I was referred to Nail Lounge and Spa from a coworker who always has great nails. I have been wanting a nail lady for a few months now and I'm sad I didn't come here sooner. My nail lady has now been replaced with a nail man and his name is Ethan. I am a huge control freak and this is the first time in a very long time where I did not feel like I had to nitpick my nails and ensure he was doing a good job. He was amazing! He did the shape, length and everything EXACTLY the way I wanted. They also did not skip out on the dip powder, like most places may do. He was incredibly diligent, he took his time, didn't mind that I wanted three different colors in different ways and went out his way to ensure I was happy. The owner checked on me a few times to may sure I was well taken care of. The layout and atmosphere was very neat, clean, and modern, which I also enjoyed. I came here for the first time on Thursday for a pedicure because I saw so many good reviews on them. Unfortunately I wasn't as satisfied as everyone else. These days you can find a nail spa on pretty much any street you drive down. Over the years I have tried many different ones and have to say that nail lounge and spa is my absolute favorite! The cleanliness and open concept make you feel relaxed right when you walk through the doors. The great massage chairs and many pedicure options help too! The owners (along with the rest of the staff) are always so welcoming and even call me by name! I love this. It makes it more personal..and perhaps means I go too often. The best part? We finally found our favorite nail salon in the mid-cities area after trying almost all of them. We love this place and won't go anywhere else now! My daughter and I feel like we are family after going here for the last year or so! Everyone does a fantastic job and the owner is so nice and get's to know you. This used to be my favorite place to go to get my acrylics filled.. now, not so much. I went in two weeks ago to get my nails done and the lady rushed me to pick out my color and sit me down. She barely filed them down and put globs of uneven acrylic on my nails. I wasn't worried until she spent around 5 seconds on each nail to even them out which if you get your nails done, you know that isn't enough to smooth and thin them out. I kept hoping they'd turn out but at the end of the appointment I had crooked, thick nails (the kind you hair gets caught on when you run your fingers through it). I sat waiting and hoped she'd come back to fix them but she disappeared and left me with the surprise that my fills now cost an extra $5. The lady at the front desk only told me "the costs went up over the weekend"... no previous heads up before hand and no other explanation. I wouldn't have minded as much if my nails were as good as I wanted but they looked horrible and I spent $25 plus tip (yes I still tipped because that's where they make money and I know how the service industry works) on a terrible job. Best service EVER! I had never been here before but I saw excellent reviews so I called to make an appointment after a previous nail mistake. I told the guy on the phone my situation and he said they could fix it. I got there right when I was scheduled and I got helped immediately. The manager I guess, made me feel welcomed and made funny jokes with me. The nail tech was awesome. Her name was Kim and I recommend her to any and everyone! She made sure my nails were in the best shape ever and made sure I loved what they did. The service was amazing and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. I already called my sister and told her she had to check this place out. I got a full acrylic set taken off, my nails trimmed and groomed and then I got the dip method on my nails. I came for a Birthday Mani/Pedi. There was no wait, it's a large facility with plenty of people to help. I was very pleased with the service, everyone was helpful, and explained things well. The ladies who worked on my nails were very sweet, and did a terrific job. The pricing was reasonable, and clearly stated in the menu I was given. My daughter and I have been coming here for years. We have received great customer service up until this past weekend. My daughter went in on her day off to get a new set done. While she was there her tech was rude, inconsiderate and didn't do what my daughter asked. My daughter asked for a salmon color but her tech talked her out of it because it would "marble" so she told her the bright orange wouldn't "marble" so my daughter agreed. After leaving my daughter realized that the job on her nails were poorly done. After a day the color that the tech picked for her started to "marble". Come Monday I gave them a call. I spoke with Sandra she told me that if she came in she would get a whole new set for free to make everything better. Come today my daughter came in to get her PROMISED new set. As she sat down the tech told her that they would fix the "marbling" on her nails by filing down her color and putting the same color on which is not what she wanted. In her frustration she told them to take her nail off. Soon after leaving she calls me upset. So being a protective mom I called and spoke to a gentleman who said he was the owner, I told him the problem that has occurred just minutes before. He told me that he thought that daughter was anxious and depressed while she was in there. After telling me this I get even more upset. Then after telling him he offended my daughter. I was put on the phone with Haley she was the other store owner and I re-explained everything to her again. Once I finished talked to Haley to get the process going to get our money back. I called back to give them the card number. The gentleman that called my daughter those awful things put the phone down and said while I can still hear him that he didn't want to talk to me because I was a "witch". I work in customer service myself so I know what good customer service is. The phone call and the experience that my daughter has wasn't up to their standards. We did get our money back and will not be returning after the comments that were made about my daughter and myself. So if you want crap rude service by all means go to this joyous place. read more

I've been here two times. The first time was a very great experience..it's very clean and spacious I there and everyone is so nice. I got a deluxe pedi and gel full set. The second time however I went in to get a fill a day after I got that done the gel came off on my thumb and the design which was not at all how I thought it was going to come out chipped off at the top. I also asked for extra coats for my ring finger because it's glitter I was told I can't get any more. Really disappointed with this last visit at least the turn out of my nails. read more

They actually do pretty good work but the manager is an awful person. I've gone to them for a couple months and thought I found my new nail place after moving from Dallas but I had to get a nail fixed after getting my hand smashed in a door, one breaking while cleaning and one that just cracked off. I know, I know, getting a different nail fixed in one 4 week set is a lot but I tipped well each time and was told when I started going here that any time I break a nail it is free. The manager got angry the second time I came in and almost insisted on me getting my nails redone (after two weeks). The third time I came to get a nail fixed he get really angry and said, "Why are you back? This is the third time you've come in to get a nail fixed when you should've just gotten them redone the first time?! If you come in you'll have to pay to get it fixed!" The nail estheticians are generally good depending on who you go to but I can't stand behind a manager who is so rude and goes against what he originally told me. read more

I have gone here for years now and have never had a problem. I have always gotten dip nails. The last 2 times I went I was highly dissatisfied though. First time I asked for 2 colors, a white and a rose gold sparkle. When she began putting on the what was suppose to be white it came on as pink. I asked her if I could just change the sparkle nail to fit the pink since the color wasn't what I expected, she got up for me to look at new sparkles but with it came a big sigh and roll of the eyes. In the end she did 4 coats of my color but only 2 of my sparkle to the point you could see through it. I felt rushed to get out of there. On top of all this I wanted to use my natural nails but she said she would not do it on my natural nails and insisted I added tips. Within a week and a half my nails had all fallen off do to the poor job she had done. I have always kept my nails for 2-3 weeks no problem but never a week and a half. Second time was this pst Sunday, somehow I got out with the same lady. She did a sloppy job on my nails leaving a ton of excess under my nails and on my skin. Come Monday I looked at my nails to see that one of my nails had come undone from the dip (this time I have no tips). I am very disappointed that my favorite nail salon has had this happen twice. I never got her name but I am very hesitant to go back next time due to the poor service I have received these past 2 times from the same lady. Again, I have never had problems with any other people and I love the owner and how kind and welcoming he is but these past 2 times I have been very disappointed. read more

Two stars for effort. Where do I begin. So I walked in when they had first opened. The woman at the front offered me a 30% off deal as I picked up a brochure, so I decided to sit down for a set of SNS nails. I always pick teal when I don't know my techs, as at least if it's ugly the color is nice. Good lord. A gentleman came to work on me, and he was sweet but his technique was atrocious. If you have ever gotten SNS nails, they aren't supposed to wrinkle much if any when they apply the glue and dip your nails. It creates weaknesses in the nail structure, as it means the glue application was too heavy and most likely will not bond properly. These were the sloppiest, wrinkliest, most misshapen nails I have ever had the displeasure to sport. His shoddy attempt to rectify his mistakes with the drill left my mouth dry. Thank god for that 30% off right. I will not be back. SNS takes training and this man wasn't even close to knowing what he needed to do. So my mom and I went in because of the 20% off sign and the fact that it looked so nice. They have an awesome selection of colors (opi and Essie). We sat down and I started to soak my feet, then the lady turns on the water and it sprays all over me and my shorts. Now I am soaking wet, it's freezing inside, and all they did was hand me a towel. We continued on and the lady started my manicure. Let me start by saying my cousin (who is 11) could do a better job. I then proceeded to tell the owner that I didn't like the job she did, the owner redid the polish and it looked great but the original woman was hovering and complaining. 42 dollars for a normal mani/pedi and I came out with a nail job that was average and soaking wet shorts. She was gentle with all the tools, as I have tender feet and very little calluses. I really like it when salons use the plastic bags to line their tubs for extra cleanliness. I've been meaning to write a review for this place for a while now. Been here at least 6 or 7 times now for Nexgen dip nails and they do a fantastic job. Everyone is super friendly and so far they've all done wonderful work. I never have to wait long and usually I'm done with removal and application in under an hour. My nails hold up really well even though my job is hard on them, but if one does chip they fix it free of charge and no questions asked. I highly recommend this salon! read more

My friend and I both came in the other day, I got nxgen and she just wanted to get her nails painted. They finished mine then told her they didn't have time for hers. I got up to pay and it was completely over priced. The experience was alright, nothing amazing. But I will not be returning because of the price.
