I love this nail studio. I have been going here just for a couple of years but love their services. I get my nails, feet and eye lashes done. I am a very "last minute" kind of person but they always manage to squeeze me in. They expanded their salon and renovated. The place looks great and is very clean. I went to American Nail artists last week for SNS/powder. The process was different (less layers) than any SNS I had previously and they had me dry under the ultraviolet gel polish light which I though was odd. Three days after I got them done my nails had air bubbles, pick marks, and the tips were chipping and peeling (see pics) and my nails looked dull. I called and set up a time to come back, and they were friendly and very nice about it. I went back tonight. She was able to file off and reapply the top layer and again the gel polish dryer. They are better but still have some pock marks. It feels like they put clear or gel polish over the top. Not at all how my nails usually feel. Update: less than a week after their fix I am taking the polish off. It is chipped and cracked and dull. What a waste of $40. They are either using cheaper materials than other salons or not using the proper top coat. I've never had SNS chip and dill and scratch in a couple days time. read more

Under new ownership! My mom and I have been coming to Tony and Cindy for 15 years. We still see them at their new salon, but came here to quick pedicures while Tony and Cindy are on vacation. Never again. This place reeks of mildew and decaying plants. It's so unhygienic, dirty, and caked in filth. The walls have holes, the floor appears to not be swept in decades. The owners are very rude and cold people. I seriously feel like I need to take a hot shower after this experience and douse myself in bleach. Yuck!!!! read more

Used this salon when it was operated by the previous owners. The new owners are horrible and racist. They charged higher prices to people of color and it was documented as my friend and I received the exact same service and she is white and I'm black and my fee was higher for absolutely no reason and when this was pointed out to the manager he was so nasty and acknowledged it and essentially said, so what !! Wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE ....HORRIBLE !! read more

This is my very first time getting a pedicure at any place, so I didn't know what to expect. First step inside, we were greeted by friendly employees. You pick a nail color from the wall while you wait. It was busy but we were seated fairly quickly. My nail artist was very polite and gentle. The nice cushioned massage chairs and warm tubs for your feet were also a nice plus. My mother got the American Nail Artist package and I just got the Simple Pedicure. A lot of them are not the same length and then when I left my polish started to discolor with spots I came in today to get it fixed. I have never been more disappointed in a nail salon in my life. I asked for gel nails/pink white and got acrylic, with an American color. They kept telling me it was a "new" way of doing this nail. I kept asking about the procedure and was told "trust me-you'll love it". I had also asked for a brow wax and she proceeded to "clean up some other areas" by waxing my face. I didn't ask for this and assumed it would not be an up-charge. I was billed $89 for services I didn't want or didn't ask for and was treated rudely in the process. Went to get a gel polish manicure. One of the younger girls did my nails. It was a very sloppy job and painful at times. It had to be redone, i almost told them to just remove all paint so i can leave because the constant filing and scraping was becoming to much on my nails. The lady in charge proceeded to imply that it was an issue with my nails and not the tech. 2 hours later a decent job was done. The next day my nail cracked and i had to go in and pay to get it fixed. The same lady still implied that it was an issue with my nails. I won't be returning there. read more

I chose this salon because of the reviews and the fact that it's right around the corner from my house. Worst decision ever. They are very hard to communicate with and seem to not really listen to what you are saying. I asked for a short acrylic set and a pedicure. Nothing fancy. The tech that did my hands was very rough, filed my nails all the way up to my cuticles and skin with the rough drill, cut me, over filed some nails while under filing others making them very uneven, did a horrible job layering three coats of gel and had huge chunks of glue under my nails, and jagged edges and leaving my cuticles a mangled mess. The tech doing my pedi cut my nails at a slant on one foot and you could tell where he put the second layer of polish as it wasn't even. I was in a time crunch which I explained prior to arrival and it took well over an hour even though the techs worked simultaneously. When I left and noticed the horribly job, I called back upset and the owner offered to fix at no charge. I couldn't return the following day (sat) so we agreed on Sunday. Sunday when I called to let him know I'd be coming he told me that he was booked and to come Monday. I couldn't come Monday but I didn't bother explaining that, as I decided right there that I didn't want them touching me again. Hands down the worst job I've ever had done in my life and walking out after spending $73 and being beyond upset, I will not even be returning for a removal of my set but will be doing better research and finding somewhere else to go completely. I wasn't going to give them a bad review after the owner offered to redo it, but him pushing me off when it was time to go back was the last straw. read more

Worst experience ever! Cindy is as nice as can be but managed to put way too much polish on my toes making it nearly impossible for them to dry in a reasonable amount allowed before I left the salon. This resulted in a couple of smudged toes. Completely not what I expected from a pedicure and a salon that a friend of mine had recommended. Then I had an older Asian man do my SNS nails. This was an even worse nightmare. They were very busy but even with an appointment this man managed to pull and jerk and push my hands and fingers around like I have never had before. He was hurried and took no pride in the application of the SNS. I chose a darker color that would be a problem for someone that knew how to apply SNS. The color was not applied completely on each with the actual nail showing around the edges of many of the fingers. I asked him to fix those nails and he pulled out his every board and kept throwing my fingers around and filing it hurt against polish and my skin saying that's all it needed. I insisted that he apply it correctly so he had to take the polish off a couple nails and reapply. I was so frustrated and actually ended up re for over 3 hours, completely ridiculous!! The best part is that Both pedicure and SNS were $73 which is the most I have EVER PAID. When I went to pay, Cindy who is the owner, made sure to point out that there is no line for a tip on the on the Credit card slip so wanted the tip included in the cost. From my experience owners of these establishments do not get tipped because they own the place tips are for employees. I was upset and just wanted to get out of there so I went ahead and left the tip. The story doesn't end there as I got in my car and drove away I realize that one of my thumbs was covered twice as thick with the SNS... I got 1 block away and turned around to have that fixed.... I'm seriously not that picky I just wanted my nails to look beautiful for my vacation. I can't even imagine anyone going to this place... the Old Asian guy needs to chill out and actually learn how to do this application. Asking for a tip is just horrible in my opinion and I wish I wouldn't have given them anything especially the owners... which I believe this guy is an owner as well. read more

I have been going to this nail salon for at least 6 years but after my last visit I am going to find another nail salon in the area. I am not a picky type person but for the last year or so it seems like they keep changing employees and I walk away disappointed in my nail fill in. Last week another new face did my fill in and the shape of the nails was not great and 2 nails were very crooked. I requested some Christmas designs and I was told by the Owner they longer had the chart to choose any designs but she called over a pedicure employee to give me something. She came over and did the design I request and it looked really bad and I said ok no design then owner stepped in and said she could do beautiful snowflake. The snowflake looked like a stick star .
