A one-woman show, but I've never had anyone more thorough and dedicated to making my nails look the best they can be. Be sure to make a reservation as she's often booked. She takes credit card for payments over 35$, otherwise bring cash or withdraw some at the atm machine right outside. The nail salon is located right outside the turnstiles that lead you into spa palace, and her suite is very humble. Not the widest selection of colors, but how many shades of pink do you really need anyway? Know that some colors include an up charge of 5$, so if she doesn't tell you, ask. Here's no foot spa, and she uses just a little tub, but my pedicure here was better than the ones I've gotten at fancy salons with their jet streams and aromatherapy. At the end of the day, nothing beats a strong attention to detail, which was you get here. She didn't rush through anything, and didn't pressure me to have conversation, which is a HUGE plus for me bc most times I just wanna sit in silence and get my nails done. read more

She was so friendly: she offered coffee and checked up on me if I was cold or not because of the AC, etcs. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she just started working on my nails. Very fast and detailed. She would double, triple check if my nails were perfect. And bam! Made my ugly hands to a whole new level. I can't stop looking at my nails cause they were so cuuute! This was a very unique experience. The nail salon was located inside a huge luxurious spa, which for reference, was technically across the street (backside) from the Home Depot and Mcdonalds on Wilshire. As you walk in, you're greeted by spa staff, then told to meet Hannah in her studio to the left. It was very private, small in size and clean. The spa chair was comfy and new. You pick a color and sit. Hannah then starts your service immediately, focusing on every detail the entire time. I called in advance to check if they were open. A nice lady answered and said she was available to do a gel manicure. I love 5 minutes away so I was there super quick. Free parking in the lower level of the structure which is awesome. Once there a sweet lady greeted me, there I met Hannah. The place was very neat and organized which is awesome and she was very sweet and very open to my many questions. I've had a really bad streak with nail places and haven't been able to find a nail technician that I really like. I let Hannah know that I had acrylic extensions put in place and I was interested in gel extensions instead. She was game and she did a wonderful job on my nails. Her manicures are so detailed I really appreciated the time she took on each nail. My favorite thing is that her tools and polishes are all up to date and new. She's really well taught on different design styles and trends which is amazing because hologram nails right now are crazy expensive. Hannah moves like a skilled surgeon with everything she does. She moves quickly but with such precision and accuracy that the only way I can describe her is like a sniper. She treats her nail tools like how John Wick handles his weapons...everything has its place. She's the only person working this little nail suite located the huge spa palace. Were it not for Yelp probably no one (esp I) would know this place existed. I've gone to almost every nail salon in DTLA and can say, without a doubt, that Hannah is the best in the biz. Be prepared to spend about two hours for a gel manicure here, because even though she is fast, she's such a perfectionist that everything has to be done meticulously. When she files, buffs, and cuts down your nails, you don't have to worry about accidentally being scratched or cut (I always flinch when nail techs move too quickly with their emory boards because I always wind up being scratched on the tops of my fingerbeds). Not here...she is fast but careful and I only go here now because my gel manis end up lasting so much longer with ZERO lifting. Also, as an introvert, I love that there's minimal to zero conversation so I'm just able to tune out and get fabulous nails in the process. Definitely worth checking out! read more

Not only did she do these amazing nails on me (and help me make a decision because I was very indecisive) she also shared her story of coming from South Korea and ultimately opening up this nail salon this year. She takes her time to clean my cuticles and scrub my feet so my heels get clean from the thick skins accumulated especially in summer sandals. This time I got gel pedicure with glass nail design as attached photo shows. I'm very indivisive when to pick design or color, but she always come up with good design to make my feet pretty. They charge for gel removal first visit but after no additional charge for the removal. I liked that the basin to put the feet in is removable and had plastic lining for hygiene. She seemed to do many coats of the gel too which is nice and will be thicker and stronger. Will be back next time I'm in downtown LA. read more
