I am very insecure about one of my toenails and she made sure to get it just right for me and didn't make me feel like I was crazy or like I just couldn't see that my nail had been crooked. I had been going to other shops in the area trying to find a shop I could consistently go to and find somebody I could trust with my self care because we all know that's the whole point of going to get a pedicure in the first place. The prices are not unreasonable. I had a spa pedicure with gel for $75 and it wasn't just a spa pedicure with an extended time for a massage and some scrub... I mean Elena really got in there did a special technique with a hot towel, hot stones, scrub, amazing massage, and was very precise with the gel on my nails. I made sure to tip her well because she deserved it as I sat and watched Cassandra take care of a gentleman, and although her English isn't very good, she is eager to learn and was trying her best to hold a conversation with him, I could tell he was a difficult personality to deal with. She was very polite and it was admirable to watch her make this grumpy old man smile. :) read more

I came in asking for a regular full set of acrylic nails, but there was a clear miscommunication from the start. I was seated and the service began, but it turned out they were doing a basic manicure instead. About halfway through, I was told I needed to pay before polish, which confused me, especially since I hadn't received the acrylic set I originally asked for. At that point, I found out they don't even offer acrylic nails. This should have been communicated upfront before starting any service. Despite the misunderstanding, I was still charged for the full manicure experience and my eyebrow service. I felt stuck in the moment and went along with it, but I don't think it was handled fairly. A little flexibility or willingness to meet the customer halfway would have gone a long way. Clear communication and customer service matter, and unfortunately this experience fell short. read more

AWFUL!!! We made an appointment for the 22 dollar manicure that we were then told was 25. They do not soak your nails at all or get dirt from underneath! They rush the entire time which was crazy as they had 4 workers and I was the only one there! As they began to paint my nails they said that the card machine was down so they could only take cash for my service wish was literally cuticles and paint! Luckily my 20 yr old daughter was with me and went to pull cash! Although this was not easy due to the construction! The entire time the women are giving dirty looks and talking trash worst part top of my paint chipping very next day! I now know why it was so empty !!! LOL read more

I came to this salon to get a previous acrylic full set trimmed from a different salon. I walked in and I was immediately told "we are busy" and there wasn't any space for me. they where discriminating against me. they didn't even listen to me over what I needed, and none of them looked me in the eye. I asked them when they would be less busy and they said Tuesday. I called later and asked if they had appointment today and they said "yes we do!". Their excuse when I called them out was "we don't have an acrylic artist" I didn't need an acrylic artist, I needed someone with a drill to trim my nails down. Had a wonderful Spa pedicure and manicure touch-up at Nail City this week. The pedicure was so relaxing and they did a great, meticulous job. The leg mask treatment, parafin wax, and hot stone massage made my feet feel and look great. They were so nice too and didn't rush at all. I had gotten a manicure the prior week at another salon, and the nail polish was already coming off (and some of the nails had chipped), and for a small fee they fixed my nail polish. I was going to pick a similar color to my toes (opaque pink), but the owner said with the shorter nails it would look better with a more clear color, and she suggested a few shades. They also reshaped the nails to a little more round shape. The new color looks so much better and I love my nails so much now! I will definitely go back. read more

Very relaxing environment, and excellent service. Very quickly fit me in for an appointment (required during Covid) and this salon has clearly taken every precaution to ensure the health of their guests. A mask is required for entry, and they immediately take your temperature and ask you to wash your hands. There are dividers between the guests and practitioners at every station and the employees are all wearing masks and gloves. Overall, a very clean and enjoyable experience. A touch surprised when I went to pay that the price was $35 for a pedicure instead of $30 like it says on Yelp but other than that it was good. read more

Had no trouble getting a Friday afternoon appointment. $30 spa pedicure includes a hot stone massage of your calves and a 1 minute shoulder massage while your toes are drying. Above average selection of Essie and O.P.I polishes. While those are all positives and the price quite reasonable, the hot stones and shoulder massage are simply a bonus. I'd have preferred a more thorough, yet gentler job on my pedicure. The pushing back of my cuticles was a tad rough and left me worried about injured nail beds. We'll see whether I have white spots when the polish comes off. I also get ingrown big toe nails (thanks, stiletto's) and haven't found anyone in Denver who really gets in there and takes his/her time digging in. First time in here and it was really nice. The girls were very friendly, the chairs are comfortable, and lots of colors to choose from for my toes! I had a regular pedicure which was $30. Jen did a nice job though I think she could have done better with full coverage. I had been going to the nail salon off of Yosemite & Arapahoe (USA Nails, I think) but they have really poor ventilation. This place smells great so it did not make me nauseated to sit in the chair! It wasn't very busy so my friend and I were able to have side-by-side pedis! The $30 option is the cheapest pedicure but they do have a variety to choose from up from there. I noticed a coffee scrub one for $37 and a lemon/citrus scrub for $37 that looked interesting! May have to splurge one of these days! Oh- this place does NOT take credit cards! Most recent set I got has the gel that I was charged an extra $20 for even though they guaranteed the plain polish would stay just fine from the last set and they were chippin the same day... And your silk nail extensions crack & chip... Ultimately it's not worth the extra charges. Nails & Beyond is all over a better location. Cheaper prices AND they offer extensions so you don't have to do acrylic for the gel to stick & they sure as hell won't charge me EACH time when I come in for a reprint due to the first paint job being mediocre. The gentleman who did my gel manicure absolutely ruined my nail beds. He roughly filed them down to such thinness that they hurt. Because he spoke and understood so little English I could not make him understand the damage he was doing. That was over 2 months ago and despite having tried to mitigate the damage by going to other nail technicians, I am still dealing with totally destroyed nails. I came here on a whim as I was in the DTC area and had a couple hours to kill. I found Nail City on Yelp and I must say the only bad part is I don't live closer! This place was fabulous, They took me immediately (granted it was a Monday at 1pm). I only wanted a pedicure and the gal didn't try to upsell me on anything else - thank goodness! That is one of my biggest pet peeves at nail salons is when they try to push more onto you. The experience was super relaxing. My gal was firm without being painful during the foot massage part and was careful around my blisters (I had a couple pretty gnarly ones on the back of my ankles). She also made sure the water and hot stones weren't so hot that I was burned. In addition, everything was super clean. All of the tools were kept in some sort of antiseptic and didn't look like they had been used a thousand times before she was working on me - much appreciated! As I said - I would definitely go back if I lived closer but 30mins is a little too long of a drive for a pedicure. read more

First time here, got a spa pedicure and it was a great experience! Place was clean, pedicure chairs comfortable and chair massage actually worked! Decent polish color selection, half of it OPI. Ladies were pleasant and took their time. I got the silky milk spa pedicure for $40, regular is $30. You get a lot for the regular so not sure I'll upgrade next time- there WILL be a next time! This will likely be my new go-to for my pedicures all summer long! I appreciate their attention detail throughout my time there: baskets by the pedi chairs to put your purse in (not on the floor where water can get it!), quick shoulder massage when they seat you at drying station, and they have a VIP-type card where you get credit for 30% of your visit and once it accrues to $5 or more you can spend it there! read more

This place doesn't have the comfy chairs and the spa interiors I'm used to, but the massage chair worked and the 45 minute spa pedicure was relaxing. What a find! I have been to a few nail salons in the area and this is by far the best one. It's clean, organized, and the service is great. Apparently, this shop has been around for 20 years so it's well-established and has several repeat customers. I was able to just walk-in and get a pedicure appointment. It was pretty busy because it's Mother's Day weekend but they were very attentive. They use O.P.I. products which always work great for me. The tools were right out the package for every guest so I wasn't concerned about getting any weird fungi. The price was pretty comparable to others in the area. They have a loyalty program to give their customers discounts. Parking here can be a little tricky because the lot is pretty small. Overall, I highly recommend this place. read more

This has been the best pedicure I received since moving to Colorado 10 years ago. Sunny was excellent and removed layers of calluses that other shops didn't even try. Despite a relatively busy day, she took her time with the entire process. Her massage skills were fantastic and by the time I got to the polish I could care less what it looked like! However, the polish is beautiful and neat. The store owner was friendly and welcoming. I look forward to future pedicures here. read more

I went into this place very skeptical. Nail salons have never been good to me and it's always a bittersweet experience.. I want my nails done but I hate to go. I called and made an appointment that afternoon. I needed a REBASE(please remember this word for later because that is what I scheduled) because I've moved too far away from the salon I usually go to. I came in and was greeted warmly. Kelly did my nails. She asked if it was my first time there and I said it was. She then explained that they don't use the electric filing machines and do it all by hand! I'm sorry, those buzzing things scare me. Not to mention I already have incredibly thin nails and all that filing down kills them even more. So she started filing, not long after another woman came up, took my other hand and both of them filed! It took much less time. Next she filled in the back, now if you area die hard powder fan this place isn't for you. They use a really cool, not smelly, liquid that they paint on and smooth out. It's faster ( 5 minutes for all of my nails to be done). Now remember when I said remember rebase? After my nails were all filled Kelly spritzed my hands, rolled up my sleeves and applied a scrub (Yes ladies a scrub) to both arms and hands. She massaged it in for a good 2 minutes each and then told me to go wash my hands. At this point I was thoroughly satisfied. But wait! THERE'S MORE! I get back and she again spritzes my hands and then applies this amazing smelling lotion and again massages my arm. Now I have a really large scar from past surgeries along my entire right forearm. She asked if it hurt and if it was OK. When I go in for a rebase. I think they get you in, they fill them, they paint them, they send you on your way. But not this place. They didn't even do the original nails(Let's face it that's where the money is) and they did an amazing job taking care of me. While I was having my nails done a repeat customer came in and had a pedicure. They seemed to be using a really cool buffing tool on her feet that I can't wait to try (They have coffee and Lemon pedicures that smell pretty awesome) When you walk in the place seems pretty quaint. They prefer cash/check but WILL TAKE A CARD!! These ladies were the best, I will go back over and over and over. :) read more

I've been here at least 10 times. The most important thing to me in a nail salon is cleanliness... followed by good service. This nail salon is very clean. All the basins are washed out after each use. The tools are sanitized. The ladies are also very kind and provide an exceptional level of service. I enjoy this business and will continue to return.
