I will start by saying that this is only my second review ever written, but the entire experience at Nail Zone was so horrible here I am. I went in to get a dip manicure done, and previous dip manicure removed. I was there for two hours (typically an hour long process). She completed the manicure in a way I had never seen but didn't say anything because they are the professionals. When it was the final step she kept touching the wet nails and I walked out of there with one nail messed up (my fault for not having it fixed). Over the next 6 days the nails on both hands started to look like the polish had "shattered", and they cracked and chipped. I made an appointment to have it taken off on day 6, I asked if it could be done for free since I had paid $65 to have a service that was not provided and they agreed. When I got there the nail tech who had done the manicure said that the problems with the nails were MY FAULT! She said it looked like my nails had been in acetone... which is not true. After considering how she did my nails she doesn't know what she is doing and should not agree to do dip manicures. Also to place blame on the customer for a bad job, is just the worst customer service I have ever experienced and she made the entire situation uncomfortable and awkward. Not happy with my service at all. I got gel nails done and the next day, several were chipping. Also, all of the my nails were different shapes, some rounded and some flat. Additionally, The color I selected was a bright yellow. The coverage was very spotty and inconsistent. This color requires an extra coat, I assume, but that's not what a received. The color looked watered down and not opaque. I came back within two days, explained my issue and they agreed to fix them, which I appreciated. However, I felt very uncomfortable the whole time. The staff was offering massages to every single costumer around me while they got their nails done except for me. I assume it's because I'm a male, which I understand might be unique but that does not mean that I should receive less quality service. I also am a paying customer, I tipped BOTH nail techs that worked on me and still received half-quality service. These photos were taking barely 12 hours after my original appointment. read more

A friend took me here to get a pedicure. I haven't had one in forever because my feet and calves are soooo sensitive and ticklish that I gave up trying to get them. The pedicure was wonderful. The woman was attentive and although not very social she did a great job. The best part is they use these warm soft smooth rocks to massage you and it was really comforting! I didn't give it a 5 because the woman wasn't talkative and the place is pretty clean but not outstanding. read more

We didn't have an appointment, but my friend got in about 30 minutes before me and told the team that I was on my way and we'd like to get manicures and pedicures together. The team got my friend started, and when I arrived in 30 minutes, said they didn't have room/time for me. So I sat with my friend while she completed her mani-pedi, and towards the end of her service, they finally had time for me to get a manicure. I decided to get just a simple manicure in the interest of time (and because they didn't take the time to show me the gel options), and by the next day (today) the manicure is already completely ruined because it smudged/textured overnight. I called and made a 3:30 appointment for a mani/pedi. They did not get me in a chair until 4:10. Even then, I was just sitting there, waiting. It seems that they had no respect for my time. After wasting 40 minutes of my time - I could no longer wait due to other obligations. I believe they take walk inn's no matter what. If I make an appointment, I expect the salon to keep their word and not take walk inn's when they know it will put them behind so they cannot meet the needs of a client who has taken then time to call and book an appointment. Came here on a weeknight and was pretty slow. Felt like I was unwelcome and my mani/pedi rushed through. I asked for a design on my ring fingers... You know , like typical flowers that almost anyone can do... Instead I got a tiny fake stud that will fall off in about an hour and got charged an extra $5 for each. What an utterly pleasant surprise this salon was. Came in without an appointment on a Sunday morning. Nami gave me an excellent gel manicure and toe polish change. My nails were beautifully shaped, and the polish - one week later - is still shiny and bright. Nami was efficient as well. I was in and out in an hour. This place has wonderful staff and a relaxing ambience; however, I received dip polish on my fingernails and within only one week, the polish had chipped off on several of my nails. My dip usually lasts for at least an entire month. My friend loves their shellac services but I wouldn't recommend the dip nail polish. read more

I have been going to Nail Zone on and off for two years. Mostly for pedicures. I never really paid much attention to my finger nails. Until I got a shellac manicure. Shellac is way more durable than polish and it is dry instantly. Now my nails always look great! At Nail Zone they are always warm, welcoming and they do a nice job. read more

They squeezed me in on a Sunday evening before a holiday for a gel mani and deluxe pedi. With calling ahead, I still waited about 10 minutes - which is completely fine considering I take forever to pick out my color! Jojo gave me an amazing deluxe pedi, that I swear lasted more than an hour itself. It was very thorough, massage was great. She also helped me match the gel color I picked for my mani to the exact OPI shade of regular polish for my pedi. When we were working on my mani, I noticed that the gel was showing up wayyy lighter than expected/than what the swatch showed, and I was a little concerned because we were already on the second coat. Jojo assured me (and showed me) that the color was correct, and proceeded to do an additional half coat to darken things up a bit. This extra little care and attention to detail was very appreciated, and got my nails looking exactly like the swatch. Fast forward two weeks, and my gel mani has held up 100%. My toes still look great too. I'm considering stopping in this week for a polish change before my upcoming trip. Overall great experience and environment, good prices, and a 5 min walk from my apartment. Definitely recommend, especially if you live in the area! read more

I love this place !! It's so clean! Everyone is so nice! My nails always look amazing! They really take their time and it's literally one of the best pedicures I've ever had! They do all different types but even the least expensive one gets you hot stones, a hot towel and an amazing massage! And their gel nails actually last almost 2 weeks which is how it should be !! The best thing about this place is the massage and location other than that I would not hurry to come back here. I have been coming here for more than a year but the last fe4 months have not been good. Recently the The woman cutting my nails had the hardest time cutting them- perhaps sharpen the tools? When she filed my nails she kept missing the nail and would scrape my skin. Overall she seemed lost on how to even do a pedicure. My friend told me about this place, so we found ourselves here this weekend. I had a very good experience here. When/if I get a pedicure, I want the experience to be relaxing. That's just what this visit was for me. In addition to the hot stones that are just part of their standard pedicure, you get a nice little shoulder/neck massage while in the drying room. It's those nice little touches that just make it that much better. I read that there's some spotty customer service- I'll wait to see about the consistency in customer service to judge that, but overall first visit was good! read more

*****Update**** Went back to Nail Zone today totally excited to get my nails done because my last time was so great and brought my sister with me this time. We made an appt for two gel manicures at 2pm. They didn't start working on my sisters until 2:30!!! The girl who was doing mine was rushing through mine so quickly that she barely did cuticle removal, and that was done AFTER the polish. The polish was also messed up at the tips and she didn't even fix it. I feel like I should have gotten a special price since it was basically a speed manicure. I did not at all feel like they I was pampered like I was PAYING to be. Maybe the last time I thought it was so good was because I was the only customer there. Terrible, terrible experience. I took my girlfriend to get a no-chip and practically had to instruct her rude technician on how to properly do it. I had my nails done by an even utterly ruder technician that I had to try to get to acknowledge me. They spent the whole time talking about us in Mongolian, and then had the nerve to call me 'cheap' AFTER I tipped both technicians $5. They were the single worst part of our otherwise great trip to Denver. I give my strongest warning that you do NOT waste your money here. Super clean and very friendly staff. I walked in without an appointment and was told it would be 15 minutes. It was about 15 minutes. Others walked in after me and were told it would be a 30 minute wait. I'm glad they don't just say 10 minutes, knowing full well that it will be more. I had my gel polish removed and got a regular manicure. Huge bonus is that they did not charge me to remove the gel, as many places do. So though it took longer than I regular manicure, I was only charged $15. The manicurist was meticulous with cleaning my cuticles though she did cut 2 of my fingers. She apologized profusely and put antiseptic on it and it was fine. The polish application was good but a little thick. I managed to keep them perfect for 4 hours and then got fingerprints in them. What is it with the polish staying soft for HOURS?? I'll probably be back here but likely just for manicures. read more

I stopped in today to get my nails did real quick and left feeling totally happy. The ladies here do an impeccable job on pedicures and manicures. The calf massages during the pedicure are awesome! The prices are moderate and worth the price of service, but would not be considered exorbitant. While the women who work here may not speak English as a first language, they do a fantastic job and really communicate well with their customers. read more

My girlfriend and I bought a Travelzoo deal and upgraded to the shellac version. We were able to make an appointment for the weekend. I arrived early and they took me right away. The technician working on my nails didn't say much, but I was chatting away with my friend, so it didn't bother me. I got a nice hot stone massage on my legs with my pedicure looks great. The shellac looks really good, too, and she did a great job shaping my nails (that seems to be difficult for so many nail salons these days). Came in and asked how long for a simple manicure because I had work in 40 mins. Lady said 5 minutes, took over 10. As she's doing my nails, someone else comes in (regulars I assume) and she stops doing me to work on them! She even had the nerve to come by and not even sit down at my station, but walk by and bend over real quick to clip one nail and then go on back to the regulars... Thankfully after some time another woman started to work on my nails... which were neglected and wrapped in foil/cotton soaked in acetone, starting to irritate my skin badly. I just wanted a basic manicure, no fake nail or anything, just a shade of color. It wasn't as smooth as usual, she rushed. Had a lot of those annoying air lumps/ripples. No drying fans or anything like that either. Sucks because I got the $5 extra "stays on for 2 weeks" nail polish shade. Who cares if it's going to stay... some of my nails have that weird texture, it's so irritating (edit: THAT NAIL POLISH DOES NOT WORK IT CHIPPED IN LESS THAN A WEEK :p) but they do have a decent amount of nail polish shades so there's that... oh I also got a wax and it was really good, she did it quickly in just a few strokes and removed all the hair. read more
