They took way too long to get it together. I walked in at 2:56pm and requested a pedicure and full set, I thought I was seated at a pedicure chair for service for both. At 3:35pm they really just got my pedicure going and they still neglected to send someone over to start my full set. I asked multiple times for someone to start my full set but they kept saying "someone is coming". I saw plenty of salon workers standing around. Finally they admitted the guy they wanted to do my nails was eating. Meanwhile, customers coming in after me were already being serviced for both nails and toes all around me. The only reason I am giving 2 stars at all is for the guy that did my pedicure. He was extremely polite and nice through my frustration with his manager and co-workers. It's sad this was my first experience here but I won't be back. read more

I'm in here right now. I walked in with a nude color on my toes that I had done here 5 weeks ago. The last service was excellent that's why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. I came in on a slow day, it's Thursday afternoon at a slow time 2:00 pm. WHY IS SHE RUSHING ME??? I wanted to get the same color I already have. I looked for it but I guess I was taking too long she said I have for you. OK. So I sit and put my feet in the water. She wants to take my polish off I stop her. I say I want this same color. She says I have for you. I'm like WHERE she gives me the sample with a thousand colors. Lady. Find me this color, you work here and I tip big. I find a color that looks close. A nude. She brings back a pink. She keeps bringing me pink. I keep saying I don't want pink. I only speak English I don't know how else to say it. Now she has taken off the color I want and is putting pink on my toes and I have to yell I DONT WANT PINK. Now she can't find the color cause she taken it off. I tell her just do white and it looks OK but it's not what I wanted. Note to managers, listen to your customers. I won't be back. read more

Hate I have to give one star. When they first opened, service was great. Now it's horrible. I went a few weeks ago since I couldn't get to my other nail shop and boy have things changed. I told the guy I wanted SNS. He started drilling my nail bed and it was painful. I told him to stop and just soak the SNS off like my other salon did. He insisted on drilling. After I angrily told him no and that it was hurting my nail bed, he copped an attitude and sarcastically said oh it hurts? He then changed the file and soaked like I requested. Then he insisted on gel instead of SNS. After I finally said ok, my nails were just ok and the polish barely lasted a week. As far as the pedicure, he was mediocre and I was over it. When I went to pay, I was told a price way higher than the tech said for gel. I told them no, I was told something different and they said this was the correct price. I paid and left. Went back to my normal spot and found out he added thick acrylic to my nails and it took forever to remove. Do not go to this nail shop!! I should have looked at the other reviews saying how bad this place has gotten. NEVER AGAIN! read more

The decor of the salon is very nice. Not like others where they try to cram as many stations in as possible. I was very impressed with the service I received from Amy. I made a 6:30 appointment, got there a few minutes early and she took me right away. She was done by 7 but she didn't rush and did a very neat job. I will be back. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that I prefer when they use the plastic bags in the pedicure chairs. I still may try them for a pedi next time. read more

Driving on Hwy 20 and happened to see the sign for the "Nail Care Spa", as I had started to become disillusioned with the salon that I was going to, (the 3rd one since I arrived in GA), I figured I'd go take a look at what they had to offer. Slowly driving by, I was grabbed by their "WINTER SPECIAL" and after quickly scanning the storefront...parked and figured I'd go in and at least check them out. The decor is "UPSCALE" with granite-topped work stations at the front, four (at least 52") LED TV's encased in a tiled 'frame' on the wall; and at least 8 pedicure chairs. In the back of the salon is where they do waxing, facials, massages, and other services. I was greeted by "V" who walked me through the different services they offered and even gave me the brochures that detailed their service. After sharing with her that I wanted to have the set of Gel Nails I had on taken off and a new set put on, she asked if I wanted a pedicure. I wanted one, but as I had on skinny jeans, it wasn't going to work. "V" let me know that I wasn't the first person to have that issue, and offered me a towel in which to stay "modest", (I'm a size 16 and the towel that was offered wrapped around me quite well.) She introduced me to Lanny, (who would be doing my nails) and Linda (who would be doing my pedicure) simultaneously. After being seated, Linda inquired as to whether I wanted anything to drink, and provided me a full-sized bottle water, that was being kept chilled in wine fridge. The service, from start to finish, was impeccable. Linda took her time working on my feet and when it was all done, they were tingling, (I had taken advantage of the Winter Special for the DELUXE PEDICURE, which is normally $35) I tried their Diamond overlay, and although it was about $5 more expensive than the Gels, I like it as their is no need for using the drill to file the nail. All-in-all, I enjoyed myself here and although they are just a tad bit more expensive than I was used to paying when I lived in DC, and nominal to what I've been paying since I got here, I will definitely take the 20 minute drive from Covington based on my initial experience with them. read more

Unfortunately this place has gone down considerably. I have been coming here over the years and can notice the talent and technique decrease while the prices increase. I was quoted one price but went to the counter and it was another. They acknowledged he tech said one price but would not honor flat out. Even suggested I take the gel off but they would not lower. I've been going to the same nail spot in Conyers for ages now & recently the service hasn't been so fantastic so I decided to give this place a try. I've been twice now and genuinely enjoyed my experience. The salon itself is beautiful inside and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The wait isn't terribly long even when they are busy. Lin does my nails and she is truly good at what she does. She takes her time and the end results are beautiful. I would definitely ask for her by name if your looking for an amazing manicure. As for the price they are about average compared to other salons in town. read more

Awful nail salon & technicians. I've tried this place twice and both times they've cut my nail beds so badly that they bleed. The most recent time, I also got an infection in the cuticles of 3 different fingers. The SNS polish was also not applied correctly, so two days after I spent $38 on my manicure alone, they're all cracking and peeling off. Been going to Julie for years. Called and booked appts for my last two appts to arrive then be told that the appts had not been booked. Then no concession made to accommodate me as a long time customer. The first time it happened she rescheduled me for the next day but the second consecutive time it occurred. I declined the offer to do one service as I was told that she was overbooked and could not do both my mani and pedi at this time. Awful service and the manager didnt want to redo the nails even though they did a horrible job. I first visited this spa about two years ago. At the time I was extremely impressed for a few reasons: (1) the expediency in which I was served; (2) the mini chair massages after the spa treatment; (3) the ambience; and (4) the number of staff that were on hand to service the public. For a while I was faithful. However, as time went on I noticed that the spa was frequently overcrowded and although the company advertised opening hours as one time, it would open earlier to accommodate clients who had arrived earlier than the stated times. The last couple of times that I visited this spa were the worst ever. On one occasion, I arrived a few minutes earlier than opening time and noticed that the salon was open with customers already poised for nail and spa treatments. I followed protocol and was overlooked not once, but twice. These clients did not have appointments. I was seething at this point and mentioned to the staff person that I had been waiting for a few minutes and two people who had come in after me were immediately motioned to a chair. The staff offered little to no explanation, however, in this case I got an apology. I was too upset and immediately left to take my business elsewhere vowing to never return. While I was still a little salty from this experience, I decided to give the spa another try. It was Mother's Day weekend and since I had a very busy day with my family and friends the Saturday prior, I decided to revisit this spa because they were one of the few shops in my area that opened early. I was even proactive and made an appointment on the Friday before for Manny, who was the last technician that worked on my nails and pedicure. On my last visit, he had insisted that I take his card and make an appointment, requesting him specifically for my next appointment. Thus I did just that. BIG MISTAKE. Once again I arrived a few minutes before 9:00 to find the shop opened prematurely with a full crowd. After a few minutes of waiting (past my appointment time), I motioned to the front desk staff that I had an appointment w/Manny at 9:00 a.m. I waited still another five minutes to finally hear from Manny that he was knee deep with another client. I was furious. The only thing he could do was nod and shake his head. I asked for a manager, but of course, there was no manager for me to speak to. Not one person in the spa was willing to offer me any recourse to make the situation right. They were all too busy taking advantage of an eager crowd. The main goal of this shop was not to provide a good customer experience, but to make as much money as people were willing to pay. This is not okay for me. I am so tired of paying for poor customer service. Cultural barriers are not an excuse!!!! If I were to travel to another country to establish a business, you better believe I would have to play by their rules whatever they might be. I will no longer excuse or support sub-standard service, no matter how badly I want or need it. My money is my money and I have a right to request and receive good service!!! This is the last time that I will ever visit this spa. read more

I left my previous nail salon to come here. The first 2 times were awesome, good customer service, Tim did my nails good and I was glad I switched. The 3rd time I went my 3 nails lifted up after one week. Scheduled an appt for the 4 visit and when I walked in Tim had scheduled someone else at the same time. Now this wasn't the big problem, I understand things happen but the rudeness and unwillingness to try and fix it was very unprofessional. The manager was very accommodating and David did my nails. I am currently looking elsewhere for another salon because I've talked to 4 other people and their nails are lifting after a week as well and they aren't returning either (they been going there a lot longer than me) read more

I've been here three times so far and I'm in love. I get SNS nails and normally upgrade to the deluxe pedicure. I never have to wait during the week and might have a 5-10 min wait on the weekends. The service is great and they have a great selection of SNS colors. They also use good quality polishes like Essie and OPI. They're a bit more pricey than the other salons in the area, but they are worth it. I think I'm going to stick with this salon. read more

I have been coming here since December. No complaints. I come here every 2 weeks. The man completely butchered my nails. The lady that originally did them scheduled an appointment for me to come back the next day for 130. It is 144 and I am still sitting here. I didnt plan to spend my entire day here. If you know that you have an appointment at 130 then make sure you are available. I am not sure that i will be coming back here. My pedicure turned out great though. read more

Love the decor. Nail technician did a very nice job with my full set of acrylic nails. Employees have excellent customer service and were very appreciative of positive feedback. You can defiantly tell they value your business and are eager to exceed your expectations. I also had my eyebrows waxed, which was actually quite enjoyable. Aesthetician's hands were clean as well as soothingly fragrant. With this being my first time experiencing this salon, overall I am happy with the service provided. This use to be my favorite nail salon a few years ago but I recently moved causing me to find another shop-- but since I was out that way I just "had to" stop by and get my nails and feet done. Unfortunately I was deeply disappointed ! They have expanded their business and raised their prices, which is fine if you can provide great service but this was not the case. I received the "deluxe" pedi and it literally lasted 10 minutes. The next thing I know she was emptying the water. After she painted my toes I looked at the time and 22 min had passed by from start to finish. The massage was very basic, rushed and she wasn't attentive due to watching the soccer game. Now my SNS mani service was $35 and even worse. I had to tell her numerous times the color that I wanted bc she didn't want to get the SNS display and kept trying to guess the color. Finally she finished my nails but my cuticles were still thick and nasty looking and I had hang nails and residue under my nails. When I questioned her about this she stated that it would've been $5 more dollars to add this service and that she thought I would complain about the price!! What?! So I had pretty SNS nails but ugly nail beds and hang nails. I added the service but was Unsatisfied by the entire experience especially with the up-charge. I have been going to this nail spa for some time. and always getting same color-- a muted professional gel tint. Last week after finishing my fill in the technician was unable to find my color. He said they were out . We tried to choose something similar but after a few days I realize I hate this Pepto Bismol tint. When I went back today they advised to get another nail color it would be $23! That is ridiculous and poor customer service since they were out of color supply ... and they still are out . I have spent a ton of money here and tip generously but I will just take my business elsewhere. They will lose $200 a month for $23 bucks smh read more

I arrived at salon and felt they were rushing me. Could not find the color I wanted. Some polish looked old and had seperated. Pedicure and manicure. Pedicure was great. Manicure was HORRIBLE. The woman who did my manicure barely glanced at me. She Jabbered constantly to the guy doing my pedicure. Never shut up. Kept pulling my arm across my body because she was too far away. Shoulder started hurting. She did not trim cuticles or anything. A couple of swipes with emory board and she sarted painting my nails with wrong color. I said stop. She left my side and I told manager to take manicure off my bill. He did make it right by getting another technician who gave me a decent manicure. Need better training. read more

I went to NCS on 6/18/16. I have been looking for a nail salon since moving to Conyers and may finally have found it. The gentleman who did my deluxe pedicure did an excellent job and I will go back and ask for him. He was very patient with me and had to repaint my big toe twice. Wore the wrong flip flops, they were too big and I kept messing up my big toe because of the way I was having to grip the shoe to keep it on. The lady that did my manicure did a good job as well. I asked for the gel nail polish and it still looks just like it did almost two weeks ago when she finished it. The place is very busy. I believe there are 16 pedicure chairs if I didn't miscount them. But I did not have to wait even for a Saturday. I will be going back only because I want to change the polish color. read more

The technicians here are horrible. I tried the sns nail technique and loved it until 2 days later my nails began to crack! 3 on each hand looked as if I had the crackle nail polish and I did not! I went back to the salon and had 6 nails repaired. Less than 2 weeks later, my nails were chipped, peeling, cracked and looked absolutely awful. I decided to give them one more chance so I went back this past Saturday (today is Tuesday). AGAIN, the polish/powder is peeling off- ive noticed my nails are different lengths and look awful once again. I will never go back to this salon again! read more

If I could give it ZERO stars I would. I just relocated from NC, and chose this place because it's the only one I could find that does liquid gel. I came as a walkin on yesterday for liquid gel fill in and pedicure. Although my pedicure was lovely, the idea and fact that the manicurist tried to convince me to choose an $85 pedicure was ridiculous. As my toes were drying, the manager tells me that the ONLY employee who does liquid gel was ready to go home and asked if I could come back tomorrow (today). So because I'm understanding, I said ok, let's make an appointment. The manager and employee made my appointment for 1 PM. I called at 12:45 to let them know I was running 10 mins late, the manager says that's fine we will see yu soon. I get here and the manager tells me "im so sorry she not show up" . So I asked if he could call her, to find out what time she can be here as I don't mind waiting. He says that he doesn't have her cell #. So at this point I'm heated. So I'm explaining my issue to the manager and he talks ALL over me. Never in my life will I come back here and I don't recommend anyone else. Their customer service is HORRIBLE! read more
