I was beyond pleases with the service that I received here. I came in straight from the airport in dyer need of a mani/pedi and this place deliver. I got the basic pedicure which was far from basic if u ask me! It included a foot scrub, paraffin wax, and a hot stone massage that was to die far! And don't get me started on the massage chair that almost lulled me to sleep. After my pedicure I was whisked away to the manicure station which my nails were pampered and prepped for my shellac manicure. And to top it off as my nails were drying my manicurist gave me a neck rub! Talk about a nice added touch! I will definitely be retuning soon!! read more

I had my favorite place to get my nails done in VA Beach for the past 3 years. I just recently moved to Jax and this place was very close to home. I went in to get a fill. The atmosphere is awesome and the people were very friendly. Tina did my nails and I was not disappointed at all. They take so much time with you even for the basic $29 ( Its worth every penny) and then some. The hot stones are included, paraffin, scrub, leg massage. They take you to the dryer to dry your toes and give you a shoulder massage. They have private areas for the pedicures where you can come with a friend and have your own private "room", instead of an "all open-everyone can see you" type of atmosphere. They offer the option to have foot and hand reflexology with your mani-pedi and it is TOTALLY WORTH IT! In fact, I would pay extra for more time. First time here in a recommendation of a friend and I found my new go-to place. I live in OP and it's definitely worth the drive. I did gel nails and so pleased with manicure and their technique of painting on the gel. They were generous with the layers and made sure it was perfectly painted. Also my tech was fast and efficient but did one of the best manicures I've had! It's only been a day so I can't comment on longevity but I feel like it's going to last. So happy! Ok, I think I found my new nail salon home! This is my 3rd in 6 months but think winner winner chicken dinner here. The previous 2 were not "bad" but I was left underwhelmed with the results of my gel overlay nails. I got a gel fill with gel polish for $38 (paid +$30 at the other spots with regular polish and would have chips, nicks, and at least 2 broken nails within the first week) over 2 weeks ago and it is still pristine, shiny, and chip free; not a nick in sight! Only my nail beds tell the story of how old this polish is. Kudos to this joint! read more

These women working are so unprofessional. I went with a friend and the one working on my friends pedicure THREW chucks of some type of epsom salt into my water for my pedicure which hit my legs. She didn't say sorry even when she realized it hit my legs. Then an older lady doing my pedicure who didn't speak English and just started cutting and shaping my nails very short without asking, when she was done my gel polish wasn't even on my entire TINY toe nails which she had jus cut almost all the way down. she left all corners of my toe nails unpainted !!! The most disappointing thing was that I paid more for white gel polish because I expected it to be more white yet my friend with regular polish had brighter white color. Waste of money! What an excellent nail salon! My sister brought me to Nail Time for the first time over the weekend and I was very impressed. This is a large nail salon with private pedicure areas, friendly staff, and fair prices. Nail Time was very clean and we walked in and were seated right away. I got a pedicure, shellac removal, and an eyebrow wax. All services were done well and promptly. I have been going here off and on for the past 3 years. It's a nice, quiet nail salon where I can actually relax without a TV blasting in the background. The quality isn't as spectacular for the price, but I appreciate them always taking time on my nails. The other Nail Time locations I've been to (St. Johns Town Center and Mandarin/Julington Creek) almost always rush through my nails to get as many customers as possible. Nail Time has THE BEST hot stone pedicures. I literally melt every time I get one. The staff is really friendly and they have an awesome selection of colors for both traditional mani/pedi and gel. I also love the little shoulder rub you get when you sit down to dry. I got my mani first and she did an amazing job. One of the best gel manicures I have received in Jax, and the polish didn't chip after 2 weeks of wear. My pedicure on the other hand (which was done by a different woman) was very mediocre. It was more rushed and rough then relaxing and the paint job was meh. I am equating my pedicure to the woman having an "off" day because the lady next to me was very vocal in how amazing her pedicure lady was. Not a big fan. Been here a few times and each time has some sort of issue. The wait is to be expected, but I always end up leaving not 100% satisfied with the service for what I'm paying. Spending 70$ on a mani/pedi and getting $10 dollar kind of pedicure service isn't leaving a good taste in my mouth or my pocket. If you have the right technician I guess it's great, but I haven't found the right one yet. Lady next to me was there before me and I left before her. The atmosphere is relaxing but the service isn't personable. Feel like I have to find something to distract myself so I don't look like a crazy person just staring at my technician. When you first see Nail Time from the outside it honestly looks like it's not going to be a good Salon. Well here's a prime example of don't judge a book by its cover. When you walk in you are just shocked on how nice it is. The music is so calming and you hear water pouring. It doesn't look like your typical salon and that is why your shocked. It looks and feels more like a spa. I have to admit it is on the higher side but, you get what you pay for. High quality service and relaxation. Depending on who you ask some people might say price is just right. I 100% suggest you give this salon a try and bring people with you. The salon is set up like individual rooms. But, not closed off if that makes sense. Would be a great place to bring your friends and family. Have a pedicure party or something. It will like your own private spa party that you booked out for the day. 10 out of 10 recommend. Give them a try because you won't regret it. read more

From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like I was in a spa. Their decor certainly gets you in the right mood to enjoy a wonderful pedicure. I usually visited the town center location, but since I've moved to Baymeadows this is a wonderful treat. The hot stone pedicure was great, even was given a paraffin wax treatment on my feet. I got a pedicure and it was one of the best pedicures I've ever had. Tracy did a very good job with cleaning and cutting my cuticles and fixing my ingrown toe nail. I love when a tech can clean my cuticles well. I've had a gel mani twice at this location and I'm not too crazy about it though. I like OPI gel and they don't have a very good selection. They do however have a big selection of DND gel polish. I used DND for the first gel mani I received there and some of it peeled off within less than a week and made my nails dry and peely. The second time, I chose an OPI color and she put it on a little thick but the crazy thing is the polish turned a yellowish color! I think the polish was old. It started at my cuticles and a couple days later the whole nail turned the yellow color but at the very top of the nail it stayed the original color. read more

This place was amazing!!! Finally a nail salon that is more like a spa. I've always hated going up the nail salon. It takes too long and the ladies always talk in a different language and leave me feeling anxious by the time I'm done. They give you wine in champagne flutes! The deluxe pedicure is without a doubt the best I've had in my life. They will scrub your legs with real grapefruit! The pedicure area is very private and you can request a private room.
