Everything under the sun happens for a reason, is my belief. Something even as trivial as a nail salon! My usual was closing too early for me, but Nail Studio was open until 7:30 p.m. I got a pedicure and it was just tremendous!!!!! I REALLY liked the scrub that "my girl" (I stink at names!!!!) used to massage my calves and feet. DEAR GOD - EVERYONE needs to have a pedicure - BLISS!!!!!! The massage chair was tremendous as well - not a wimpy, you can barely feel it, type, and I wasn't even sore later (or the next day). It's like a double dose treat! My feet felt amazing later on and the polish was done on point. "My girl" wasn't too rough, nor hurt me at ALL. Red polish, as usual, but that's my personal choice. I've now given this nail salon a handful of chances since the new owners took over, and I can say for certainty I will never be back. The service of every nail tech I've gotten is sloppy and rushed, and I don't like having to tell them no less than 5 times that yes I want a regular manicure over a gel manicure. The pressure is real to get gel over regular polish at this salon. When I pointed out obvious spots they missed with polish or screwed up, they seemed annoyed that I was asking them to fix their bad job. I was really hoping the first couple visits they were just still working out the kinks of it being under new ownership, but it looks like nothing has been changed. Avoid at all costs! read more

Worst place. Do not waste your money here. I went in for a wax, gel mani and pedi and left highly disappointed. The tech over waxed my beautiful thick eyebrows. She legit made them half their length and rounded out the shape. Its waxing 101 to follow the natural shape of the eyebrow. Never to make up your own shape. I'll have to pencil them in to make up for the missing hair. In tears about this. I usually go to Extra Nails in glendora but needed services and my usual spot was closed so gave this place a try. My pedicure was rushed and half assed. The technician was more concerned with watching the door that nobody was entering than focusing on what she was doing with my feet. I had to remind her to cut the cuticles. It was probably the worst pedicure I've ever had. Waste of money. Needless to say i decided not to get a mani after all. I'll just have to paint them myself. I refuse to give any more of my money to this place. Maybe its not the businesses fault, but the technician truly ruined my entire experience and my eyebrows. I have so many regrets right now. I feel sick just thinking about it. Im not one to ask for comped services when someone messes up, i just honestly want to pay and get the hell out of here, NEVER to return again. read more

Gel manicure took 15 rushed minutes. Asked me about the color, I stated It was too light, nothing done about it and she went on her way. Not professional to deal with money in front of customers with your husband and argue about it and openly neglect the dirt, etc.. of the business. The tech that gave me a pedicure was very unfriendly. Didn't say two words, just pointed and nodded her head when she wanted you to do put your feet in the water. I will definitely make sure I don't get her again. read more

i heard a lot of things about this place. good and bad. i walked in, and the man told me that it would only be a 15 minute wait. i sat there for an hour without even being talked to. the whole time i was sitting there, i was hearing a ton of complaints from other customers. the one lady said like her whole pedicure was messed up. and another was complaining about her manicure MAJORLY. maybe these women were extra, or maybe they were genuinely doing badly. when i FINALLY got to the station, the man was doing really good. he was talkative and patient. my nails came out pretty good, but he filed them after the paint was already on, so the edges are blank but besides that, their good. read more

Very clean and well-maintained. They have more shades of nail polish that I can sort through! I always just get gel polish on my natural nails and am always satisfied with the results. Some techs are chattier than others but I am fine either making small talk or just sitting quietly, so this doesn't make a difference to me. Their prices went up a little recently but it's still reasonable (now $30 for a gel manicure, whereas I believe it was $25 before - but getting my nails done is basically my only splurge so I don't mind a slight bump). I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. Overall I really like this salon. read more

I been coming to this place for about 4 years. Always loved the people, always made my nails look great. I went recently with the new owners, not impressed at all. My nails where not painted well. It's very blotchy on my nails, especially my toes. Somehow, black flakes got into the polish. Nicole didn't even take them out, just painted over them, which is very unprofessional. My refill wasn't properly blended into my real nail.. my nails feel as if I can snap them off. It's a shame because I've been a loyal customer for years. The new owners of this nail salon are disorganized and rude. I just waited almost 30 minutes for my appointment only to have Nicole try to pawn me off on another nail person. The nail techs definitely do an amazing job on my nails and I always leave a happy customer! They're very clean and hygienic, everything is thrown away after one use! I have had my nails done by this salon, all by different technicians each time for about 3 months now. I get gel polish and every time, they have peeled before the guaranteed 2 weeks. Once I was told it was because there were too many coats of polish ( technicians fault). the 4th time they peeled I finally went in to get them fixed which they say is "no cost." However instead of fixing the 3 nails that peeled 6 Days after they were done, they took off ALL of my nails. And basically said it wasn't there fault bc I have "oily nails" and gel polish won't work for me. I was forced to either leave with no polish at all, get the gel polish again that I was told will just continue to peel, or pay $35 (usually $45 for full set) for the gel manicure. I wouldn't recommend this place. Also the male (I assume manager) is ALWAYS outside smoking cigarettes by the front door. Which makes the place smell of cigarettes. I will continue to look for a better establishment!!! read more
