. When I raced back there after work on Saturday the owner was not there and the skinny little girl that sits in the first chair with the short hair treated me like an animal. She would paint my nails but told me the paint would come right off because I had LCN on my nails. I practically begged her to please fix my nails and not to let me leave the shop looking like that. And also told her it was very unprofessional the way she was acting she was laughing at me. I am NOT 22 am 50 years old. The bottom line is they want to make money with color gels and they have no interest in working with LCN and products. This abuse cost me$76.19. Over the weekend, I needed some major pampering so I went to La Belle for a pedicure. I am very meticulous and I do not settle for a anything less than a perfect pedicure. Fani was great! She took her text to ensure that my pedicure was perfect! I sat in the massage chair while watching the food network. I was finally able to have some much needed rest and relaxation. I search high and low to find a good gel mani for under $25. My cousin recommended La Belle and it's $23 for gel! I came in on a Saturday at 10:30 am without an appointment and they set me up at the high top table to soak off my gel. It must have been really strong acetone because my gel came right off. I was so happy they don't scrape here because my nails are so fragile to begin with. A girl named Jenny did my nails and she was great. It was the fastest gel manicure I've ever had and it came out really nice. I wish I lived closer to make this my nail salon. I am worried to try a pedicure here after the bad reviews. read more

Very rude establishment. Nails are mediocre at best but I go here for the convenience of location and for the fact that they take "tips" on a cc. A customer came in while I was getting a manicure and the manicurist who seemed happy the new customer came in asked me to move to another seat so that she can take the new customer. After I asked for an explanation, both the manager and the manicurist claimed the new customer had an appointment. I explained that the manicurist should finish my nails then take the customer and that would be good customer service. I was basically bullied out of the seat and seated with another manicurist. This place is very clean and nice size but I did not enjoy my pedicure at all which so pissed me off. Im all about CUSTOMER SERVICE people and these people totally sucked at it which annoyed me. The lady who did my pedicure was just rude and quick which gave me a sour face and if I didn't have a event that evening to go too and it wasn't a hurricane outside I would of left real quick. She was just rude and I hated my pedicure job, I am there to be taken care of and feel good when I leave and I am sorry but I expect a nice foot and calf rub because thats your job and you make your most money off your tips. Im never one to give anyone a hard time and easy to get along with off the jump but she was just not my cup of tea. The lady who does my nails was pretty nice and did a real nice job I have to say and thats why I give this rating an extra star, there clean, have lots of polishes to choose from but I am more of the gel manicure type in which I liked my color and will only go back for that. They have a separate person for your nails and other for your toes, thats a good way of making tips fairly. I tip very well too if I get the treatment a good customer should get. The owner just walks around watching what the girls do or on his phone on the couch, not much of a help really, he looks like he just wants to make his money. NEVER GO TO THIS NAIL SALON!!! I simply asked for a powder gel manicure... which requires no UV lamp or UV polish. This powder requires 3 dips in powder of the color that you choose. When I arrived, the lady didn't ask me what color I wanted but continued to dip my nails in clear powder 3 times. I asked her if I should have chosen my color already and she replied with "One second". She then asked me to pick a gel color after she finished the 3 coats of powder. At this point I am very confused as to why she is now doing the UV gel process on top of the powder process. At the end of doing the UV gel process, I asked her if there was any way she can fix the thickness and uncomfortableness of the 6 layers of powder and UV gel. She tried explaining to me that she didn't use "UV gel" at all, when she used BOTH. She explained that this is how powder gel worked... which I have seen done at other nail salons, not the way she had done it (which was so bizarre). She charged me $75 for a normal pedicure and a "powder gel set" (which was $35 but was charged an extra $10 for a color top). She took advantage of my young looking self and thought she could charge me extra for the nails. I confronted her about it with another lady and started fighting with me over money. I came in an hour ago for a regular manicure and was asked to wait 15 minutes. 15 minutes later it was another 15 minutes and so on. Yes the pedicures suck, the gel manicures tho are what they do the best and they are pretty quick at both. The thing that i like about the way they do gel mani's is they dont shave your nails down to get rid of the old gel, they soak it off which is so much better on your nails.
