Looked up nail salons online at Yelp for me and my friend as a girl's outing. We walked in and everyone was super friendly. I was actually enjoying my mani / pedi until the gentleman cut into the area of my cuticle and nail. I have never been cut getting a manicure and got nervous as I began to bleed. The tecnician immediately put some blue stuff on it and I had to inquire what it was -- a type of antibiotic he said. He applied it three (3) times and then with pressure. I finally stopped bleeding. Then began the coughing of the technician who was doing my pedicure...she coughed on my leg...I was afraid to inquire if she was okay, as the host was coughing too when she walked back forth from the front to the back of the store. To make a long story short, as of this posting my finger still hurts, (yes I know it needs to heal), I was charged for a regular mani, and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have been going here since they open. Absolutely love this place. Nice atmosphere, sweet owners and very clean/sterilized equipments! Owners are very polite and care about the quality of work. If you are unsatisfied or have a chipped/broken acrylic nail (even a week later), they will repair it, no extra charge. Sandy has been doing my pedicure for years now (I used to get pedicures done by her at the previous salon she worked at). I like the extra scrub around my heels and she does it without hesitation, every time! The massages are monitored using a timer so there is consistency every time. I will continue coming to this salon because first and foremost, they are clean and sterilize their equipments to par...and you get a new one time use buffer each time you get a pedicure. Today was my first time to get my nails done here and I will definately be returning. The moment I walked in I was greeted so kindly and enthusiastically but the sweet receptionist, I think her name was Sarah. I was a walk in so I did have to wait 10-15 minutes but that was ok because she got me a drink while I waited and checked on me a couple times. I have been coming to Nail Lounge and Spa for the past few months and can't recommend this nail salon enough. I first found this salon after reading such high reviews and now I know why. Their attention to detail, customer service, friendliness, and cleanliness with everything they use is outstanding. I had several bad experiences in Mansfield that made me never want to get my nails or toes done again, but thanks to Kevin and Vanessa, Nail Lounge and Spa has won over a dedicated client. The salon is always clean and has a relaxing environment. Both the husband and wife that own this salon go above and beyond making sure everyone leaves happy. I never feel rushed to leave after services were done. I have brought my boyfriend here for a pedicure and he loved it as well. Do yourself a favor and skip all of the other salons where you might get good service one time but not so great the next time, and come to Nail Lounge and Spa. I can't speak about any other staff only because I have requested who I like every time I make an appointment. While an appointment is not necessary, they do get busy (easy to understand why) so it is best to make an appointment for when you want to come get pampered. Came in randomly on a surprise afternoon off and had a really good experience w Jason. Started w a pedi and changed my mind later to add a dip mani -- nobody batted an eye at the request. The pedi lady was so nice and offered me wine and made easy conversation. Jason was great, he knew right away that my last tech (another establishment) was crap--though he was too nice to actually say that lol. He helped me choose my color and made nice conversation while working his artistry! I appreciated his reassurance that he would be consistent and I would leave w nails wayyyyy better than what I came in with (and it's always nice when you think you have found a steady/creative/quality-driven tech who tells you to come to him next time). Good ol yelp brought me to find this gem. They have been open for about 3 months now and are offering a 20% off all services! I had the top of the line pedicure with the new nexgen nail dip. Hat s off to Amy and Tony who worked on me in making my nail s look good again. Amy was very through in getting all the dead skin off my heels and cutting the ingrown nails out of BOTH my big toes!! She was strong in my massage, yet it was relaxing. Tony did my nexgen dip and it looks really good, pretty polish and everything's even. The owners are husband and wife and walk around periodically to check on everyone and how they are liking their services. What I noticed and loved is they use baking timers to TIME your massage. This is brilliant I think. If the client is paying for a 25 minute massage (as I was today)then 25 minutes it should be. Not 15, like other places I have gone to in the past years have done. Absolutely wonderful. I am from out of town and was looking for somewhere to get my nails and toes done before the weekend since I won't have time when I return home. Ms. Ivey did my pedicure while Ms. Kim did my dip nail manicure. Both worked with such precision and care that my worries of the end product being nice or not quickly dissipated. My daughter and I decided to give this place a try after I read all the great reviews. It was our girl time before my daughter has her first baby! AbSOlutely loved the service we received. We both got the gel nails and my daughter got the classic pedicure. John, the one doing my nails is TERRIFIC!! Takes his time, very knowledgeable, you can tell he takes pride in his work, something you don't always see in this trade. Thanks John, you are the BEST! By the look on my daughter's face she was literally in heaven while being pampered. A couple nails were a little bumpy, but those things happen now and then. She still loved her pampering! After a pleasant phone call we are going back tomorrow so they can make everything right. I understand things happen, I don't stress as long as there is a willingness to make it right. This was a beautiful place and I had high hopes with the location close to my house. BUT it was incredibly dirty. I was told to sit at a station and when I sat down I noticed nail clippings all over the floor and in the foot basin. So I got up to move and a technician yelled "where are you going" I told her that station needs to be cleaned so I'm moving to another. I didn't notice anyone cleaning down a station after one client left , they just sat another one down without even wiping or cleaning off the table or sweeping up nail clippings. If you go there arm yourself with disinfectant wipes and take your own manicure set. The manicure itself was really nice and the technician put several colors on my hands as requested...I would rate it a high score if not for how unclean every surface was in the place. read more

I have mixed feelings about this salon. The good: their pedicures are THE BEST. I've had several different techs and they dont rush and they so good work. Everyone is nice, greeted friendly, and never made to feel stupid or like you are bothering them which I've experienced at the Southlake salon I frequent. The bad: I've had several blah dip manicures..as in shape being wrong, or they arent straight, or just that they dont last at all!! The last one I had before starting a new job and my nails were peeling off my day 5. That's crazy!! I can always make it to 14 days at least at the other salon I alternate between. I don't know if the tech was inexperienced or product was bad. But I had made an appt and specifically asked for "someone who does a good dip manicure." Additionally, I had to pay extra for cuticle work which is frustrating, because that would be standard with a manicure. I do like that it's not loud, they have a nice environment and it looks like they have recently done a little remodeling.. read more

A customer convinced me to get nexgen nails instead of gel and I loved it! This post is a late post from a little while ago. I loved how clean it was inside and how friendly everyone was. I was surprised that my cuticles were left untouched.. I also left with a bunch of nail polish underneath my nails, which came off by itself a few days later. I liked that the nails were a lot harder then gel. Although "warning" take them off when your nails start to grow out, otherwise your nails flip easily, I hurt 4 fingernails before finally taking them off. Otherwise I loved nexgen! read more
