Three of us waited until finally a stylist came out and checked us in. The stylist I was paired with went over our plan and discussed cutting my hair to just below the shoulder. After washing, she went at it - literally - and I ended up with hair that barely reaches my shoulders. Not at all what we agreed upon. read more

I have seen Kim twice and brought my daughter to see Stevie once. Both are awesome stylists. Stevie is sweet and non-judgmental, but Kim makes me feel very uncomfortable. I'm fat. I'm good with that. When I went to my last appointment, I was wearing a shirt that says, "Beautiful Isn't a Size". Kim greeted me coldly, looked at my shirt and gave me a mocking smirk. She barely talked to me. We sat in silence as she did my highlights. When I went under the dryer, 2 employees came back there, looked at me, started laughing, and ran off. I was the only one back there. I felt so humiliated and judged. While Kim does a beautiful job, I will not support a fat phobic business. Grow up, ladies. We're not in high school anymore. How dare you judge anyone by how they look! Shame on you. I actually cried on my way home, and that is NOT how treating yourself to the salon should feel. read more

I got my hair colored / highlighted it took 6 hrs and I hated it !! I paid $150 and was NOT worth the time or $. I had molly do it . She agreed to fix it but when I went back for my appt she went out the back door or wherever and was not available . I waited 1/2 hr and nobody could find her. Very unprofessional !! They were able to squeeze me in for a pedicure on a Saturday afternoon when I arrived from out of town well overdue for a pedicure. Professional and competent nail techs with quiet semi-private rooms and standard pedicure chairs and tubs that were sanitized. The tech was polite and let me relax quietly. Good selection of polish and scrubs. My one complaint is that the massage was too light for my taste. read more

I went here for a trim and ombré touchup! It's always a little nerve-racking trying a new place, but I couldn't be happier with the results! Ashley did my spa pedicure, and Jackie cut/styled my hair. They each did a fabulous job. ($55 is a bit steep for a spa pedicure, though - compared to what I've paid elsewhere in the nation.) The fumes when I first walked in, too, were overwhelming - I do believe I had an asthmatic fit. But at least I didn't die! read more

Gossipy, catty. This place made me feel like everyone was talking about me, staring. Just not warm and inviting. They call themselves a spa but the pedicure chairs are all in a room so you sit with strangers. Just not a good experience here. I won't be back. read more

A friend and I won the works at this spa as a prize at a race car event years ago when my daughter was getting married. My hair had 3 different colors and a very new style. I got a pedicure, a body contour wrap, massage, facial, and they fed me lunch. I don't know why I left there and didn't look back at the great job all technicians did. When we left there we felt like royalty. I should have scheduled appointments then. After 10 years of bad experiences with mediocre estheticians and hair dressers, I finally got a clue and scheduled appointments at Nail-Issimo for two separate procedures. It was like going home. I got the royal treatment from Brit N., a tall, attractive, slender hair designer who also had a very confident personality. She trimmed my hair exactly the way I asked with no exception. I know from past experience that if my stylist is not attractive and confident, she tends to be a little deviant drama queen with no apologies for disasters. Brit is a mature young lady who takes care of herself, therefore knows how to take care of her clients. The cost was $35, well worth the money. Afterward I went downstairs to meet my esthetician for another procedure. Jacque was another pleasant surprise. I won't tell you what she did, but my visit with her was a delightfully informative which is always a plus for certain procedures. Again, she has an attractive figure which proves that she takes good care of herself. She also believes in natural healing. I consider that a bonus since I believe the same way. Jacque is a true professional with a charming personality which, in turn, sets her clients at ease. I am rating my overall experience at Nail-Issimo as "excellent!" I will continue to use this place and the same ladies for as long as I live in Billings. read more
