Decided to check out this spa today as recently moved to the beaches area. Red gave me a pedicure ($65) and I must say she was super sweet. SNS is supposed to be the healthier option for nails yet they use a gel top coat and UV light.

I've gotten my nails done by Marie before an they were really bumpy. I honestly didn't notice until I got home. The nail salon is really nice though but then I was told Marie didn't even have a nail license. Which makes sense because I never saw one hanging up in her nail room. How is she doing nails at Aylins salon without a license ? It just doesn't sit right with me an I won't be going to that salon again. read more

This place is amazing. I'm New to the area and was at the chiropractor down the street, did a yelp search and decided to come here. I got the deluxe pedicure , it's 30$ but was 3$ off and it included the wax , sugar scrub massage and a regular massage , callous remover. Very nice and clean salon also. The toe nails were cut too short and the raw Skin was then filed down and now my toes are burning up (probably due to an infection)...Additionally the nails weren't even filed down smoothly! Do not recommend. It was a ghost town on a Friday afternoon when usually Friday afternoons are typically the busiest! Tom did an awesome job with my SNS. First time as I just moved to town. Went to the place I had been going to an there was a 2 hour wait?! Got to be better places out there....so glad I found Moxxie. I am not someone who uses Yelp, but my experience here was so bad I downloaded the app. First off, Mary answered her cell phone every five minutes. So I was there WAY longer then I should of been for a classic gel pedicure and gel manicure. Second, this place is half ass. Classic pedicure includes a lotion and hot stone massage with hot towels. She barely did a lotion massage on my legs, and rubbed the hot stones on my legs for .5 seconds. For the manicure, she rushed through it and wouldn't let me keep my nails under the UV light for the whole 60 seconds, so as I sit here writing this I currently have a broken nail because my gel polish is so crappy. The polish isn't covering my whole nail either. I will NEVER go back there. I should of figured the place was terrible just by walking in and being the ONLY customer, but you would of thought I would of gotten A+ service for being the only person there. Just moved to Jax and after a few months of searching, I finally found my nail spot. It's clean, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, it's relaxing, and they use good products. They always spend a lot of time on my acrylics, making sure they are even with the perfect length and shape, and are gentle with the drills and filing. They have a good assortment of colors. I like that they aren't as busy as their other location, because they take their time on me and don't rush me through to get to their next client. And since I don't come during rush hour, there is never a wait for me to be seen. Definitely recommend this place! read more

If I walk into a nail salon at 6:50 and you close at 7:30 please tell me that you can't take me rather than make me wait 30 minutes (started at 7:20) because everyone is busy AND have a nail tech rush the entire process and give me a shitty ass service. Let me tell you that I will NEVER come here again. Not only did this lady do a crappy ass job but she did on my nails what she wanted. I wanted a French full set not pink and white. She tried convincing me for 15 minutes but at the end I told her I wanted PAINTED FRECH she said No I won't do that. Guess what she did on my nails???!!? Pink and white!!! She then filed my nails round I wanted squared. My nails are uneven, ugly and lifted. At the end she told me to put BOTH hands inside the UV thing that dries gel nails. One fucked up. I did not feel like telling her to fix it because at this point I wanted to get out of there. IM NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN.
