I called and made an appointment surprisingly next day. Being pregnant has made it difficult to reach past my stomach for many things, specifically my feet especially during third trimester. It wasn't too far from home, so the commute was short, which was nice. Walking in, I was welcomed and I let them know I had an appointment. All the ladies were occupied and assisting other patrons. I took my time choosing the nail color - went through like 6-7 choices. Ended up going with a green color and surprisingly thought it was fate that it was named "Dragon Scale." I'm expecting this year - which is the year of the wood dragon. So anything dragon kind of catches my eye. After a few minutes, I was motioned to one of the massage chairs. They gave me a laminated menu which listed the options. I went with the classic pedicure, getting a sea salt scrub and callus removal. It was nice to get massages on the legs and also the callus filed away. Along with the nails being cut - they were growing quite long and getting caught on things such as blankets. The ladies at the salon were sweet and welcoming. We made small talk and I learned a bit about one of their past pregnancy experiences. Overall I had a really good time as it has been a long while since I have been out socializing. The service was $33, and besides credit card and cash, they also take venmo. I would come again. Came back for a change. Been getting gel mani's for a bit. (Always come for my gel pedis ) but decided to switch it up and get a full set. Jenny did not disappoint. I have been to many nail salons over 30 years and when I tell you that this place is a gem among the rest, I'm not exaggerating. Jenni runs her business with absolute precision. Clean, organized, a variety of services offered, well priced and ALWAYS exceptional care and service. Today my 8 year old daughter and I came in for a pedicure and Tina and Rose worked hard to make it a great experience. My daughter had an ingrown nail that she would normally holler about if anyone touched her but Tina got it out without any tears! Got a regular (non-gel) polish change on Saturday, which was my first time coming here. I have never received such a PERFECT polish job... ever!! My nails look like they belong in an advertisement photo! And 4 days later, they still look as flawless as if I have gel. Updating: Jenny reached out and was able to identify the issue based on my photos. There was some leftover Gel X residue causing the bumps and she was quickly able to get me in to fix my nails. This is my first time coming to this location. It's a hidden gem in the back of a shopping center. Family owned/family oriented nail shop. They pride themselves in great customer service above all. Trust me, I heard it for myself. A client that got a pedicure while I was there called in after she left & stated she no longer liked the color. She asked if she can come back in to change it. The shop owner Jenny told her to come back in to get it changed free of charge! All of the staff is very welcoming & they joke around w/ you as if you're family! The nail shop is pretty small but mighty. It is very clean & I've witnessed them sanitizing between every customer. They have a private wax room in the back for all your wax/facial needs. Moving on to my nails... I set up an appointment w/ Noy @3:30pm. I was seen at that time on the dot exactly. She began my acrylic overlay which came out perfect. She was very quick, efficient, & careful not to cut me. I was not disappointed w/ the outcome & it's everything I wanted! After my overlay, we waited on a seat to begin my pedicure. I choose the premium pedi which came w/ the works! Nothing felt rushed & the massages felt amazingggg. I didn't feel like she skimped me for any of my time. LOL. I also love the shape she made my toenails. They were short & square just as I like. Definitely recommend NOY 10/10! Will be going back. As far as parking, it is shared w/ a small plaza. The nail shop is in between a bar & a hair salon. The bar has a lot of patrons that take a majority of the parking. But there are plenty of open parking & you're bound to find a spot as soon as you arrive. Not somewhere you need to drive around & wait for someone to leave. Which is always a plus because I hate having to deal w/ parking. read more

This is my first time at this little nail salon. A quaint spa with a friendly staff. I called in and the young woman let me know that they were able to take me in right away. My nail specialist was quiet but efficient. She really cleaned up my cuticles and did a fantastic work on my gel nails. The massage was really once too. Would recommend this place. Also, parking was easy to find. read more

This is a hidden gem in Rancho Bernardo. I was immediately greeted with an incredibly warm welcome from Jenny. She took the time to make sure I was happy with each and every nail. I have never had someone so meticulous with my nails and I was so appreciative. I showed her a picture and she did exactly what I hoped for and "nailed" it. No pun intended. I wanted pink white and glitter nails and boy she delivered. Jenny truly cares about making sure you're happy. I usually would be in the area to workout but I got injured and decided to treat myself to some self care time instead. I love the fact that they do honor their appointment on time instead of making me wait around 15+ mins. The nail tech Nikki (didn't catch her name) did an amazing job. Nice small clean nail salon. They only have a couple workers but everyone is really nice and welcoming. I was in RB for an event and needed to get my nails done. When I called, the ladies got me in the next day at 9am which was perfect!! Before I even read the reviews, the designer in me fell in love with their clever name and cheeky logo, but when I saw photos of their salon online and heard such great things here on Yelp, I knew I had to check it out. I was not disappointed. I went at 2:30 on a weekday and I didn't have a problem finding a place to park. It was extremely easy to find, too. The salon parlor was smaller than I thought by the photos, but the colors and antiques they chose were gorgeous - vintage with a modern twist. I was offered a beverage while I waited, but I declined. They had a little settee with sliced pound cake under glass and little napkins if you wanted a snack and the music playing was positively narcotic (but not elevator music) -- soothing downtempo/chillout of some variety. I was greeted by Kirsten who was going to be doing my brow wax. I decided to see how thing went with my brows before sharing my "undercarriage". She took me back to one of the rooms and the whole way the decor was warm and relaxing. Kirsten was really sweet, complimentary and made me feel comfortable. She was upfront and tactful, as well. I'm not newbie to brow waxing so I can't say it ever hurts that much, but the wax she used was just the right temp and hurt far less than most of the quickie nail salon waxes I've experienced. We discussed "the undercarriage" while she worked and I was pleased to hear they don't treat each client the same and they take care and time with your netherbits, unlike *some* places that beat your lady garden against a rock for 10 minutes then usher you out the door with a swat on the ass and a tube of Neosporin. I'm talking to you, Brazilia Skincare! But I digress. My brows look really, really great -- not too thin, nice arch, a little bit fuller than I've had recently, which is a good thing -- I just need to get used to it again. She didn't even need to tweeze! A heads up: you can't add a tip on to the credit card receipt, so be sure to bring cash for a tip or let them know how much you want to add before they run your card (which is a little more awkward so I'd go with cash). Kirsten and The Undercarriage were top notch and I'll definitely be going back.
