I usually enjoy coming to this salon but today was the worst experience I have ever had. First & foremost I asked the lady to round out my nails & narrow them (because I have chubby fingers so my nails always look fat) she kept reiterating "I want diamond nails it ran $5". I kept saying no & I know what diamond is. As she is finishing filing them every single one of my nails looks different & MOST IMPORTANTLY my thumb nail so crooked. I kept informing her it was and she insisted that it is just how my thumb. I have gotten my nails done enough to know it isn't & my other thumb is straight. If I could give this place negative stars, I would! This place charged me $78 for a gel mani and Pedi, and my nails have been destroyed, and it hasn't even been a week yet. I got my nails done on the 11th or 12th, and it looked like they had been on the way longer. Coming in, I had acrylic on my toes. The guy who did my toes seemed like he didn't know how to take them off. You're supposed to soak them off; no, he didn't, so he drilled the acrylic off and then popped one of the nails off with a fake nail. That's a huge Nono. I paid for acrylic on two of my toes to even the length of them, and they still came out wrong. Also, my big toes were so thin from that drill that my toenail cracked a day after then it came completely off now. Save your money and go somewhere else. These people need to take a refresher course. Also, they reused a foot file, and you're not supposed to. Those are single-use items. Also, I have my cosmetology license, so I know!! This place is horrible‼ first of all they tell you one price online but when you get there they tell you a completely different price that's much higher. They say the have student discount starting at $25+ but I end up paying $90 for my 16 year old daughter. They charge for everything and I mean everything. This place is a fraud. I only went here for a pedicure because my regular salon was booked for 2 days straight. They took me in as a walk-in, which was great. I was in and out in less than a 1/2 hour. I felt rushed but the woman kept telling me they were slow. I mentioned a few spots she missed, etc. and she kept saying she "saw it" or "knows what has to be done". They automatically use pink powder on the kids without telling them and overcharge the kids for the powder that they did not ask for. I called last Tuesday and made an appointment with Gigi and j specifically asked for Saturday 9/18/21 at 1:30p which she gave me and I confirmed twice with her. She called me today (9/18/21) at 12:47p to ask if I was still coming. I explained my appointment was for 1:30p. She told me no, she wrote me down for 12:30p. Argued with me, told me I was out of luck cause she had someone else coming in at 2p and hung up on me. I was going to be a new customer cause she came highly recommended. Last week, the lady who did my nails cut me, she didn't size my nails at all and when she was done they were uneven, some were thicker than others. They feel terrible and they look horrible. The salon itself inside is nice, lots of people, but I didn't have to wait long. However, I am not happy with my manicure. This was my first time here and I don't think I will return as I get much better manicure at my usual salon. I got a gel manicure and the girl that worked on my nails did a sloppy job. The brand of the polishes was also unfamiliar to me so I think it's a cheap brand as I am on day 4 of my polish and it's peeling already! The reason I get gel manicure is because it is supposed to last almost 2 weeks and I never have a problem when I get my nails done at my regular salon (it lasts me 2 weeks and doesn't chip or peel). I'm completely unhappy that I paid $25 + tip for a sloppy job and terrible polish quality. What a waste. Maybe it depends on what kind of person you get to work on your nails, some care more than others. read more

I have been to Nail Splash three times. I loved that I was taken immediately each time and did not have to wait. That is where the 1 star comes from. That is the only pro. I had Joe two of those times and he rushed through my pedicure as if his shift was about to be over. The acrylic was put on thick and was not filed down well. My cuticles were not cut or cleaned up. I find myself having to go back every 10 days because of how badly my nails looked, as opposed to being able to stretch my manicure out to 2 or 2 and a half weeks. I like the service here however they have a nail technician that is male who has crude jokes when or if you ask to use their public restrooms. He will ask if you or your child forgot your diaper at home. And one time my son had MY iPad which happens to have a pink Otterbox case on it and he asked my 6 year old child if he was a sissy boy. I have to say, I was pretty disappointed in their service. I came in for a simple manicure to treat myself. I signed my name and 2 min later I was in a chair. Pretty fast right? Well that's how the whole manicure went, fast. The owner of the place did my nails and it felt like he was rushing to get me out the door. My nails were not properly prepared for polish and some of the nail file debris got onto my nails while he was applying the polish. The top coat was noticeably old and had a stickiness to it. One of my nails even got messed up because the top coat created a little bubble that popped on my nail,it was awful. He pointed to the back and said "go dry". I turned the dryer on and waited until it shut off. When I left I saw how terrible my nails really looked. It really put a damper on my day. It hasn't even been a week and the polish is already peeling. The experience was a complete thumbs down and I wouldn't recommend this salon for anything. This last time I asked for someone different because the woman who was going to do my manicure did a terrible job the time before, but somehow I was misunderstood. I REALLY don't like to complain because it's uncomfortable but again I received another terrible manicure from the same individual. Nails are uneven, the gel is somehow still not dry so therefore it smeared. On another nail, some of the color was ruined from not allowing the gel to dry before adding the top coat but she didn't try to fix it. I went here for an impromptu pedicure. Let me start by saying I am very particular about my nails and I love going to my usual two favorite salons. My first visit here was not good at all. A male nail tech took me back to the pedi area. I noticed the tools were not autoclaved which was a concern. He touched my feet like I was an infant, did not apply much pressure at all. He filed my toes horribly. The tips of my toe nails were jagged and even snagged on the paper towel he used to remove the oil polish. I told him repeatedly that the file job needed improvement. Eventually I took my own toes and his file and filed them while in the chair myself! The polish job was a mess. Not smooth at all. Their polishes and art polish look old. They do not know how to do designs either. If you're into the latest nail trends like me - don't come here you will be very disappointed. When my pedicure was complete, I spoke with the owner about the poor job his employee did, and how my feet didn't even feel that soft. He took $3 off and had no explanation. I will NEVER come here again. The owner does not care about the quality of work. The workers kept complimenting my finger nails and the designs asking me where I got them done.
