Nail Spa has the best-value pedicure I've come across, with services included in their basic package that many places charge extra for, such as paraffin and hot stone massage. The time spent on leg massage in general is worth the trip here, for me, as it's a solid ten minutes spent on your feet and calves. The nail technicians are kind and careful; I'm always impressed with how healthy my nails look after visiting. The salon was even transparent and apologetic about a very reasonable price increase of about $2. They clearly put money back into the business, too, as they have nicely upgraded their pedicure massage chairs. I spent a lot of time away from Jacksonville for work, but when I want my nails done, I find myself waiting to come back here. read more

So since I've been in Jacksonville for the last six years, this is the third nail place I've been going to and I'm pretty happy with them for the most part and as we all know, there's one or two people that we only like to have our nails. I've attached a couple of pictures when he's done my nails and I've really liked them. I've tried to let a couple other people do my nails and I've come home and had to fix them. They weren't clean up as like they should be instead of going back I've just did it myself because I was a little irritated when you're paying 65 $70 for your nails I feel like you should get them done the right way and sometimes I have gone back and they fix them for me without a problem, so I would say that's the only reason why didn't give them five stars it just depends on who you get to fix your nails. There's two people that definitely recommend him and then there's a third person I'll go to other than if they're not available, I won't go to anybody else for pedicures is only one young lady that I like to do my nails because the other lady that was doing my nails, she was filing them down to thin. According to the other lady that was working there she said don't let her file your nails down anymore so I give them a 4/5. read more

I was searching for a place for a good thorough pedicure and I came here to check it out. It's in the same plaza as Publix. Natalie was so attentive to my needs and she pampered my feet. She did a scrub, hot towels and final piece of resistance hot oil massage for my poor feet. I tried it for the first time on a Sunday afternoon and expected it to be more crowded / for there to be a wait, but after checking in I was able to sit in a chair immediately! They have a nice selection of OPI polishes, my favorite brand. Best of all, the classic manicure and pedicure combination was efficient, thorough, and comprehensive. I hate having to sit in a nail salon for 2 hours to feel like you get a decent job. Both services took about 45 minutes, plus optional drying time. It'd be easy to come in and out when on a short time schedule or before an event in the future. Their prices are reasonable and even one of their younger male manicurists had great attention to detail. He saw me analyzing my nails and, without prompting, saw what I was looking at and corrected it immediately. Overall they offered great service and I'll definitely be back! read more

Disclaimer: I didn't know they were clusters and didn't educate myself before hand. So I got my lashes done yesterday and I got natural but didn't like it so she put wispy ones under them and they looks like this. My mom pointed it out while we were at Publix so I went in to get them fixed and she said she couldn't remove them so she just clumped them together.. this place is amazing for nails but I wouldn't recommend getting your lashes done here. read more

The last time I went to the Nail Spa in Baymeadows, I was told that I missed my appointment which had been the day before. I had called on Tuesday and specifically requested an appointment on Thursday. However they booked me for Wednesday instead and told me that I missed it. Today I showed up for another scheduled appointment only to be told that my appointment had been canceled. The nail technician called in sick... I get it...that happens. However, when I asked them why they did not call to let me know the appointment had been cancelled , they indicated that they had called me. I asked them if they had left me a message and they said no. Their response was that I should've seen that they had tried to call and I should've called them back. What?? If somebody calls and does not leave a message I have to assume that it's either a wrong number or not urgent. Who has time to call every number back to see what they want? If you're going to cancel someone's appointment, LEAVE A MESSAGE if you are not able to actually speak to them. This is not good customer service at all!! Clean, quick and allow for walk-Ins which is great since I never make an appointment. Paraffin wax, hot stones and hot towels make it all very relaxing. I think they do the gel application on for my manicure the best since they never put on too thick. Update- last two times I've had the same guy and his skills for mani pedi aren't acceptable plus they charge extra to remove gel that I pay extra for them to put on. My friend & I decided to get our nails done yesterday. We were looking for a place that wouldn't break our bank & still had good reviews! They treated us pretty well & my nails look great. Everything was clean & pretty sterile with a nice atmosphere. The reason I am only giving it 4 stars is because my pedicurist was a bit aggressive around my nails & when she sprayed my toes with alcohol it burned pretty bad. Today I experienced the same stinging after my shower so I'm assuming she cut up around my toes a bit. Other than that, I would recommend the nail spa. read more

My daughter and I got right in as walking for both pedicures and full sets. Very nice techs. The space is quite so you definitely can relax. Since I will be here for a bit I felt the need to do a play by play. We chose the Deluxe Pedicure $35 Full Set Acrylic $40/45 The pedicure started off great. The water was hot like I like it. I have always had ingrown toenails since I can remember and this place knows the correct way to handle them. It has been a while since I have found a place that can. I will say I didn't see them put any foot disinfectant in my bath but I could have missed it. I will say they used the cheese grater on my feet and I don't like that. I am regular on pedis so I feel it was not necessary. The salt scrub smells fantastic. It is a citrus of some kind. The hot stone massage was nice and the paraffin wax was great. In the end it was a mask with hot towels!! Wow!! You get your monies worth here. My daughters feet are extra sensitive and her tech was conscious of it and made sure she was comfortable the whole time. She did not use the grater on her which was good since she is a teenager. Not sure if this is a preference of each tech or not. Now when it comes to nails my tech did fine for the most part but my daughters tech Kelly was outstanding!!
