I'm actually shocked this place has so many bad reviews??? Been coming here off and on for a couple years (off due to being away physically at college) for acrylic nails and they always do such a great job !!! Like I get compliments all the time on my nails and I always recommend this place to friends I went through my photos dating back to 2019 to show y'all a bunch of different looks I've done (all acrylic nail fill ins-- which are only $18 btw???) Incredible place for really good prices. Also the nail techs walk me out to my car and buckle my seatbelt for me so I don't ding my nails on anything like they're so kind, and I always love hearing updates about their kids/family!! read more

my nails turned out okay, but my experience at the salon was a bit mixed. i had an appointment at a specific time with my friend, and unfortunately, we ended up waiting about twenty minutes (my friend even longer). i understand that salons can run behind schedule sometimes, so i tried to be understanding - especially considering the fact there were only two workers. however, i was charged before the service, and only afterward was i told that the design i wanted couldn't be done. during the appointment, the technician mostly spoke to a friend in another language and didn't engage much with me, which made the experience feel a bit impersonal. i'm hoping that this feedback helps improve future visits! read more

I have done my nails here the past 3 times. I get dip. My nails last so much longer. no chipping or breaking up to 3 or 4 weeks and i'm very hard on my nails. it's not a very "showy shop" but the service is excellent. i've been to many in the area in my opinion they are the best. read more

I've been coming to this place for years, mostly to get my eyebrows waxed (they do a fantastic job) with the occasional manicure or pedicure. Today, I stopped in to get a gel french manicure. A color gel manicure is $25 and a gel french is $30 - I went with the french. My nails were a bit flimsy and the woman helping me cut them shorter and put some strengthening solution on. She was meticulous when shaping them and asked me multiple times if I liked them, which I appreciated. The gel lamp was set to continuous instead of a timer, which was new for me. When she was done painting my nails, she had me leave my nails under the lamp for a LONG time. While she was waiting for my nails to dry, she was leaning her head back and taking a nap, which I thought was a bit strange. The tv had also stopped working and the woman helping me was speaking with her coworker in a different language, so it felt a bit uncomfortable. While it is not the best manicure I've had, I was satisfied with the way my nails turned out (I have included a picture). I also think the service could be improved a bit. read more

They have very cheap prices which is great and i've been getting acrylics here for about 4-5 months and i've loved them everytime sometimes a little nail polish on my cuticles but that's it. The salon smells very strongly of nail polish but for the price I think it is totally worth it the ladies are pretty nice but the wait is sometimes kind of long since there is only 2 people working there. read more

There are not words that describe how AWFUL was my experience in this place. The person who did my nails said he couldn't clean up the cuticle because he could cut me :$ He had something going on with the skin of his hands and got upset when asked him to wear gloves! I wouldn't even give a star. I just returned home from getting a gel mani, and it's already peeling off in sheets. I've never had this happen elsewhere. Of course I tried calling them when I got home and no one answered. Worst service ever. I'll definitely be going back tomorrow to get them redone!!!! read more

Went for manicure ($12), had a little bit of wait time as there were only 2 workers. The manicurist worked very fast, maybe a little too fast- as she made my cuticles bleed, which hurt for awhile. There also wasn't a lot of color selection, mostly a lot of reds and pinks. The manicure was okay but already started slightly chipping by the next day. I went to Nail Salon for a Shellac manicure. Strike One: I pulled up to the storefront and an employee was sleeping in one of the chairs facing the window. Once I opened the door, the nail tech perked up and advised me to have a seat and that someone would be with me shortly. I decided to stay knowing my manicure would be done by someone who hadn't just woken up. (my mistake) Strike Two: I had Shellac reminence on my nails and the woman took a drill to my nails to remove it. I asked her not to and that I would prefer to just soak them (Shellac is easily removed if you soak your nails in acetone for 10 mins and doesn't damage your nail.) She was persistent saying, "it's easier" if you drill some off. Lastly, I requested a French Manicure and she showed me a color saying it was "natural." It looks a little shimmery and yellow in the bottle. I told her that's not what i wanted and i would prefer something a bit more pink or just clear. She flat out said, no you'll like this it's very natural and very beautiful (paraphrased, this was broken English, which i'm fine with. I expected a language barrier). I told her i didn't want it again and she said, you'll see. I had already paid, as they charge you before they paint your nails. I have a yellowish/shimmering french manicure. I expressed my discontent with the dingy looking color and she said, no it's looks beautiful. I requested a refund saying i would happily soak my nails and leave with them bare so as not to have received a service for free. She said, no they are beautiful and that i should like them. STRIKE THREE. I will not return and do not recommend this salon. read more

Horrible salon!!! The woman doing my pedicure never looked at my toenails as she was filing, was too busy checking to see who the next customer coming through the door was. She filed my skin instead. She never massaged my feet. She applied lotion briefly to my legs and instead of rubbing it in, removed it. Total time spent on pedicure was 20 minutes!! Never going back there read more

After seeing not that many reviews, I was a little unsure about going into the Nail Studio. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. I was able to get a full set done for just $25 which is the best price in town as far as I know. The woman doing my nails paid attention to detail and made sure the shape was exactly what I wanted. More than that, she was incredibly kind and had a conversation with me while doing my nails, asking about school and telling me about her own family. You could tell that she really cared about her customers. After getting into my car to drive home, I swiped a nail across my steering wheel and completely ruined it. I went back into the salon and she not only fixed it for me, but then walked me out to my car and helped me get in/put my seatbelt on/start the car without ruining my nail again. She went above and beyond to help me out and I love my nails! I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be going back again. read more

Barely even got a pedicure (only cut nails and took a pumice to bottom of feet) and the manicure wasn't much better. No massage, no cuticle trimming, nothing. I choose to come to this Salon when I am in the area. I live about an hour north of Boston. I come because of the good service, AND the atmosphere is always professional and polite. Also, the charge for the service if reasonable. One of the fun things that happens when I am out is that people compliment my hands and how pretty they look. That's the best feedback for the the service, isn't it?? read more
