But I'm very disappointed because I paid $120 to get a specialty pedicure and my nails done dipped for a vacation, because dip is supposed to last two weeks (sometimes it has even lasted three weeks), and four nails chipped within one week and they're lifting at the ends catching my hair anytime I try to do my hair, pulling hair out. read more

I am new in town and was looking for a nice place to do threading of my brows as I do not like wax for my brows. I called ahead and spoke to a very nice gentleman who said they did eyebrow threading. When I arrived, the gentleman took us back to the eyebrow room where a woman was waiting. When I asked for clarification that she does threading, she said "no, wax is better". I replied I asked for threading and called ahead to make a sure they offered threading. She replied back that she was tired and would do waxing for me and my fiancé. I insisted on threading and she proceeded to slam a small drawer closed and said okay. Of course I wasn't about to allow someone who clearly appeared to have an attitude touch my brows so we walked out. The nice gentleman didn't understand why we were leaving so I let him know the employee said she was tired and didn't want to do threading. Customer service was not paramount in this case and I will take heed and take my brow business elsewhere. read more

Okay I told the lady I wanted the cheapest pedicure and of course she gave me the $60 one. I'm not even going to complain though because john rocked my nails. He did exactly what I wanted. Don't let them fool you though the nails were $60 too. Very expensive but worth it. read more

I have been going to this salon for several years. I have always been pleased with the job done and I see the same technician every time. However that tech is leaving and moving out of state, to my dismay, though I wish him well. Every time he has done everything I asked him to in the way I want them done. I have had techs that do everything the exact same way regardless of my instructions so I was pleased when I found this tech. The salon is very convenient to my home and I find their prices very reasonable. I always call a few days in advance to schedule an appointment and usually can get an appointment within an hour or so of my desired time. I highly recommend this establishment. Four stars because I have to secure a new technician. Not many men get their nails done with acrylic and some places have treated me differently but I am treated with dignity and respect. -vg read more

I don't normally do this because I find it pointless. But I must warn you, I went in to get a full set American. Although I have a cousin that normally does my nails since she started going to school for cosmetology. BIG MISTAKE I MADE. I was pressed for time and was close to this salon. Although it did not have the best reviews I took a chance. My nails were uneven, he tried to cut my nails off my nail bed in the corner saying it was ingrown which it was not he had taken toooo much off that side of my nail and tried to hide it by doing that. "The white tip" started 3/4 a way of my nail. I was just so upset and imagine my embarrassment when I had to ask my cousin for help. Save your time and money don't go here.I have pictures but unfortunately can't post. It looked like a 12 year old did my nails and painted them although it was all acrylic. read more

Very good nail spa/salon it's tucked in a publix shopping center ( as they usually are ) courteous staff not pushy or too fast and most of all clean they put plastic over their foot spa machines and always use clean tools and scrubbers which they give to you as optional. Prices are fair and atmosphere is nice it's honestly the only place I would recommend for pedicures and manicures. read more

Very nice people massages that went with mani/pedi were great just the manicure nail polish job left a lot to be desired been less then a wee and my sister has gone back to get hers fixed because of chipping and polish not going to end of nails. Mine did not go to cuticles and I already have gaps looks 2 weeks old! We can say lesson learned! read more

The pedicure was good however....I was very disappointed with the manicure. They got a new customer in and began to rush. When I pointed out that the cuticles weren't looking very good they completely ignored me. They asked me again at the end of the manicure if I liked them and again I said the cuticles needed redone. They told me your nails are dry you can leave. I won't be going back. read more

I love this place. I've been getting nails and pedicures done here four almost five years. Staff is very friendly. No one is perfect and any mishaps I've had whether my fault or theirs (very unusual) they've always been courteous. The salon itself is super clean and they always place a sanitary baggie in the foot tub before the pedicure. As for the prices, I believe they are reasonable for the quality of work I've seen them do. A peaceful place for sure read more

Jessie did my nails and they were amazing, however I won't be returning. My GEL pedicure was smeared, coming off and a disaster after 3 days, I returned to get it fixed and the GEL fix was still not up to par. Opaque and not a nice glossy, smooth finish. Had gel nails done by Mimi last Thursday On Saturday, the polish on a nail peeled up. They repaired it on Sunday. Another peeled on Monday and they repaired it free. Now it is one week later and 2 more have peeled off. I will never go back. I have wasted my time getting repairs that should never have needed to be done. I am going to another salon today to get them all redone. 30 dollars and 6 dollar tip wasted!!! Don't go! read more

I've never actually written a review but this was the most ridiculous nail experience ever. I was pressed for time and needed my nails done that day for a wedding I had to attend the next day, so I went with the closest nail salon instead of my usual place. Now going into this I knew my mani pedi was going to be slightly expensive since I always do Gel on my toes and nails, but if I knew I was going to pay $85 I would've just not done my nails at all. The process was fine, really no complaints there: the staff was very friendly and kind. However, one hour after I left, I looked down to my toes and realized three toes on my left foot were completely unpainted! I was certain they were painted at the salon, I looked inside my shoe I had just taken off and saw the coats of paint right there in my shoes! The coat of paint came clean off!!! Remember, I did GEL!! I went in the next day before I left for my wedding and they very kindly repainted my toes, thankfully. However 2 hours later, I looked back down to check on them and realized the other two toes on my left foot now had no paint and three toes on my right foot had no paint. I'm addition my finger nails began to chip that very day too. For $85 Gel I expected this mani pedi to be the best one I have ever had. Unfortunately, it was in every way shape and form the exact opposite. One week after the mani pedi, my nails were all chipped and paint was peeling off constantly. I came in asking for a normal spa pedi with normal polish. The tech name was "Lynn" or I heard them say "Mai" asked if I want to get gel on my toes, I said no thanks , she insist and kept haggling me and trying to up sell me a more expensive service. I just smiled and said no but aggravated. She even cut me . Later that week I had a infection on my little toe where it had been cut. I've been to the other nail art on Cleveland ave and had wonderful service , thought this was the same . Would never go to this location again. I liked, loved, my nails for the first week. but I must say that he put the acrylic fairly far from my cuticle, which made them already look old. they were beautiful but very thick and some seemed uneven. the man seemed a little mad and was not very friendly either. every one else there seemed really nice and were very talkative with there clients, but not him. after about two weeks four of my nails had fallen off without warning and I didn't do anything to make them fall off. it seems like I could've bought a pack of fake glue on nails at Walmart instead of spending $40 on these. I needed my nails filled after they started lifting so I walk in and preceded to wait after informing the gal that I didn't want a man doing my nails due to a horrible job done at the nail art near Perkins on Cleveland Ave. After noting that the one male there was not creepy looking and seeing that he had done a good job on his previous client I told her he could do my nails. So I sat down and he proceeded to file my nails down then they told me to move to the female techs table so I did, after telling her how I wanted my nails done and that I had never had my nails lift before and that the guy at another nail art salon had sores all over his hands and kept sniffling was the one who did my nails and was the reason why I never wanted a male to do my nails anymore, she then asked me what salon had done them so I told her and she forcefully pushed my hand away and said that was her husband and refused to finish my nails, I was mortified and jumped out of my chair prepared to just walk out with unfinished sharp nails but the owner/manager came over and tried to calm me down while at the same time talking in Korean to the other techs, she was going to finish my nails but after waiting for several minutes while she tended to other business I decided I had had enough of this place and the unprofessional people who worked there. This is America and our language is English and those are the salons I will be seeking out as I don't appreciate being spoken about behind my back in a language I do not understand. I will NEVER step foot inside another Nail Art Salon again! read more
