If you know...it's very challenging for moms of small children--especially with special needs--to make appointments and keep them. So, we took the chance and walked in on a Thursday evening. Although a couple of the ladies were prepping to close, the owner or manager who was finishing up a gel manicure, welcomed us and asked what we had in mind--she then said it would be about a fifteen-minute wait. The only thing that identifies this place as a nail shop when you walk in are the polishes on the wall, the four nail stations, and the two pedicure seats. There's no decor no extra chairs no anything, except Christmas ornaments hanging from the ceiling. There are only two workers, one of them was busy when I walked in, so she called the other. He did a good job on my pedicure, however, when it was time to polish, he handed me off to the worker that was already busy with someone else's pedicure. He then went outside to catch a breather, and then came back into the shop to give his self a manicure. So I sat there an additional 25 minutes waiting for her to finish polishing the other person. When she did come to me, she had to clean up of his hits and misses before she gave me a polish. The quality is there, but the efficiency lacks. If anyone complains about the price here, they shouldn't be getting their nails done, it's almost half the price of anywhere else you would go for chrome, cat eye and nail shape. Every time I would go in, I was not given prices before we started. The inconsistency with the pricing and what I was charged was constant. When I went in to get my nails done in February, the male technician listened to what I had to say and after he was halfway done, he finally told me my nails would cost $107, including the nail art and refill of acrylic. Now, I understand that it is painstaking work to paint on nails, but I did not request anything outlandish . When I asked the technician why it cost so much he told me that "because my nails were a specific length, My refills would be $52 and the nail art itself was $55. Now, I will post a photo of what was done because it was gorgeous. I got many compliments on it, but the amount that they charged this last and final time really made me upset. I did go to another nail salon in between the last time there in February where the prices were even higher and I had the same issue. I will be going back and updating that review as well, but as for this location, I will never go back there. I truly enjoyed When the technicians were upfront, they didn't overcharge me for everything, and I didn't get green underneath my nail. DON'T GO HERE!!!! I went in today for balayage. Showed pictures of what i want! Explained it all…read more Wanted to trim split-ends too. First - Marie just bleached my hair so it looked orange. Actualy, first she bleached it that there wasnt any difference at all with what i had before! Attached you can see the picture of with what hair i got in and the other one - how she destroyed it all! So already my naturaly beautiful long curly hair was ruined! I started crying while she was brushing it. Only after five minutes she said she'll put a toner to get rid of orange. I was crying so didnt pay attention to how she treamed my hair... BIG mistake! After lotion - my hair wasnt orange anymore, but i looked like a coloured blonde who's roots just grew out! Wasnt balayage for sure! Third step - she put a color to match mine by the roots. After that it looked better, but still - absolutely nothing alike as i asked her to do initialy. I got tired, left the place at 7:30pm. I got there around 3:30. Now i see the way she trimed my hair and im crying again. She completely destroyed the cut i had. I had layers and not a straight line cut. Now it looks horrible! And to top it of - only when i got home and calmed down i saw that the color by roots doesnt match my natural hair color. So badicaly she dyed my whole head! While at the very begining i said that i dont want my roots touched and my color destroyed. Dont go there! If you live your hair - stay away! Better pay more for a nicer place and be sure those people know what they are doing! I regret i payed anything for that! Just did because im stupidly too nice of a person. This place=HUGE REGRET!!!
