Love this place! Sam has been doing my nails for years and I will go anywhere she goes because she is hands down the best. I get gel-x every time and over the years I can't tell you how many other nail techs have carelessly drilled into my skin with the e-file or burned my nail bed with the setting light by using too much glue. Never with Sam. Not once. She is such a pro! And while others take over an hour for a gel-x set, Sam has me in and out of there in under an hour. I get pretty simple designs so more complex ones may take a bit longer, but regardless of what your request is, she will without a doubt make them look amazing. She is such a gem! The location is easy to get to with convenient underground parking that they validate. The chairs are comfy and pricing is super reasonable. They're pretty flexible about scheduling and walk-ins. I only came because they told me they could remove gel without drilling. It's now been 3-4 times I have been and even when they don't drill, they file my nail bed and cause damage. 2/4 times, 4-5 of my nails chipped and had to be corrected within the first week. The other two times, the gel lasted, but they damaged my nail bed from using drills after pressuring me, and 4/10 of my nails have split in the middle--this has only ever happened to me after a nail tech damaged my nail bed from over filing or drilling. One time a lady (Julie) started to do my nails and got an attitude them started talking about me in another language. I then asked for someone else if she could not continue without having a rude attitude. She then claimed no one likes removing gel without drilling and was extremely nasty and rude. I will never come back to this place. The three pictures is from my last time going there, showing the four nails that broke/split in the middle of my nail due to damage. So I just moved to DTLA and haven't yet found a spot to land for my pedicures. Apparently I'll have to keep looking because it won't be here. I hate to post my feet publicly but it's just that awful. I got the "deluxe" pedicure with regular polish for $53. My nail tech was "Ellie" and her service was so rough that at one point I had to ask her to be gentler. She kept jerking and yanking my feet, making quick motions that indicated she just wanted to do it and get it over with. She did it in an indifferent manner with no care or attention. The proof is in the pics. I asked her to cut my nails short and they are uneven and sharp. One big toenail is shorter than the other, and there is still lots of dry skin around the toes even though she called herself doing the exfoliation and callous remover, which were part of the package. You can also see where the polish is not even; she didn't paint down to the cuticle. To Ellie's credit when she saw the disapproval on my face, she started putting forth more effort. Before that, she was only stroking my leg for the massage. Just running her fingers up and down my leg. By the time she pulled out the hot lava stones, I just wanted it to be over. The manager offered me a $7 or 10% discount and a couple of extra stamps when she noticed my disdain, but I would rather just move on and find a place I enjoy. I've been coming here for a little over 3yrs, and my nails always come out great! I usually get gel x & I always get complements on my nail designs. My nails never break down and can last a month or so, depending on how fast they grow out. The ladies are very nice and patient. Parking and validation are available here as well! read more

I just want to give a special shoutout to Sammi! She responded within 10 minutes of my initial request and was so accommodating that I was able to get an appointment the following day. There are a lot of nail technicians in the city that can do good work, however Sammi is capable of doing amazing work and really fast! She was also on the aux and playing some jams in the salon which really set a vibe. I recommend anyone to come here and ask for Sammi. There's also free parking onsite after 2pm! read more

My first Yelp review... and I wish it didn't have to be for this. I've been coming to this salon for years. My daughter was just 4 years old when we started coming here, and we lived next door at bunker . The previous staff literally watched her grow up. We became loyal customers because the service was consistently great, the pricing felt fair, and we always left happy. Unfortunately, since the new ownership took over this year, everything that made this place special has slowly disappeared. The prices have increased, many of the talented technicians we loved have left (especially Lyn , who was incredible), appointments take significantly longer, and parking is no longer validated. What used to be a quick one-hour visit now regularly turns into well over two hours, which means we're also paying more just to park. Today's visit was the final straw. Two weeks ago, my daughter and I both got brand-new full sets with detailed, intricate nail art. Today, we returned for fills with much simpler designs, my daughter got simple pedicure no nail color just cleaning of the cuticles. After I got home and compared my receipts, I realized we were actually charged more today for simple fills than we paid for our full sets two weeks ago. That honestly doesn't make sense. I've included photos of both visits along with the receipts so people can judge for themselves. The darker green nails are from our full sets two weeks ago. Today's designs were much simpler, yet somehow cost more. This review isn't because I'm trying to argue over a few dollars. It's about transparency and consistency. If prices have changed, explain them. If there are additional charges, communicate them before the service--not after I've already paid and left. The one thing I can't stand is being played As someone who's supported this salon for years and brought my daughter here throughout her childhood, I feel incredibly disappointed. I never imagined I'd be looking for another nail salon after all these years, but the experience under the new ownership simply isn't the same. Loyal customers notice when things change, and unfortunately, not for the better. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously because this salon used to be one of my favorite places. Unfortunately, my experience changed over the past 4-5 months. * Price Changes: I always get the same gel manicure. I used to pay $35, then was charged $40, $45, and finally $50. On one visit, the nail tech even wrote $35 on the paper, but I was charged $40 at the register. * Rudeness: When I politely asked why the price had changed, the woman with bob haircut at the register immediately became defensive and started yelling at me. I repeatedly told her I wasn't trying to argue and only wanted to understand the price difference. * Called Me "Confused & Crazy": She insisted the price had never changed, told me I was confused and crazy,, and yelled loudly enough that other customers were staring. * Changing Explanation: I went home and checked my credit card statements because she made me question my own memory. I confirmed that I had previously paid $35. When I called back and told her, her explanation changed, she then said $35 had been the price for a color change. * Why I Stopped Going: Maybe the male owner San, had been giving me the $35 price because I was a regular customer. If so, that could have been explained politely. Even if the price had increased to $40-$45, I probably would have continued coming here. The price wasn't the problem. The way I was treated for simply asking a question was. I never really understood why people complained about hidden fees at nail salons until I experienced it myself for the first time.This place was much better when the male owner San was there. After almost two years as a regular customer, I won't be returning. I've since found another nail salon that I like. read more
