I've visited Nail Bliss many times & each time I have a good experience. I will be honest, some days are better then others- but it is up to you the customer to make that change. A few visits ago they didn't have matching gel & regular polish that I liked & I tried out a new color. I was unhappy with it, so I asked if we could start over & instead of saying "no we close soon," the staff redid everything with a smile. I made sure to tip well that day since she did the work of two manicures! The music/tv selection is ever changing & but they are always willing to change the station/channel if you ask. One day it was rap & another it was country. Most days it's HGTV. All staff wear masks, gloves & manicures are behind the clear plastic table guards. I do not worry about covid safety precautions here, they are sanitary and safe. In regards to quality of work and customer service, I think they do a great job. They are honest with customers if they are not able to complete their requested task before closing & I would much rather have my nail technician focusing on my nails than stopping to greet a new customer. Terrible experience -- I do not recommend this salon at all. I went in expecting a relaxing and professional service, but it was the complete opposite. First, the staff was rude and seemed annoyed to answer any questions. When I finally got seated, the nail technician rushed through the entire process and was rough with my hands. (It was obvious that they were short staffed and had booked more clients than they could handle). The tools did not look clean, which made me really uncomfortable. I politely asked for a fix, but she acted like it was my fault and made no real effort to fix it. The manager on site ARI has the absolute worst attitude. Rather than finding a resolution she becomes automatically defensive and makes the situation worse. (People who act in such a way towards others have some serious internal issues and it shows. Should probably consider another job instead of being miserable taking it out on customers). If ARI is who you have in charge to represent your business, it is going to go downhill. She has no people skills whatsoever and is not deserving of a manager title. This was one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had. Poor hygiene, unprofessional staff, and terrible customer service. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values their clients and don't make your experience rushed. After visiting Nail Bliss for the first time, I will not be returning. The owner is extraordinarily rude and unprofessional to both staff and customers. She does not greet customers or welcome them in to the salon when they arrive. The way she speaks to her employees is disrespectful, and quite frankly, disgusting. She does not interact with them other than berating them or telling them whether or not to take clients. The price-gouging for any and all services that most salons offer as included services is a massive turn-off for wanting to revisit the shop as well. However, I am extremely impressed with the nail techs' kindness and professionalism despite the way they are treated. Both of them were very sweet and welcoming. I hope they find a shop where they are appreciated for their hard work, expertise, and excellent customer service. This was my first time here since all places were closed during Memorial Day and I just moved to the area. I had a pedicure then decided to get no chip. I told her since my index finger nail broke if she could add extension. I mentioned it to the lady doing my pedicure and the lady doing my nails. The nail tech then asked me if I wanted to cut my nail, I said, "yes, but not too short." Before I knew it she had cut all my nails short, I was upset but never showed it or said anything because I figured it's a language barrier (the workers seemed to be Koreans) and I should've been clearer. Then she started to put no chip polish and I reminded her off the extension for my broken nail. She absolutely could not understand me so the owner explained to her what I wanted. After putting the extension, she continued to paint my nails and I saw she was about to put the top coat and I realize the paint was blotchy. It was of the Nailpolish was old and mixed in with thinner. So she put a third coat and the put the top coat. When it was time to pay, I paid with my credit card and put the dollar amount and left. The nail technician came running out and yelled angrily, "YOU SIGN THIS, YOU STUPID!!" I was absolutely shocked!!! Apparently I did forget to sign the receipt (an honest mistake) but to yell out that rudely at the parking lot to a customer who was never rude despite the poor quality service was such a turn off. She then proceeded to run in doors. I thought about going inside to confront her and asked why she had to be so rude but didn't bother wasting my time. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE! I had my nails done by Eddie. He was very detail oriented and efficient. I got their No chip service and had a great experience. Initially he removed my previous no chip with the typical alcohol and foil tips. He then he placed my hands in a plastic wrap and in two heated hand warmers. I had never experienced this before, but it was very relaxing and made the no chip come off so easy. I wanted something cute and bright for spring and he did a great job! I had been going to Nail Bliss for years and my experience had always great - reasonably priced manicures, clean salon, and fast and meticulous technicians. Recently, I went in not knowing that it was under new ownership and the experience was completely different. My sister's technician made her sit there for 5 minutes as she she finished giving herself a no-chip manicure. She then proceeded to check her phone throughout the manicure and to clean a nail brush with nail polish remover that she poured directly onto the bare table. When we passed this information along to the receptionist, the technician was, again, finishing up her no-chip manicure with another customer waiting in front of her. The receptionist told us that she'd pass the information on to the new owner; however, the new owner was sitting next to the technician doing her own nails and didn't seem to be phased. I was really excited to come to this place because I read the reviews so I called to make an appointment over the phone. when I arrived with my boyfriend they didn't have anyone for us. So what it looked to be the owner or the manager? Asks me what do we want to get done, then I tell her "2 manicures, 1 pedicure, one of the manicure is a no chip" then she proceeded to ask me again what do We want to get done,so I Repeated myself.! The she said "2 pedicures and one manicure?" And I said no "2 manicures 1 pedicure, I called over the phone" she kept apologizing and tells this girl "Ann" Or Ane" to work one me. "Ann" got up from her chair making faces and giving me dirty looks. I asked her to please get the same no chip color on my toes, she tells me to go look for it......... I had to ask another technician to help me out because I couldn't find it. She was really nice btw and she looked happy to help me out. When "Ann" was was doing my pedicure she burned me twice with the water, she kept pushing my feet and being really aggressive, she also was pushing my cuticles over and and over and she started hurting me until I asked her to stop. She started doing my manicure, it felt like she was rushing. I had to ask her twice to cut my cuticles and to make the nails the same shape. She cut me with the cuticle nipper. She started to paint my nails and she couldn't find the polish. She started looking for it and comes up to me and says "did you take it?".....I told her "no" Then she finds it next to her on the other table and she yells at her co worker "why you stealing you stole the nail polish" and then.... they started arguing on their language, I've never felt so uncomfortable. She did a horrible job painting them too. When i got home I realized my toes and my hand don't even match Overall it was a bad a experience and wouldn't come back here. I HAD been a Nail Bliss customer since early 2012 and stayed on for all these years due to the clean, pleasant surroundings; consistent, professional service regardless of who provided the service(s); and utmost attention to courtesy and attention initiated by Sue and Ben and mirrored by all staff. Since new ownership took over in Nov/Dec 2018, the atmosphere and service has all but deteriorated. I kept an open mind but noticed a difference as soon as Amy was on her own (after Sue and Ben left after staying on to assist with the transition). Once the full hand-off was made, I immediately noticed a lack of attention to the upkeep of the shop, not to mention the inconsistency of each tech's work. The shop and staff (except for Jocelyn!) look unkempt. Having always had a no-chip French mani with soak off, the mani's I've received since new ownership have barely lasted into the second week. What's worse, the price for this service went up. The quality of the finished product not only went down, it has all but bottomed out. I suspect that better-quality products (O.P.I.) are being replaced with inferior products (like pouring cheap liquor into top-shelf bottles). My most-recent visit was moved up one-week early because my existing mani had chipped so badly. I only went back because my punch-card was full and I received my 'free' mani. However, much to my surprise and discouragement - unlike the past seven years - the new policy is that only $30 is 'free' - they charged me $8 - for soak-off and because it is a French mani. Further, one person started on my nails and when I returned from washing my hands in preparation for the final polish, another person was sitting in her spot. I actually thought I was at the wrong station! I used to feel very welcome and looked forward to my Nail Bliss appointments. However, this is no longer the case. As was never done previously, the techs now speak to each other in their native tongue while working on customers; this makes me very uncomfortable. Amy seems clueless as a business woman - at least on the customer service/'people' side. Rather than greet me (or anyone, for that matter) with any sense of caring and/or friendliness, she barely says hello and is very unenthusiastic (I've noticed this every time I've been there since Nov/Dec 2018). Business-101 dictates that a business owner at least ACT like they care and appreciate their customers. There is more to running a business than the bottom line. In fact, there will be no bottom line if other customers share my feelings and do not return. My visit to Nail Bliss on Sat 3-23-19 concludes my business with this once clean, professional and thriving shop. It is a shame to see it being driven into the ground. Cathy M. read more

I've been coming here for a few years now. Not monthly or anything like that, but a few times a year and I've always been treated very well by staff. Today, it was even better. They book my appt last minute prior to closing, gave me an excellent manicure and pedicure and were friendly and warm the entire time. We had a great conversation, they both were so very helpful and accommodating, and took great care of me. It's great to know there are wonderful nail technicians like Ester and Rachel who take pride in what they do, care about the customer and even want to know your name. Went to get my nails done here today as a walk-in after reading all the great reviews. I went in to get stiletto nails with nail art on my ring fingers. As I walked in and approached the counter there I was not greeted at all just asked what service I was looking for. I explained that I needed full gel set with nail art. I didn't have to wait long to get started. The technician didn't greet me either as matter of fact she barely said a word after I told her what I wanted. They paired me up with someone that has no clue about stiletto nails, or how to make the nails appear as natural as possible. (my nails were to thick)I have gel past my cuticle line on my fingers so no way was I going to ask for extensive nail art. I asked for a few rhinestones on my ring fingers and could tell that it was not going to look nice. Pros: - Comfortable pedicure massage chairs - Probably 7 chairs in all so can accommodate groups - Bliss pedicure and manicure include leg massage and hot towel - Place is busy so must have a host of loyal customers - Nails came out well done - no bubbles or missed spots Cons: - Scheduled appointment at 5:15pm and they didn't get started until nearly 5:40 (although they sat me in the chair) - Ambiance is basic, more of a "I do this for maintenance" than as a special treat kind of feel Tips: - Make an appointment - even midweek. I don't know what I've been getting done for all those years, but it was pampering. Now, Nail Bliss... Nail Bliss IS pampering. Honestly, guys. My experience here was unlike any other mani/pedi experience I've ever had. Above and beyond and then beyond a little bit more. I walked in after work on a Friday and got lucky they were able to squish me in. There were easily 60 people in the place either being serviced or waiting to be serviced and I was apparently the only one who didn't get the memo about making an appointment. The girl working the front counter with the appointment sheet seemed to have been run a bit ragged, but she was able to slip me in with Kay for my gel fill and another person for my pedicure. The color selection, I'll be frank, was sh*t. It was the smallest selection of colors at any nail salon I'd ever seen, and it's tucked a small corner so only one person can browse at a time, but I guess with so many people moving toward OPI no-chip, the bottles aren't as necessary as they once were, plus, I brought my own colors. Kay was awesome with my nails, the perfect convo/non-convo ratio and my nails are stunning. I had an odd request for my left and right hands to be painted to very different colors, and he didn't laugh or make fun of me, instead he said he thought it was cool that I was doing something different and not boring. Right on, my man. So anyway, I'm crazy about my nails being short. I'm very particular about this and is the first person who's ever gotten it right so I didn't walk out with bad, super thick, curly acrylic looking nails. My nails look natural, perfectly shaped, shiny, short, just absolutely the most ideal nail experience I've ever had. My pedicure was, oooh I don't even know how to say this without being vulgur, but, I think I came. It was D-vine. First off, they have a timer they start at the beginning of your service that counts down the minimum amount of time a pedicure should take, so there's no option for the pedicure to be rushed. I tipped my gal well before she even started my pedicure and she made it worth it- easily went for an hour. Sososo much massaging. It made the hair on my arms and head stand up it was that good. I've never had anyone go town and work it out on my legs like that- it was like an out of body experience. And the icing on the cake was that I got to watch Real Housewives of Atlanta with closed captioning on their multiple screens, all tuned to lady-vision stations like Bravo, E!, etc. Normally I'd roll my eyes if anyone said that, but I don't have cable anymore and dag nabbit, I miss me some Nene Leakes. After my first visit to Nail Bliss, I knew the bar had been raised! I've come here many times and have yet to be disappointed. A co-worker recommended them to me after she got her nails done for her sister's wedding. So I told my best friend about it and her and I have been coming here consistently for the last two months. The technicians are very gentle and listen to what you want. My friend and I will show them pictures of unique designs that we find on Pinterest and they always do a phenomenal job of replicating it or designing something similar. Their staff is always extremely nice and super professional. It's also probably one of the most relaxing nail spas I've ever been to. The lighting and ambiance is great, really sets the mood.
