I've been coming here for decades. Most the time it is okay. The prices are mid range and they do an adequate job. Today, I took my two daughters and while they were waiting for me to finish, the male owner snapped at my oldest daughter for sitting in the massage chair and using it. He said it was for customers only and I explained she was a customer bc she got her nails done. They said that didn't count. Wanted to like this place but can't! This review is for acrylic nails only (never tired anything else there). 1st try my nails were fine. They peeled off many of my existing acrylic set and started fresh. 2nd try they had to peel off 1 nail (2nd time in 2 weeks) and start fresh again since it was lifting on the corners. Unfortunately when I asked if they would use a primer so the acrylic would adhere the man assured me I didn't need it. Also, the man put the polish on so thick that they never dried. 4 hrs later when doing laundry every nail smudged as if they were just painted-I have to redo they myself. 3rd and last try was today. They were short staffed so I waited an hour to get in. Once I sat down the man was so busy directing pedicure people were to sit that it took another 15min before he started on my nails. I asked yet again if they would use primer and the man said no, he would just glue my nail back on since 1/2 of my nail was peeling off of the acrylic. After he filled my nails and glued them back on he was grinding the underneath of my nails and ground so deep that I jumped and pulled my hand away. He ground my flesh under my thumb nail! I asked him to not mess with that nail again, unfortunately he didn't listen and filed on it again causing extreme pain and bleeding. The disgusting thing is they use the same tools on everyone. Hoping he didn't make someone else bleed before me because then I would have their blood in my cut! I left without nail polish due to many of my nails beds stinging from grinding my flesh and my thumb bleeding. Sadly, I was still charged full price. At $15 for a fill...ya get what ya pay for! I found this place while walking through the mall. I made an appointment for mani pedi and waxing. This was the most disappointing overpriced mani/pedi in my life. The chairs are very uncomfortable no padding in the seats my butt was numb by the time I got up. The young man barely spoke English that's ok but I paid for the 40 pedi and wanted a massage I asked him to focus on the bottoms of my feet. didn't happen. The massage was half hearted at best. He did a semi job on my cuticles. Then the mani, he started filing then got the water he clipped my cuticles in 2 places one bled and he laughed and grabbed the super glue he uses for acrylics and dabbed it on the cut then my finger got stuck to his. Again he laughed. Terrible job on the filing and the cuticles. the waxing wasn't much better. Not what I have been used to. When I paid with cash he handed me my change and held a 5 in his left hand basically soliciting a tip. Terrible experience I will never return. read more

I've been to this place here and there sometimes. Only when I'm desperate enough. Not anymore though. Last time I came here, the nail guy (don't know his name) I got was disgusting. It wasn't during my time, it was after, but it was still nasty. As I was gathering my stuffs and head to wash my hands, he was already cleaning his bare feet (he was wearing sandals) with his bare hands, and putting on his socks and shoes. When I'm done washing my hands and turned back around, he was getting ready to clean another customer nails. He didn't even wash his hands! When I walked in they were all busy which seemed like a good sign I told them what I wanted I was asked to pick a color and take a seat...ok ok normal so far then they handed me their color choices, what a joke. There was no more than 20 to choose from and they were all pretty awful so I went with a classic white. I waited about 30 minutes for someone to free up which ended up being a 15 year old boy, seemed odd to me. I struck up a conversation with him asked him how long he'd been doing nails to which he responded "not long, my mom is teaching me" he points to the lady sitting next to him working on her own client and she instantly starts getting defensive with me saying she's training him An that's ok because it's a family owned business. I'm a licensed cosmetologist, you can't work on clients at all unless you are actively enrolled in school and have at least 200 hours under your belt which I'm gonna go ahead and assume he has neither because a. He isn't in school and b. She doesn't have her teaching credentials. She was very dismissive and rude kept trying to convince me that what she was doing was ok. Nope. The actual salon is DISGUSTING! Trash cans are over flowing sinks are gross and there's flies everywhere....the girl who ended up actually doing my nails was very rude didn't have much to say when I asked her about a certain design she refused so I didn't even really get what I wanted, she half assed my pedicure and made my nails way too short. Went to get my nails done with my niece yesterday. I'm not from Yuba. I was just visiting my sister them. Went in and they took us right then and there. However, they seemed so rushed. I didn't get my nails cleaned nor did I get them chiseled. The person I got was Nini? I believe that was her name. She asked me what I wanted and I said full set, rectangle nails with short black matte nails with the ring fingers being a glitter. She QUICKLY glued on the nails and as I looked at most of my nails, they were glued on crooked. I didn't say anything because maybe, just maybe she can fix them when she puts the acrylic powder on. When applying the powder and color, she made it look as if I had my nails on for a week already and I needed them to be filled again. And to mention again, I just got them done YESTERDAY! For my glittered ring finger, I wouldn't say it is glittered. She applied a black base and only ONE layer of glitter. I asked if she can make it opaque like her examples. She ignored and said "we're done". We paid $43 for my set and $40 for my niece's set. I don't know how my niece feels about her's, but I wouldn't want her to go back nor would I recommend this place to anyone else. read more

Wouldn't give me her name. All she did was apologize and then say she could do acrylic for an extra $15 - what happened to $8?! Nail tech who worked on my daughter came to explain - I had a hard time understanding her. Her explanations were basically apologetic and that was it. Would've been nice to rectify the situation with possibly free acrylic or a coupon for the next time but anyone who knows me knows next time will never happen. Beware! I went here today because my normal place is closed on Sundays so I thought I'd give it a try. It is my birthday so I decided to get a gel manicure and the #3 spa pedicure. Kim did both my manicure and pedicure. First off I was happy that they didn't do my manicure during my pedicure! I hate when places do that cause then I can't enjoy my pedicure. Anyways, my pedicure was the best pedicure I've ever had! She took her time massaging even though there were a lot of people walking in. She did a great job on the Polish and the design. They don't want to turn anyone away, so they tell u "10-15 min wait" end up waiting much longer than that , just to have ur nails rushed and sloppy, because they have a line waiting .had to return multiple times the next following days because either a nail (gel polish ) is already peeling or nails start popping off, this only happens to me here, when I go to my normal nail salon , they last 3 weeks until I get a fill. . Also when I go get my nails fixed that they messed up on , they make me wait as if I'm getting a new set, basically wait in line until they have time .. It's ridiculous. Got my eyebrows done here a couple times. I love the way it was done, and prob better than some other places I've been to; however, if there is one definite con I do not like about this, which is why I did not give it all stars, is the lady who did the eyebrows. Don't get me wrong, I love the way she did my eyebrows. It is just the way I was treated that second guess me if I was to go here again. She was not friendly, and wanted to do my eyebrows the way she wanted to, which is fine with me because I like how she did it, but she didn't really consider my suggestions. My daughter and I went in today. I got a fill and my daughter got French tip. I like how the man doing my daughter's nails asked if we want a gel coat which costs more. I said you're advertising $25 on the sign in the mall. What does that include? He stated that it was not a gel clear coat. I told him I would like to stick to the advertised price and he did. However, after he asked his question, the lady doing my nails stated that the color changing polish is $3 more.....I was so confused cause .....I asked for gel and they show me all the nail samples which has the color changing polish samples in it....but there is nothing on the board showing that the color changing costs more.... and by the way, she is saying $3 on top of the cost for gel!!! Not regular polish. So I asked, why? Why should this cost more than gel? They don't do anything extra than regular gel, so why should it cost more? It's not like they did a design on my nails....I told the lady thank you for telling me instead of just charging me but I don't agree that it should cost more. She did not offer to paint for the same cost as gel so I let her know that I'll be picking a gel color. So I'm giving 3 stars cause they do good work but I hate that I have to constantly ask what price it's going to be cause they add things on instead of being upfront from the beginning. read more

I took my grandma here to get a manicure and pedicure. It cost $50 for the combination. She picked out her color (OPI Polish) and the nail tech began to work on her nails. When she was finally finished and her nails were done drying we were about to leave from the mall. We were only a few stores down from the nail place when my grandma informed us her nails were already ruined. The polish was not dried even though my grandma had sat at the dryer (for her hands and feet) for 20 plus minutes. When we went back to show them they simply replied she should have gotten gel. For $50 she should have gotten more than such a response. Even though she did get it fixed, it was quite upsetting to see their reaction. The place was pretty much empty so you would think they would have been more careful about their work. I used to go here every two to three weeks but the attitude has changed quite a lot since I first started going here so I will be going elsewhere. read more

When I first walked in there were two nail artists ready to do our nails! It was nice to not have to wait. The girls were very quiet but nice. My nails are naturally really short if I grow them out a lot they are flimsy and break. So I told the girl this may be a problem. She glued the fake nails on quite weird. One of the nails was glued on crooked and looked very unnatural. I understand they are fake nails but they should kind of blend and look somewhat natural right. When I told the girl this she blamed them on my short nails. My question is how can all the other nails look good but one look terrible? She was very angry that I asked her to do it again. I thought that the customer was supposed to be happy. Especially because they are paying for it. She did it over again but the bows I asked to put on one of the nails was crooked and she didn't care to fix it. It cost $40! The nails look like I painted my nails myself and put a crooked bow on it. The artist didn't seem to care and was happy to see me go. I'm very disappointed. I will never go here again.
