Y'all I think I found my new nail salon! I LOVE getting my nails done but am also wary of wasting money at a salon that isn't up to par. I found Nail Lounge & Spa on Yelp and decided to go after work one day (about 5pm on a Monday). Let me start by saying, even while using my GPS I freaking drove past this place THREE times. I was about to give up but I'm glad I didn't! I googled it and it said it was in Sprouts Crossing which was so crazy helpful once I decided I wasn't giving up on finding this place. Once I located Sprouts I saw their sign by the road that said the name -- maybe it's not that hard to find, or maybe it is but there ya go, some directions. The place was (amazingly) not packed and I was seated right away with a complimentary drink and a plethora of gel colors to choose from (they were even handing out Girl Scout cookies!!!!). The guys working there were all super friendly, funny and handsome! Who'd have thought getting your nails done you'd be surrounded my good looking men?? Haha! The guy who did my nails was very thorough trimming my cuticles (he went back twice after initially doing it to ensure they were perfect!). My nails came out perfectly shaped and painted and I loved it! He made sure I was very happy with my nails and ended the experience with a great hand massage. There are tons of stations to get pedicures and manicures and the place looked immaculate. I was happy to see all of the tools he was using on me (including that foam block file thing) came out of a sealed bag to ensure sanitation. I don't know if I've ever been to a place that uses a new nail block on every client. My gel manicure was $32 which I thought was a perfect price for the excellent and relaxing service I received! I will definitely be back for more manicures and to try out pedicures. read more

I have been going to this salon for over a year now and I have never been disappointed! Every time there is amazing customer service and you can really tell that the entire salon cares about you and you experience there. I usually go in for dip nails but I have had pedicures here as well and they are equally amazing! I am a high school student that does a lot of extra curricular's as well and having a job and they have been amazingly accommodating in giving me the opportunity to come in when there finally is time for me to do so. I just moved to Texas and am looking for my new nail salon. Let me tell you that I sure didn't find it at this place. The first time i tried this place, I showed up with an appointment and was ignored while standing at the front desk for 10 minutes. So, I left. The next day, I got a phone call from the manager asking me to give them a second chance. I agreed and made another appointment for the following weekend. I got Kim. She was great. All was forgiven. My third time is happening as we speak. I'm shown to a pedicure lounge chair with what turns out to be the worst pedicurist I've ever experienced. She's treating my feet and legs like inanimate objects. Twisting and turning my ankles, grabbing my legs with her fingernails, massaging my BONES. It's laughable. She is so nice but so horrible at what she does that I was about to ask for someone else. But I didn't want to hurt her feelings. #idiot Kim finally comes over :50 minutes after my scheduled appointment and told me she had no idea I'd made an appointment with her yesterday. The front desk is churning them out and clearly doesn't give a rat's ass about anything but turnover. She was very sweet and felt badly but hey - I don't have 3 hours to spend hanging out in a nail salon. The search goes on for my new nail salon. Overrated. I was in need of a mani/pedi and came across this place here on yelp. The perfect 5 out of 5 star ratings here lured me in and away from my usual place (Kay Nails in Fort Worth) but I wasn't impressed and probably won't go back again. Yeah, this place is new and they're offering 20% off all services right now for their grand opening. The interior is pretty spacious and there are lots of chairs, the staff is friendly.....yadda, yadda, yadda.... ......BUT I went in for a pedicure and my heels look worse now than they did when I went in. I go without shoes quite a bit around my house and I wear flip flops the rest of the time, so my heels can get kinda funky (if I let them). HOWEVER, I get regular pedicures and I take care of myself. I went in here yesterday and upgraded my pedicure to the Mandarin Honey one (the extra ten bucks for the upgrade from the standard pedicure is not worth it at all) - and no kidding - my heels are far worse than they were before I went in here. The lady used one of those cheese grater things and tore my heels up. The lotion she put on was not very moisturizing. She didn't even buff my toe nails until I reminded her and even then it was half ass effort, so they weren't as smooth as they should be. Anyway, the pedicure was yesterday and today my heels look the worst they've ever looked. They're dry and flaky looking. I didn't go in like this and I'm pretty sure they weren't this bad even in the winter time when I dropped down to getting pedicures about every 6 weeks since I was wearing shoes and no one was seeing my feet anyways. I will say that the gel manicure was done well and I like the finished product of that. That and the fact that they were nice is the only reason for the 3 star rating. But no more pedicures here in the future. read more

Found this gem via Yelp, of course, and called to make mani/pedi appointments for hubby and I. Called about two hours in advance and they had space, no problem. Signed in, they got two chairs ready and off we went. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and professional. When asked what we wanted to drink, we were both amazed they offered Jack Daniels and Crown! Score! Sandy did hubby's pedicure and Brian did mine. I am super awful ticklish and have bad callouses on both feet, but Brian listened to my previous experience, adapted and got my feet as smooth as they've ever been! Super attention to detail, including my shellac (not the dip) manicure. Everyone who walked by asked how we were doing, offered drink refills and just seemed so in tune with customer service that this place blows away the competition. They also offer massage, facials, waxing and eyelash extensions. I will be returning soon for the eyelashes and hubby's proclaimed this to be our new 'go-to' spot for all things spa-like. You pick what you want and get it done. Bonus is that you don't get assaulted with strong chemical smell when you walk in the door like you do at some other nail salons. My feet are always happy after getting a pedicure from Sandi. She's wonderful! Calluses are gone; nails beautifully trimmed and shaped; polish is perfectly applied.
