I have been coming to nail world for my nails and pedicures for 20 years. They have grown this salon from a two station operation to currently 10 nail stations and 10 pedi chairs. I feel like I have watched James and Ana (the owners), grow up and they certainly have watched my daughter grow up! In September they will be doing nails for her bridal party! Her first manicure was here, when she was 3 years old! These people are very hard workers and are diligent about seeing to my requests (which have been crazy at times!) I have never had an issue ever with lifting, or fungus, not once. As they have grown they have become very busy and I am happy for them to be living the American dream! They do their best to get customers in a chair as quickly as they can and truly desire that everyone have a lovely experience. Their prices are the best in town to boot! Highly recommend! read more

I have gone to several different places over the years (because I moved out of the Central Valley for a couple of years) but have never found anywhere that does a better job. This is the worst business establishment I have ever been. There are ZERO customer service skills here. I felt extremely uncomfortable with the technician doing my manicure, so my hands got tense, so he decided to slap my hand and tell me to relax. It was the most appalling. Another particular thing that bothers me the most is how they tell all customers "15 minutes" but end up making customers wait over an hour just for a simple service as an eyebrow wax. Having been a loyal customer for over 3 years I recently began to just hate this place. 1. Ridiculous wait times they might as well not accept walk ins. But it's still a long wait even when you have an appt! 2. I ALWAYS tip my technician, $5+ since I pay with debit and they still ask me to pay in cash next time. THEN WHY DO THEY HAVE A SIGN UP SAYING THEY ACCEPT VISA?! Extremely rude considering that I am tipping more than people usually do. Anyhow, i absolutely recommend Anna for waxing. I have been coming here for years as a walk-in and have had to wait 1hour+ which is understandable being a walk-in. I called last week to make an appointment with Tammy and they scheduled me for Monday at 12:30. I got here at 11:50. The man sitting in front says that I would have to come back later because Tammy won't be done with her client until 1:30. I said it's going to take an hour into my appointment time, what was the whole point of scheduling an appointment then. And he says "yeah sometimes clients want more designs so it takes longer" so I said I'll just have someone else do them because I'm not waiting until 1:30 for her to start on me when I had a scheduled appointment. She finished the lady she was working on and someone else sat in her chair at 12:15. So what he told me was complete bullshit, she double or over booked. This is the last time I'm ever coming back to this place. And if they can't say your name they'll just skip you and go on to next persons name that they can pronounce. I did look at the list and see that they skipped me and I asked the man in front and he said your next and I was like well I should have been called right now and he's like he only has 30 minutes he doesn't have time for that and I was like it says that he just called this girl and she needs a full set too and he says he's just applying tip and someone else will finish. Never come back again. Rude, impolite and on top of that they told me 10 mins wait and I was waiting over an hour. They do have a lot of people working there but they move like turtles. I pedicure took over an hour and half . I would appreciated it if my massage was longer. They took over an hour just trimming my cuticles which I know I don't have that much . I get a pedicure fine regularly . She cut me and after I said ouch she started speaking to her coworkers about something from the look on their faces I think they were talking about me. She did not offer an apology or try to stop my bleeding . My injured toe started to throb so bad the next day. I got an infection from it. Took it a couple weeks to heal. I love Nail World, I can get in without an appointment and get exactly what I want fills, pedi, wax. Of course when you don't have an appointment it is on a first come first serve basis. If the wait is long they inform you of it and they give you the option to write down your number and they call you when your turn is coming up (so you have that option of not waiting) as they hold your place in line. A majority of these reviews are negative, but why are they always packed? Because they are worth the wait which is why they have an abundance of customers. Nails do not lift and last a minimum of 4 weeks nor do the pedicures chip . They also make sure the pedi tub/bowl is wrapped as a precaution (who else does that literally no one). So maybe you wait a little but you get what you pay for and thats quality and precision. And to the person saying the owners are not friendly? Are you kidding the little short guy in the from (James the owner) is always cracking jokes... YES, English is some of the staffs second language so they are a little shy which is totally understandable?? read more

This place honestly, was horrible. The only reason it's not a one star is because, we didn't have to wait long. The lady I got, dug into my toe nail til where it bled. Now it is infected. It started pussing and what not and I can barely walk on my foot. The staff is honestly pretty rude. I tried talking to my pedicurist and she ignored me. And honestly. It was a waste of $35. They are always packed in the afternoons, so if you hate waiting long hours then you should go when they barley open. I have always been happy with my full set gel nails. Nails are okay. Was getting acrylics and they cut my finger to the point of it bleeding then continued to add more products irritating the cut. Long waits even after you book an appointment. I would NOT recommend going for a walk in appointment because you'll be waiting hours. Every time I've been here I never get exactly what I asked for and if you ask them to fix it they make a big deal out of it. Told me that I could go in for free to take them off once they grow out but charged me $10 last minute even thought all they did was dig an unused acrylic underneath it and rip it off. I don't use my yelp often other than to find places to eat or things to do. With that being said, I had to leave a honest review... I went to get a gel mani/pedi. The wait times are ridiculous. Once I was given a chair the water was cold and the tech started rushing the pedicure right away. I felt like I couldn't even relax because within 15 min she was already ready to paint my toes. It was obvious that she was just trying to rush people through. I was moved to a different chair for my mani and it was the same thing, rushing to get me done. While I was getting my nails done a lady asked how long would the wait would be for a fill and they told her an hour. Literally a minute later someone called and asked about a gel manicure and she told them come in we can do it right now... It's clear that they will do whatever it takes to get as many people in and out as they possibly can without caring about any sort of customer service. I felt like $73 was a rip off! read more

I let the tech know first my nail is a bit sore so she can be very careful. Well... she nearly drilled my pinky nail in half with her metal drill. I pulled my hand back once I felt the burning pain of what was happening. She then said my nail was broken after you can clearly see a line from her drill clear across my nail. She then put primer that made my hand sting and put acrylic right over it and act like nothing happened. Horrible nail tech, I would not recommend. My nail is still throbbing. read more
