I usually have a great experience getting a pedicure with Nga but today was very disappointing. I was placed with another nail tech for a full set today and it felt rushed from the start. On one hand the tips of my nails were polished but not in the other hand. When I brung it to her attention, she stated she would file the color off however only part of it was filed off, polish was left on my skin and under my nails. She had an attitude when I asked her to fix it. It was a VERY frustrating appointment to say the least. I'll stick to just getting a pedicure moving forward. read more

It had been awhile since I'd been in for a mani pedi. Being 6mos pregnant I decided why not treat myself because bending to do my own pedicure is a but challenging now. It truly does depend on who you have doing your manicure here. Previously I had great experiences with Mimi and the owner but this time I was not impressed. My cuticles were aggressively just pushed down, tearing up the base of my nails. In addition, my my pinky and middle finger got snipped and were bleeding a bit and my thumb got cut so bad it took about 10mins before it stopped bleeding enough for the manicure to continue. Four days after, the gel began to lift on 2 fingers and kept snagging on my hair and clothes so I peeled a chunk of gel off of each of those fingers to stop the snagging. I booked an appointment and arrived 5 minutes early. (I was also with my mother.) We were taken in as scheduled and were sat in our pedicure chairs. Everything was ok, until we sat in lukewarm water for 45 minutes waiting to get our pedicures. 45 minutes. The pedicure itself wasn't bad at all, but it's their time management that is. Everyone was kind to us, but the amount of time spent in here was about 2 hours- just for pedicures. However, the work they did was not bad. If you're looking for a quick pedicure- this is not the place. However, if you have time, this would make a great girls day. read more

Because a lady walked in and knew one of the nails techs and she took her right away even after telling me that she was going to take me. 2. They spend too much time laughing and joking around in the back of the shop. I went there for a simple fill in and repair for one finger nail. The tech originally told me $25 then said oh I can't just charge you $25, it'll be $30 plus tax ($32.50)... EVEN after I waited 35 minutes to be serviced. This nail salon is the best! The technicians are up to date on training. The store is very clean. They have excellent ventilation. Their tools are sterilized and none of them ever use the same tool from one client to another. The quality of work is excellent. I have had just about everyone here care for my nails. They all are trained well and very good. Nina introduced me to color dip manicure which is the best ever! My nails which were very damaged before healed beautifully with this treatment. It brings nutrients to your nail and makes your natural nails stronger. My nails are so pretty. I have to keep them short due to my job or else I would have them long. I get compliments all the time. My daughter and I have been going here for ab out 6 months. There about two people in this shop that can actually do nails with PRIDE! the others are always in a rush, which represents bad customer service. This last nail visit was horrifying. Not only did they do my fat fingers like i have baby hands(half the acyrlic is missing on the sides) my gel not even 24 hrs later has started to peel off. When i asked the tech that this was not exceptable with half the nail not being done, i was told she could file my REAL nail off, so you could not see it. WHAT IN THE WORLD. MY REAL NAIL, WHYYYY! Now i have to go to another shop to have these monsterous nails fixed and spend another 50 bucks doing so. So they cost me in less than a week 150.00 between my daughter and I. I would give 0 stars if I could. I came in here to get my nails soaked off, they told me it would be an hour wait because they couldn't just soak my nails they had to drill them and cut them down first. I did some shopping and returned an hour later. Upon my return they did not drill my nails or cut them down, just soaked them in acetone while my nail technician went to work on another persons pedicure. After soaking for 30 minutes I realized that the nails were not coming off neither was the polish because it should've been drilled off. When I asked the neighboring nail technician about this he said I can't stop servicing my client to help you. I wasn't asking him to, just flagging that my service was being performed wrong. The lack of professionalism and inability to help was disgusting. DO NOT GO HERE! Spend your money where you are valued. read more

Wanted a last minute pedi and polish change. My regular place was closed on Sunday. Place is clean, and pretty. However staff could not understand me nor I them. The end result was a lot of pointing to what I wanted. The pedicure it self was lacking. No soaking just dip your toes and cut. Very uncomfortable and the girl would just tug at my foot to where she wanted it. My husband and I stopped in two weeks ago to get Pedicures, had an amazing time watching home makeover show while getting feet massaged. The women were fantastic and did an amazing job. Stopped in today, was told to take a seat at the first two foot baths. It was a dirty foot bath. The lady just got up from it and was getting her toes dried. They never cleaned it. By far the WORST experience I've had at a nail salon. I opted for a 'Deluxe' pedicure because it includes the massage... I got the 'Basic' pedicure treatment. When I asked why I did not get a massage they young man looked at me and shrugged his shoulders & told me to proceed to chair 8 for my manicure. 4/10 nails were bleeding when he finished. My toes had 3/10 bleeding. The price was outrageous & nothing was offered to me as compensation. For one thing they offer a discount if you pay cash. Well the one time I did pay cash I am not sure I actually got a discount. So if you want to throw your money away with this then you rock on. First time visiting here and it was great! The technicians are quick but not too quick, rather efficient. My nails and toes looks great! And the prices are quite reasonable. When you walk in the people here are inviting, very warm and sweet. I was expecting a very high expectation, seeing as they have such beautiful nails posted to their Yelp. I was highly disappointed at first. One of my nails were super thick, which needed thinned, the woman who painted my nails was supposed to do ombré and they just did not come up to par, they looked like it was a half finished paint job. I decided to check out Nail Talk as it is close to my house and I've been struggling to find a place that does quality gel manicures. Well, I don't have to look anymore! I've had problems with gel manicures peeling off and after going to Nail Talk, it's no longer a problem. In fact, they even have trouble removing them to do a new manicure! Instead of 8 or 9 days, I can easily go 3 weeks with no issues. I've been back many times and always get the same quality manicure. Pedicures are great too!
