The lovely gentleman who did my nails was quick but a perfectionist. He repaired a break in one of my natural nails before giving me a great no chip. (I like my nails short.) Now I am neither a cheerful mischievous sprite or a petite vivacious woman, but I found a lot to like about the Pixie Nail Spa. Foremost, I like the ability to book online. I like the hours of operation (9am-7pm most days, closed Sunday). I liked that street parking is available (plentiful in the evening when I was there, probably busy on weekends). The spa is bright and spacious, with a lot of manicure tables and pedicure stations. More to like: friendly staff, offers of beverages, quiet (on a week night). Sarah did a great job on my manicure, which still looked pretty fresh from almost 2 weeks ago (thanks Canyon Ranch!). I chose a neutral color and added Dazzle Dry (another thanks to CR). I much prefer this to a no-chip because there are NO drills involved, it dries quickly and it's vegan/gluten-free (not gonna eat it). I think I'll look for dazzle dry in all future manicures. I would like a greater variety of colors in the DD choices, and my manicure was pretty basic. TLDR? 4.5/5 stars
