Very impressed with Vanny Nails! The service was fast, efficient, and served up with a smile. The salon is very clean and the massage chairs looked (and felt) brand new. (Great back massages!) They have upgraded pedicure choices on their menu but I just got the Classic this time. There's so many nail colors to choose from you'll have a hard time deciding. My tech did a meticulous job on my pedicure and gave a great calf/foot massage, too, finished off with a hot towel. Awful customer service. I went to get a full set and a pedicure after not having my nails done in weeks due to a move. When the guy couldn't perform doing an ombre set they then switched me to the owner of the shop who was no help at all told me to go pick out a color didn't even direct me towards where the polishes were then as I was standing at the wall where all the dips and other polishes were she called me back to her table telling me she had a color for me then when I sat down asked me again what I wanted. I then asked why I've been given their gel options. She then said they could t do what I had originally asked for (why say that you can when you can't and get a customer up set.) I told her I'd prefer to pay for the services provided and go else where. She gave me attitude, said I did not need to pay and walked away. I tipped my nail tech that had started my set but left with half ass shit nails done. I will never go back there I don't recommend anyone ever giving this shit salon any business read more

I was in the area in desperate need of a manicure and little time as I had an Event I was going to. Vanny Nails located in a strip center with adequate parking. Luckily I snagged a space right out front. It was a sign of good things to come. Warmly greeted from the second I walked through the door. Immediately assisted on what I needed and they got me the color nail polish I wanted. Perfect shade of pale pink and high quality brand Estee. Before we started I was in need of the restroom which was very clean and pleasant. Than I was shown the manicure station where the nice lady was waiting to assist me. Even though we didn't speak the same language she was very kind. She did an excellent job cutting away the dead skin around my cuticles. In fact who knew I had so much. Than she massage in lotion into my hands and forearms. She applied the nail polish perfectly with the mini fan on to dry my nails in between working on my other hand. After she was finished applying two coats of color as well as a top coat. I was given the option to stay and dry my nails there or go to the other side. The lady who helped me I think her name was loan she was very rude, I told her that in one my toes the polish wasn't applied correctly then she rolled her eyes and said OMG n ripped the toe separators so hard and on top of that she did a terrible job. The place was packed on NYE but everyone was quite friendly in spite of how busy it was. They told me that I could do the mani-pedi simultaneously, but that quickly changed upon my arrival. Great. I could barely find any magazines past November and it was much dirtier than I'd remembered, unfortunately. At least the nail supplies seemed new and clean. My shellac finger nails looked great and the lady who did mine was pleasant and efficient. My toes, which were done by an older woman, looked like they had been painted by a child. I asked her to cut my toe nails fairly short, as usually my pedicures last upwards of three weeks, and once she did so, she could barely contain the nail polish on the actual nails. Since she had moved on to her next client, I asked the lady doing my fingers to clean them up, but there was not much she could do. She simply told me to request her next time and shrugged it off as if I'd imagined it all. She did a pretty good job convincing me of it, too. I mentioned something to the friendly clerk at the front who didn't say anything as if she already knew that the woman was just not that good. I still tipped her, as yes, they were painted-- they just didn't look professional. I was hoping that after I showered they would look better but they still looked gloopy to me. So, now that I've left FLL I've decided that next time I will either go somewhere in Socal or Yvr and skip fll entirely. There doesn't seem to be any place that is good surprisingly, and I'm disappointed that I wasted my money and a 20% tip here. I doubt that I'll return. I should have read some of the other reviews more carefully, but they seemed to be all over the map. My suggestion is to look at the majority of the reviews before you decide to try this place out. read more

RATING 0.0 STARS When I was a kid, I used to love Godzilla, but little did I know my assigned nail technician Winny was Godzilla herself. I should have read the reviews prior, but I did not, I went by the average star rating instead. I should have read Mary's Daughte R. and Alissa W.'s review's. So I paid $32 dollars for a mani/pedi, a little cheap, but I should have paid $0.00 for the work I received. Pedi Hell: - nearly burnt my feet with extra hot water. - she partially sliced/burnt my toe using the nail file incorrectly, I actually screamed out. - a few of the nails were left crooked. Mani Hell: - all my nails were left uneven between pink and white. - some side outer parts of nail were left partially ripped off where you could see the white scratched underside. - two pieces of skin skin on edge of nails had to be bitten off by me. - I kid you not, when I got up my index finger was bleeding between the nail and my flesh, I had to suck my finger to stop the bleeding. It was a complete rush job, but I was glad I just wanted to get the hell out of there. I have never in all my life experienced this kind of workmanship on my nails. read more

No, no, no! My pedicure was terrible. I can't remember what the technicians name was but it was done by a man. I should have known I was in trouble when I asked him to cut down my nails a little bit and he promptly replied "No, they're short enough." WHAT?!! I couldn't believe it. On top of that, my pedicure lasted all of about 4 days before it started chipping. Yes, you get your own set of utensils but what good is that if the technicians aren't using them correctly. After I left I noticed ( duh ) one nail was filed crooked. Went back and asked to have it fixed. Woman at desk said she thought nail looked perfect "but" she would file anyway... Vanny & the staff are always accommodating- I've even walked in 10 minutes to closing time. I love the fact you have YOUR OWN nail files- each customer has their own box with their name on it. This place us OK. I went there a few times. The first time I got a pedicure which I really loved! They pampared me and drew an amazing design on my toes. The second time was ok, I got acrylic by the manager and she did a good job, nothing special. The last time I was there I left disapointed. First I waited for about half an hour! Then, I got bad achrlics, that fell off two days later! After that, got a bad pedi, my feet did not feel smooth at all after it and the design was ugly! I waited such a long time and the whole thing took so long that I didnt even ask him to draw a new one. Lastly, I paid a lot of money! (I think it was around 60 without the tip). Paul made me feel right at home the moment I sat down. I recently moved and was worried that I'd lose the length on my real nails since the gel I used back home was so thick. Paul told me about liquid gel that allows the nail technician to get all of the imperfections off the top of your nails so they look perfect. Liquid gel is a very thick coat of gel that hardens your nail so your natural nail can grow to be long and beautiful. There are a ton of colors to choose from but just leaving them the light pink of the builder gel is beautiful. (Not pictured here) Next time I can't wait to try holographic nails! The gel nails are very affordable and both Paul and Vanny (his wife) were a joy to spend an hour with. I highly recommend!! read more
