Came here when I was looking to get my nails done. Amazing work by the nail tech she knows what she's doing. The quality of the work lasts long when I got my nails done not one nail fell off within a month. Very welcoming great vibe and good prices. Love it Will be going back. It got a lot of compliments! My second visit was a little last minute after a GELX nail popped off! Dayana squeezed me in last minute and I went to her studio in Boyle Heights. She made sure I had access and a parking spot - so thoughtful! And a bottle of water for me (far beyond any salon I've been to)! The result was a gorgeous, modern twist in a French tip! Yay! A few other fun details: appointments are made through Instagram so give her a follow. Dayana is freelance and therefore, more affordable than your average salon.She's thoughtful, friendly & has great people skills - you'll feel at ease. I love her style! Walking into Onyx completely changed my expectations. Tyn is truly one of a kind. Where do I even begin? He treats every client with genuine respect and gives 110% every single appointment. That says a lot about the kind of person and professional he is. He's also a perfectionist in the best way possible. He constantly checks in throughout the appointment, asking if you love your nails. If something isn't exactly how you envisioned it, he'll gladly fix it until you're completely happy. He truly stands behind his work. A few months ago, I injured my hands and thought my natural nails were beyond saving. Tyn suggested switching to builder gel and simply told me, "Trust the process." I'm so glad I listened. Three months later, my natural nails are healthier and stronger than they've ever been. I used to be one of those "every two weeks" girls, but he always laughs and tells me, "Come on, I love you, but two weeks is too soon!" That's just how well his work holds up. The salon itself is always spotless, welcoming, and relaxing.
