Made an appointment for 5:30 on a Thursday, the week prior, with no issues. I did a gel mani and regular pedi. They weren't too busy at the time so as someone was doing my pedicure, another person was doing my nails in the pedicure chair. It was a bit uncomfortable because I had to keep reaching my arm over but I will admit, it was very efficient. I was in and out in probably about 45 minutes and I kind of appreciate that. I'm happy with the results. I wanted to do almond shape and my nails were a bit too short, but they still did what they could. Tip - plenty of street parking since it's located in a residential neighborhood. read more

They earned their 5 stars! These gals are super hard working! My girl, Johanna, is the best technician for my needs. I require time and detail and she has never disappointed. I can challenge her with any design and she will go above and beyond to make my vision come to life! The place itself is beautiful and clean. Everyone is super helpful. Still have a plethora of colors and will swatch anything on their own nails or yours if you can't decide from their catalogs. Don't like? No problem they will take it off and go with another color. They have all the fun nail charms, stones, glitter, tools, etc. I'm certain you can bring your own embellishments and they will make it work! I will not go anywhere else for my tips. I only came here for gel removal. They were super nice and accommodating as I did a walk in and they were able to take me right away. I called in advanced and was told gel nail removal was $10 but surprisingly when I was done in person they told me it was $5. Wins for me! I did take two stars off because I ended up with rings of fire where they e-filed my nails too thin and I ended up with breakage and both thumb nails cracking in the middle of the nail horizontally. Would not come back unfortunately. read more

Ive come here for pedicures a few times and I will continue to come back. They take reservations. Street parking. Ive always liked the way my nails come out.. If you pay cash, it is a bit cheaper, not sure if it is because it has to be a certain amount for credit. read more

I was able to get a same day appointment for a pedicure. The shop is clean and has a nice decor. My service was decent, it was the fastest pedi I've ever gotten and very no frills for the price. Overall felt very rushed, maybe bc I was a same day appointment? But I felt the price is a bit high for the overall service I got. read more

This was my first time at this salon and it won't be my last. I will definitely keep coming back because not only were they nice but their work was amazing. They take their time and don't rush their work and you can see that in the final result. Also they have a many different cute colors that you don't normally see. Overall great experience. Tip: they don't have an atm and no tip on card so bring cash for tip. read more

Well, this is unfortunate. Went back because I really loved this place, brought my sister with me my second time around and it was barely a week in and my sisters nails are disastrous. The day of (Wednesday 7/11) her nails were gorgeous I was super jealous. That Friday (7/13) her design fell off. Come Tuesday (7/17) her nails turned brown! Like nasty looking brown. Unfortunate to say but I will no longer be coming here. Went for a gel manicure and pedicure today and I was not disappointed. The women there are super friendly. I had a gel manicure with a design and a regular pedicure and it came to 50. Ive gone to other places had the same thing done with no design and paid 75. (Didnt go back) love love this spot though. Definitely coming I called to book an appointment and no one picked up. A couple minutes later I received a call back with the woman apologizing for missing the call. I haven't been here yet but super excited for my appointment. read more

I usually go to Garden Nails in North Arlington but they are closed on Mondays and I needed to get a gel mani and spa pedicure before my red light flight so I decided to come here. Although the ladies were very nice it was the weirdest spa pedicure I ever got. Spa pedicures usually consists of about an hour long with at least a minute massage including hot stones and paraffin but this one was odd all around. As soon as I sat in the pedicure chair she put did the sugar scrub then rinsed it off and put on the cream with warm towels and then did my cuticles, have that she did a callus scrub which was not very good and then she wiped the cream off and put on the clay and wrapped my legs in it. She scrubbed my feet for two seconds but didn't even put soap on the scrub. Then she rinsed off the green cray with the water. She took a FaceTime call from her kid while she massaged the lotion which lasted no longer than 5 minutes. The pedicure order was completely wrong and I was normally considering I paid $50 for it. The place I got to on weekly basis does the spa pedicures perfectly and always uses a timer for the massages. I was not happy with the pedicure at all. The manicure was also strange. The manicurist did not seem like she has been doing this for a long time. She filed my nails in a weird way and also the way the nails were painted and but inside the UV light to dry was strange. I think the girls need better training in how to give a real spa pedicure. For what I got the pedicure shouldn't have been more then $30. I will not be going here again. read more

Avoid! A pedicure shouldn't hurt. My toe is extremely inflamed from my cuticles being ripped out. There are too many nail salons out there to have to be in pain the next day. read more

This was my first time here and I'm super happy. Not too many salons are open by me on Sundays, so I was happy to call ahead and make my appointment same day. There isn't a parking lot, but street parking isn't too bad. I was seen right away for a pedicure and gel manicure ($45). Massage chairs, sugar scrub, callus gel wrap, hot towels, hot stones, foot massage and lotion make you feel baby smooth by the time they're done. I picked a pink (blushing bride) that was too light for me, so my pedicurist grabbed 6 other pinks similar to my original pink for me to adjust my choice, which I thought was sweet. They also did my gel manicure at the same time as my pedicure, so I was in and out in under an hour. They also used hot towels, a sugar scrub, lotion, and hand massage for your manicure. I had Glendis for my manicure and she was wonderful. She paid very close attention to detail to make sure I was happy with the services. Everyone in the salon was super friendly and welcoming. They have a big color spectrum to choose from, and take credit card! Make sure you have cash to leave a tip! I don't remember there being an ATM in the salon. I was really happy with my results and will be coming back for sure. read more

While working in the NJ area for a couple of weeks, I called Lyndhurst Nails to see if I could get an appointment for a pedicure on a Sunday. They fit me in immediately, despite being one of the few salons open on Sunday. The salon was pretty basic decor-wise but they had a good selection of polish colors, and I was able to find the regular OPI polish color that matched my existing gel manicure. The pedicure was pretty standard - working on trimming cuticles and smoothing/softening callouses. They did a good job and let me sit afterward to let my polish cure fully so I could put my fuzzy slippers back on without messing up the polish. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll drop back in here for services again. read more

I'm from Nutley - which has A LOT of nail salons, but none that I really love. After reading great reviews on Lyndhurst Nails, I decided to check it out and it completely exceeded my expectations! There was a lot of street parking available when I went (on a Sunday at 3pm), and all the workers were very welcoming and friendly. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure for $45 - which is a STEAL in this area. The woman who did my nails (I believe it was Ashley) did an amazing job. The women who did mine and my friend's pedicures were so helpful - they went out of their way to find the colors that matched our manicures (even testing out the color on their own painted nails, which I thought was so sweet). I'm so beyond happy I found this little gem of a nail salon. The place is beyond clean, the girls who work there are extremely nice and do their job well. This is my first time visiting and I can say with 1000000000% confidence it won't be my last. They do everything by appointments here which I absolutely love. There was a steady pace of people coming and going the whole time I was there but it was never crowded. People weren't sitting around waiting to be seen which as you know is a rarity for nail salons. I had a basic pedicure then got a full set of UV Gel nails and I absolutely loved both services I received. The pedicure was the right amount of quickness but it wasn't rushed. I really enjoyed the hot stones they use while finishing up the pedicure. They have a great selection of colors to pick from so you don't feel like you have to keep getting the same basic colors over and over. I've already made my return appointment but this time I'm doing a spa pedicure which I was informed is an hour long for $40! My feet will be in heaven. read more

Wow. I am so glad I stumbled upon this place. Found them through Yelp and I am not disappointed at all. I will definitely be returning back! Great color selection and very clean. When you get a pedicure they use hot stones.. huge plus. I've tried many nail salons that were okay.. but this one was amazing. You get what you pay for. My salon was so booked and I was desperate so I tried this place plus prices seemed reasonable. The reviews also seems to be good so I took a chance. I got a mediocre gel fill in. The gel did not last more than a week. The color turned a bit yellow too. Oh well, maybe they use different stuff but my gels usually stay on for 2 weeks minimum no problems. read more

I love love love this salon. All the woman are so lovely and polite. Glendy always does the most amazing job with my gel manicure and always checks in with me to make sure I am happy with the way my nails are coming out. They have a great selection or colors and brands and the salon is always kept clean. They are also super accommodating and flexible with the scheduling and most of the time are able to fit you at the time you'd like. And they actually see you at your appointment time. They were able to make me an appointment for the same day so called which was nice and my nails came out good. The actual salon just doesn't seem that clean. They did have plastic guards on the nail table but, that was the only thing that was covid friendly. Some tools were rusty and I'm not sure if they cleaned all the surfaces people are on. They get the job done for a decent price. Id only recommend them for gel manicures. And I wouldn't get a light color unless you plan on coming back in less than 2 weeks. The light colors turn black after a while I'm not sure why. Also if you get an acrylic fill or any acrylic work the nails lift in less than one week. Pedicures are good though. The customer service is great. They stick to appointments unlike other salons that I have been to. Technicians are eager to please, helpful, and skilled. I usually get a regular pedicure and gel manicure and I have never been disappointed in over 2 years. The salon is clean and have many polishes to select from. Street parking is easy. I seen the pictures and review and gave it a shot and i have to say i am not disappointed. its my second time going there and i have to say the prices are great and their work is impeccable. the first time i came in i wanted stones on every finger and not one stone fell for the stretchy weeks that i had the nails. making an APPOINTMENT is definitely a MUST!!! they are so good that its always busy. Also they wrap the foot sink with plastic which is a must for me. so if you do go enjoy. you will definitely be leaving with gorgeous nails. read more

This place was a great find. Initially I was looking for a nail salon that was open on Sundays and it just so happens they are. The only downside is that the parking is kind of dicey and you have to call ahead to make an appointment. Ashley ended up doing my nails, she is phenomenal this time around she did my nails and my pedicure and did a fabulous job as always. I had an interesting experience here with one of the girls presumptupusly including a tip for herself and another girl in the price that she quoted to me when I asked how much. I did not get her name, but made sure to get their names this time around and I remember exactly who it was...be mindful of the prices beforehand and ask the owner, Ashley yourself. They are fast workers which can be great, but then also not....Laura did an amazing job with my pedicure, but Lisette's gel manicure was done extremely fast which to my fault, I noticed, but did not say anything.....I liked my manicure the first day, but then polish starting chipping which should not happen with a gel manicure. I don't have time to get it fixed since I am going out of town, however more time can be taken to ensure that the gel is set and dried properly. Being that Lisette is also the aforementioned girl, I will probably request that someone else do my nails. I will try again.. read more

Before hearing about this place thra friend, I had gone to other nail places and their color collections weren't the best and gel manicures wouldn't last me a week--- this place will not let you down. Service: I got a gel mani, regular pedi, and had gel nail polish on my fingers to remove. My appointment was 5:15, I was taken at about 5:20, and I got out of there about 6:55. Experience: I got there at 5:14 and just had a 5 minute wait until they were ready for me. In the meantime, I chose my color (Sweet Apricot). My nail tech was Kristi and she couldn't have been nicer. She took her time with the pedicure and manicure and was pleasant throughout it. As a side note, they had the Real Housewives of Rhode Island playing with the sound on which served as the perfect entertainment for the experience. Time will tell if these polishes last and if they do, they've got a new customer!

The salon has WiFi, is very clean, and they have the widest assortment of colors I've seen. As a note, you can pay and tip via Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or cash without an extra fee. I believe they recently started to use a new system to schedule appointments. I called for my appointment and got a text confirmation as several of their options were only in Spanish so I wanted to make sure they were clear on what I was coming in for. I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure and I think they did a great job on both. The pedicure involved an optional cut and file, a leg scrub, cream, cuticle care with general nail cleaning, foot scrub, oil, astringent spray, hot towel, hot stones, and painting. The pedicure chair gave a nice massage and was clearly well maintained. They soaked off my old nail gel and cleaned up my nails for me as well as applied a scrub and lotion along with painting my fingernails. I think she just recognized me and realized I had my appointment. i've been going here for a couple months now and I haven't found a reason to stop coming. They do a great gel manicure and pedicure. I've never had a single ingrown nail never had a single infection or a problem. My nails are always done in a timely manner and done at exactly pretty much how I ask. I love all the women who work here they're all so great!!!

Layout, design, dryers; all the same as I remember. I went after lunch so was able to be seated quickly for my pedicure [ that's a plus ]. The chair I was in, as the others around me, definitely showed signs of major wear. The buttons for the massage remote were worn down. It worked though so that's easily overlooked. The lady who took care of me did a beautiful job. She took her time, never hurt me, gave a decent massage and painted my nails near perfectly. I would give her 4 stars, taking one off for there being paint on my skin. Overall, if she was working at another salon, I would definitely go back to her. My issue came with the price and fee. I was shocked to see that a regular pedicure was $31. I pay $43 at my usual place and with that, I get a sugar scrub, moisture mask, paraffin, and 15-minute foot massage with hot stones. The pedicure at Turning Point was your standard pedicure - no perks - with exception to the stones. I gave my debit card to the woman, and she told me it was $31. I asked if she could add a tip and she told me it would be $2 for taxes. There is a sign on the wall that says if you charge a tip, there is a $2 fee. I told her to add $8 which then would bring my total to $41. Not sure where those taxes are included in that total, but the math isn't mathing. I'm all for paying an extra fee with a credit card but most places don't charge for a debit. I don't see myself going back. It wasn't worth the cost.
