I went in for a pedicure and it was really relaxing! The staff were all super friendly. I will definitely be going back.

I broke a nail next door picking up a bag of dog food. I needed a quick nail repair and a new color added to the rest of my nails for a date that night. I walked in, was seated within five minutes and the nail tech got right to work. Within twenty minutes my nail was repaired, the rest touched up and a new color applied. A nice soft pink for my date with a girlie girl later that evening. I found the place to be clean, well organized, well run and the people were friendly. My nail tech was skilled, chatty and fun. The decor inside the shop is tasteful and a bit electric. I liked it. The price was reasonable and I left happy and looking forward to my date. Amazing how having a nice set of nails can boost your date night confidence. I surely recommend Nail Talk for your mani pedi needs. read more

I went to get my eyebrows waxed and a dip powder manicure. The eyebrow technician was very rough with my brows and actually took some skin off! That hasn't happened to me in YEARS. I would not recommend for waxing services. I gave 3 stars for the dip manicure. Once I got home I noticed parts of my nails that weren't covered by the dip. The tech was really nice, but I probably won't be back. read more

Bottom Line: They do not value appointments, overbook themselves and prioritize walk-in guests over appointments. If you want a professional nail salon that values your time and money, this is not it. I have tried Nail Talk twice and mainly because they are so close to where I live. I have had an appointment both times. The first time I went I was there for almost two hours for a dip manicure. They sat me down right away and began filing my nails. Another client came in and they soaked my nails in acetone cotton and left me for a half hour until they were done with the walk-in clients nails. Then they took the cotton off and proceeded to tell me another nail tech was on their way and I would need to wait for them because they had no one else. The woman who walked in after me with no appointment was finished and out the door before my nail tech showed up. Unfortunately, I tried again. I had an appointment and checked in on time. All the nail techs were clearly busy and I waited in the seating area. 4 walk-ins came in within 20 minutes and were told they could get their nails done even though the nail techs were not even close to being finished with their current clients, let alone those already waiting in the seating area with appointments. I waited for 20 minutes in the seating area and realized this was going to take at least another hour. I finally got up and left, I will not be back. read more

Went for a dip manicure about month ago. Beautiful spa , everything clean and nice . I didn't catch the name of the older lady that did my nails, but it was the worst dip I have ever gotten . Not sure if she needs more training or what but honestly I felt bad that new salon is being represented like that. I went one time to get a rebase and he did a wonderful job so so I was eager to go here for a fresh full set... boy was I wrong to go here. An elder lady started off doing my nails when the man took over. I asked for square with the edges pointy, not rounded. He kept rounding the edges filling them down way more than I had asked for. They aren't square yet not fully round. They are lumpy in places. The elder lady painted my nails which came out splotchy in person. I can't even file them to try to fix them myself because of the way he over rounded going up the sides of my nails so they look botched either way. On top of that they changed me $50 for it. Safe to say I will not be coming back. Take my word, though they are new, it's not the place to go. read more

I tried this nail salon with my friends for homecoming this weekend and I really enjoyed it! They were very kind and understanding and got everyone done relatively quickly. There were 7 of us plus a couple other customers and 4 professionals working, and they got to everybody and did a great job! Very clean and spacey salon. I got an acrylic rebase with a design and it was originally $38, but they took $5 off for each of us (making mine $33)! I really enjoyed my visit and highly recommend :) Thank you! read more

I recently discovered this great little salon near Wadsworth and Belleview and I couldn't be more pleased. I went in for a Gelish manicure and it exceded my expectations. My appointment was with Angie, who happens to be the owner, and she was very friendly and easy to talk to. I'm not the most talkative person, especially when I just meet someone, but I hate the "waiting room" feeling I get at other salons. That's not the case here. Worst manicure I have ever had! The technician did not know how to work with shellac. The polish warped and rippled because she put it on too thickly and instead of fixing it, she painted over it. It still looked terrible, but she did not say anything. She finished my nails in under ten minutes and didn't bother even putting lotion on my hands. A child could have done a better job. read more
