When you walk in, you feel like you just walked into a hole in the wall back alley salon and aren't sure you want to stay. I love that you have the ability to request a certain tech when you check in on the iPad. Ava did my nails tonight and I will absolutely be requesting her again! A man even came out from the back, walked directly past me without saying a word, and went straight to help them--even though I was standing in front of them and they arrived 10 minutes after I did. Please note, I am a Black American. At that point, I calmly asked him why I was being ignored as if I were invisible. He had no explanation. The way I was treated was deeply disrespectful and felt like racial discrimination. No customer should be made to feel overlooked or less important. I didn't catch the tech's name who worked on me, but she was nice and helpful. She didn't indulge in small talk, which was fine with me.
