This salon is a convenient location to down-town, and I was able to walk in without an appointment and did not have to wait. They did charge $5 extra for OPI polish... but there were no other brands like Essie or CND on the polish cart so I had no option but to choose OPI and pay that extra fee. Most of the tools were taken from a new pack, though some tools did not appear to be sanitized which is not ideal. The salon was overall clean, but older so did not feel as spotless. The manicure was well done, but was a bit on the pricier side.

They took extra long two people had to work on my nails when applying jewls she was basically a beginner practicing on something i had to pay for TOOK TWO HOURS FOR A FULL SET !!!!! Price was great for what i got done but a day later all my jewls fell of because they where not put on correctly my nails would look HORRIBLE if i did not watch her the entire time the finishing look was great but after i left it messed up

I used to go to this salon a lot but for the past few months I've slowed down. About six months ago I got my nails done and they were uneven and the lady that did my nails made the side of my fingernail bleed and didn't care much at all. (Sorry I cannot find the pics for that right now.) Not only that but my sister also tagged along and they did the same thing to her also. Which the hand no reasoning too so that was uncalled for. Just a few days back I went there to get my eyebrows done. Now mind you for my eyebrows, I had stopped going here and I went to a salon on Avon. They're more expensive but it's worth it! But sadly a few days ago like I stated above...I went here to get my eyebrows waxed. To summarize it all they messed up my eyebrows really bad and had really bad customer service. They waxed, plucked, and trimmed way too much of my eyebrows off first off. One eyebrow had a big arch and the other one was still somewhat straight and thick. After asked her to fix it I got my other eyebrow ripped off. I noticed once the gap in the middle of my eyebrow was entirely too wide. It ended with 4-5 people rushing in there and talking really loud and doing entirely too much. Oh and also customers looking at my eyebrows and commenting about them not getting their eyebrows done here again. Cheaper isn't always better folks! Overall I suggest you NOT to go here. Sorry, Ik this was really long but it's worth it!

Great service for manicures, very quick, and free parking. I just walked in and was taken care of within minutes.

I visited Love Face & Body Spa (bought & rebranded) for the first time yesterday for a facial. I…read moreoriginally had booked the Advanced Renewal facial but my esthetician Kayelyn actually said I didn't need that exact facial because my skin is still young as I'm not yet in my 30s. She instead recommended I do the YonKa dry skin facial which is actually cheaper than what I originally booked. I love that she picked what would be best for my skin without trying to upsell a more expensive facial. I'm not well versed in skin care so I really liked that Kayelyn walked me through everything she was doing and the reasons why. Most times you just lay there in silence and while I do like sometimes to just relax and fall asleep, I really appreciated the skin care education and I was still able to relax as well. But I feel like I have a better idea of what my skin needs and how I can achieve it. The only reason I'm rating this 4.5/5 stars is because I normally like some lip care during my facials and this was lacking that. I really liked the essential oil toner she used and ended up purchasing it afterwards. The scent is heavenly and made my skin feel great. I normally don't purchase skin care products after my facials but I really liked the YonKa brand products she used on my face. You should definitely head over to Love Face & Body Spa and have Kayelyn give you a facial! You won't regret it.

However, I was really disappointed with my most recent experience. I heard there was new management, so perhaps that was reason. I showed up on time, but due to a number of people checking out and checking in, I settled into my room more than 10 minutes late. My massage was actually really good, but it ended more than 10 minutes early - which ultimately 20 minutes shorter than I paid for in total, given the late start. I was also charged $30 more for my massage than the rate published online ($140 for a 90 min massage). My friend went for a facial a week before me and said that her service ended more than 10 minutes early too. Overall, good massage but felt ripped off given I was overcharged $30 and the massage was cut short by ~25%. Will not be returning and for those of you who go - be really explicit on the timing / duration of your service.

If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would…read more This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I went in just to get my acrylics removed and a regular manicure. The machine they had me use to soak off the nails was absolutely disgusting -- it was covered in other people's nail dust and had an old, dirty paper towel in it. When the technician started applying the top coat, the polish began to smear and bubble. She and another employee started talking back and forth (clearly confused about whether it was gel or regular polish), but she left it as-is and told me to sit with the fans on my hands for over 20 minutes. When she finally came back, she looked at my nails and said, "Oh, this is gel!" At that point, she aggressively removed everything and told me to wash my hands. I told her I didn't want any polish at all after that mess. When I came back, she didn't even let me sit before rushing to put cuticle oil on--while there was still polish all around my cuticles. I asked her to please remove it, which she did, but then hurried me off like I was an inconvenience. After nearly two hours, I was charged $35 for this experience. One of the younger staff members claimed she "took $15 off," but I left on the verge of tears -- I'm not confrontational, and I just wanted to leave. My nails looked terrible, my skin was red, and I didn't even get an apology. Absolutely awful service, unsanitary equipment, and no accountability. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.
