Updated review as of February 1, 2024 Again, 5 stars! They accept walkins and are fully staffed to do so. However, I always call ahead to book with Rosie. Booking days in advance isn't needed btw, and is good news. I've often called to book an appointment with only a 30min-1hr max advance notice. I am never disappointed with Rosie's work and so appreciate her attention to detail. She's truly good at her craft. Also, she is the ONLY person I trust to wax my eyebrows. They're always even, never over or under-done, and I'm always pleased with how they look. I should also note that here, they're always willing to accommodate getting a manicure at the same time as you're getting a pedicure. This is so great if you're under a time crunch - or like me - and are too impatient to sit through one after the other. Pedicure chairs all double as massage chairs with options and settings, which is such a luxury when you're looking to relax or have that extra added pampered effect. Cleanliness here is top notch. Whether alcoholic or non, they always offer a complimentary beverage and have a full bar at your disposal. All of the staff is friendly, especially the front deskman. This is the worst pedicure I've ever had! - The work on the foot bed, none. My feet ended the same way they went in. - The toe nails, not filed properly to even out the surface. - The nail polish color all chunky, and old. - The woman that did my pedicure picked everything up, said she was coming back to put on my disposable foam pedicure slippers, and forgot about me. Never came back. The guy at the register noticed it and he went to get the slippers and put them on. ----- This is not the only sloppy "pedicure spa" in USA; something has to be done with these so called "spa" and with the people the operate them. read more

Honestly, bad experience. I asked for a pretty simple French tip design. even though there are multiple colors, the lines were not straight and the colors were overlapping each other and messy. When I asked if she could repaint over it or correct the mistake she said it was because I was moving and blamed it on me. After fixing it when I was completely still, they still were messy. The nail polish colors they were not vibrant at all. She told me that it would all even out and not be a splotchy when she put the topcoat on. It did not end up even. Once we got to the checkout, the guy looked at my nails and said that we got a $15 discount.. when we asked why he just went silent and didn't give us an answer. As a new to the area customer, I came in today for acrylic overlay on both my big toes (I bang then constantly). The manager at the desk was really nice and got me right in. Once I sat down I totally relaxed and decided to get a pedicure. I don't think my technician spoke a lick of english because she didn't even say hi to me and I kept trying to tell her about wanting my nails to be even on both feet (acrylic overlay and all). I also kept kinda trying to let her know (without being obnoxious) that I have pretty strong cuticles so they really need to be pushed hard on and cut well. The technician beside her spoke to her after I said things so I'm assuming he was letting her know what I was saying but by the looks of things, my mentions went unheeded. So I just kind of accepted my fate and enjoyed the massage. The pedicure itself was fine. Except the leg mask part. She just slapped it on the top of my foot and then wrapped my legs in hot towels. The massage however was really nice and even on both legs and I appreciated how when I winced she did ease up on her pressure in that spot but didn't cut the massage short. However....What I left with was a disaster. I can't believe I even paid 50$ and left the shop. I didn't get far mind you, I took photos of my nails in the parking lot and didn't even get into my car before turning around. This experience ruined my night. I shouldn't have even been allowed to leave. The (nice) manager didn't ask about my experience or how my service was, if he had I would have just showed him. The fact that I left and had to come back to complain just gave me a bad taste in my mouth. Anyways my reason for the 3stars, when normally it would have been 4 is because Tee fixed the acrylic as best as she could. I didn't even have to mention about my cuticles, she re-trimmed them all, she re filed all my toes, evening them all out as best as she could and then polished again. Tee was super lovely, apologized profusely for my experience and kept checking to see if I was pleased. I understand that she was limited on time and fixing someone else's work, so this review is not solely a reflection of her work, moreover my experience as a whole at this shop. I give them a 3 because they were able to fit me in after I was late for my appointment (I had called ahead that I was gong to be late). After telling Ann all I wanted was dip because my nails are brittle, I was talked into getting an acrylic tip for dipped nails (I've never had dipped nails before). This was after I told her I work on a computer. After a couple of days I wound up cutting the nails shorter. Now over a little over a week, the acrylic tip and the dip on my middle and pointer finger have popped off or are staring to. I will have to go ahead and remove them myself. read more

I will start by saying I came in at 4:50pm and they closed at 5:30pm so, that is on me which is reason 1 this isn't a 1 star review. Reason 2 that it isn't a 1 star review, I love the color I got. Now for why I rated so low. The man that did my Nails, Vincent, rushed the whole time. As he was filing away my old dip it went EVERYWHERE. All over my hair, clothes, and pants. After that happened he just rushed the process of everything else. He ended up cutting me and making me bleed. Then filling too close to the cuticle that I bled as well. I wanted a manicure so my dry hands could get some moisture as well. Usually a good nail appointment and manicure lasts a good 45min-1hr. I was out of there by 5:20. again I know they closed at 5:30pm (didn't know when I walked In. I looked it up once he started rushing and put two and two together.) This is absolutely the best salon in the area that I have found. Excellent and experienced techs, a wide range of services to choose from with reasonable prices, and everyone is so friendly! They never fail to offer complimentary beverages and the massage from their pedicure chairs - holy wow! I always try to go in while my kids are in school, but did have to bring my two youngest last time I went (7 & 10). Many salons would be put out by this. Palace, instead, made the boys feel so comfortable, I almost had them talked into getting pedicures along with me . And Palace DOES cater kindly to children clients as well; many times I've seen other kids there getting pedicures/manicures. I have my own collection of OPI nail polishez that I've carefully chosen as matching my skin tone, and simply loving the shades - I find it's much faster if I don't need to search through their GARGANTUAN selection (although it's certainly a plus that they have every imaginable color available). They've always been fine with me bringing in my bag of personal polishes and choosing something I already know I like, as well as being patient the few times I've gone looking for something new on their easy-to-view and well organized shelves. Last time I went, I got my usual pedicure, then decided to try these gel nails I've heard so much about. Well, I'm pretty well hooked on those now! Very nicely done. I just came here to get ONE acrylic nail fixed. If you don't care what your nails look like, you probably will really enjoy this place. There were two other customers here, it's Tuesday at noon. It took AN HOUR, I am not exaggerating, because she kept running around doing other stuff! Here's everything that went wrong: Tried to glue the nail tip on in a way that it was almost curling completely down, had to tell her to redo it so that my nail appears to grow straight, like my other nails. Made the new nail noticeably too short, had to tell her to fix it. Using liquid for the acrylic that had tons of glitter in it, I told her that was a problem and she said the glitter wouldn't be there when she sanded it. I don't want glitter in my powder on any nail, I shouldn't need to say that. The glitter is still there, after sanding it, i pointed it out to her and she said "but it will be under your polish." OKAY, that's not ok. What if I get a sheer color? My natural nail did not have contact with the tip after glueing it on, she just drilled my nail away hoping I probably wouldn't notice. Having your natural nail there keeps your nails from breaking--thanks for eliminating it. Didn't swab long enough with alcohol to cure after gel polish, my nail is tacky. I have coffin nails, coffin nails should have a very sharp, straight edge, she made my nail tip slightly rounded on the edges and it is not even straight. My nail is thick, it's wavy, it looks bulky, all my other nails look sleek and thin. read more

Daisy is the manger at this location and let me tell you she gets it done ! Anything you want! I hate dip nails they fall off they chip and they don't last!! I came in and I wanted something very specific clear and neon pink hombre nails (half moon) on my ring fingers I wanted ombré nails so it looked like a Malibu sunset with hand drawn palm trees (no stickers here ) stickers fall off and chip the paint also making your nails not last as long!! Daisy did them perfectly no questions asked she was so amazing so nice, asked if I wanted a drink was so careful with me !! I'm from Houston and this is my new favorite spot here in Fort Worth !! I've tried so many nail shops and they can't get it right or they tell me NO !! They say they can't do the design I want !! Quit going to nail salons that tell you no and go see daisy !! She does 3-D nails and any design you want !! This is my go-to spot, but today it ruined my experience. They are always so nice and like to take their time and get people in and out, but efficient, along with great nails. Today, they took a long time, and I have never had worse nails. I had glue all over my fingers to the top of my knuckles, bumps all in my nails from the dip powder, crooked nails, and lines from where they dipped. I am very disappointed. I understand we all have bad days, but when the person gets up and checks on other people, checking the phone, attending to other people, and leaving my nails to dry with half powder on them, it makes it to where I will not be going back. This place was once called Upscale Nails. It changed owners about a year ago. When it was Upscale it was great. Now not so much. I go there to get a pedicure and while they are still okay, they are just okay. My wife goes to get her finger nails done. She has been generally pleased up until today. One problem is they never have the same person available. So today her manacurist was Vincent. She asked for gel nails but he ended up giving her acrylic, but when we went to cash out we were charged for the more expensive gel. In addition he drimmeled to hard and hurt her several times. He also cut her nails almost to the quick after she had asked him not to cut them at all. I am giving them 3 stars today, because of past performance. If I were critiquing based on today's service they would be fortunate to receive 2 stars. There are plenty of nail salons around, so it looks like we will be going somewhere else from now on. read more

Been looking for a good nail salon in the area. Tried this place early on a Saturday morning. I alway do just one color acrylic (pink full nail like the pink used in French tip) I always do the cheaper 18-23$ acrylic fill everywhere of this. I love it because it's budget friendly enough to be able to give a little extra tip and looks natural. New set every few months but can normally go a few times with out needing a new set. Went this past weekend to get 1st fill since a new set, guy seemed a little pushy telling me I had to spend more money and get the solar. I get the same thing every time for years now so I know I don't have to get solar. Obviously I said no and made it clear what I wanted. It seemed obvious that point he thought I was cheap or something and not worth much effort for my nails. (Like I said above I like the same thing every time yes because it is a little cheaper but I like that because I can tip more) but you don't tell someone in that moment when you see that kinda attitude that's one of the reasons you do the same thing every time. Left and my nails... I could tell automaticity were not going to last. Supper uneven and no attention to my cuticle/ tip of my nail bed. Just a pretty bad fill. So with in 4 days half of my nails were already starting to lift off my nail bed and looked 2+ weeks old fill. I didn't fix or say anything right then because I was already a little late for some things I had planned for the day. Called and they were extremely pleasant and welcoming me back in to fix the situation. I wanted to wait to post a review till after I got them fixed. When I returned the person who did my nails did amazing. One of the best fills I have ever had. I was a little surprised they changed for the fix but they only charged 10$. Still very reasonable and fair for a fix but not quite over and above customer service. I don't really give reviews often but I was impressed by how they handled everything when I followed up about a issue with my nails. read more

GOT INFECTED TOE FROM HERE! The tech who did my nails was an older guy. I personally don't care but he was not good. About halfway through my basic pedicure, I noticed he was getting constant looks from his other associates. He must be the weakest link of the group because even the store manager Daisy looked over his shoulder at one point to check his work on my toes. I asked for white gel, it was bumpy and he shaped my toes uneven. Twice during my pedicure, he completely stopped service to answer his phone and talk to his son. The first time I let it slide. The second time I made sure he noticed my dissatisfaction with his mediocre customer service. On top of that, he nicked my cuticle on my pinky toe, which ended up getting infected and costed me a trip to urgent care for antibiotics! I was livid! My toe nail turned black two days after my pedicure. I went to the store to inform them and Daisy (the "manager") said to me, verbatim, "well you must've worn tight shoes or something because that didnt happen here. What you do after the doctor is not my concern". I firmly discussed with her in the lobby that I was already not satisfied with the initial service that I received and now I have to come back to get my gel removed before I go to the doctor due to the unsanitary conditions at her store. I've lived in the same pair of sandals for the past week. There's been no blunt force trauma to my pinky toe. Even if there was, that wouldnt cause my toe nail to go black unless I banged it really hard, which is something I would remember! She offered to put the gel back on my feet once free of charge but I am terrified to go back there. Be forewarned that this could be you! I'm still on my 10 day heavy dose of doxycycline to get rid of the infection! read more

I got a mani and pedi yesterday, and I will not be going back. It was very, very busy, which is completely understandable for a Saturday, but it also means that they rushed through everything. I will say that the guy that did my pedi did a very good job on everything besides painting my toes. The girl that did my manicure, however, completely sucked at everything. While she was trimming my cuticles, she used the cuticle trimmer to trim my nails. They were all jagged and uneven after that, but I figured she was going to file them down. When she went to put polish on them I asked her if she was going to file them, and she seemed taken aback that I asked. I told her that they were all uneven, so yes, they needed to be filed. She put such thick layers of polish on that they look horrible and bubbly. TLDR: While this place looks nice, the service leaves a lot to be desired, especially considering the higher prices.
