Most of their service is horriblee especially when it comes to pedicures. They overcharge for every little thing. I got an infection on my toes on 2 separate occasions, they do not sanitize their tools properly. The first pedicure they did on me the lady was hurting me and I left with my toes hurting that day and they began to bleed and get red and swollen by the end of the day. The pain and swelling on my toes lasted a few days so I ended up going to the doctors who said I got an infection. I wasn't sure at first if it was because the lady was harsh on my cuticle or because of the tool so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went again a second time for a pedicure. Second time around I got a different lady who was super gentle but the next day one of my toes was red and swollen as well, turned out to be another infection. They do not sanitize their tools properly, be aware. read more

Very Disappointing Experience . Would Not Recommend I had a terrible experience here. The technician was extremely rough, harshly removing skin from my toes and even causing them to bleed. Hygiene was a major concern the tools did not appear to be properly sanitized and seemed to be reused between customers without proper cleaning. The shape was almond and he completely changed the shape and left them incredibly crooked. I asked if he could trim the size and he said no. I came in with a French tip and I chose to go with a solid color to make it easier. It looks like my child painted my nails it's so uneven and bumpy. went in for a nail removal, which was really quick! just how i like it! then I got myself a full set acrylic short almond nail, which did not take long. The lady who attended me was very nice and made sure that the design and the shape of the nail was how I wanted it to be. I will say I'm a little iffy with the design cause it's very different than what im used to but it still came out cute regardless I would definitely recommend for something simple here and I would definitely return :) read more

I went in to take off my acrylics so I went to whatever shop i found on Google since it was something i believed would be simple . My first mistake was not checking the reviews before going in! She began to remove my nails and she was already being rough and trying to yank them off . I asked her to soak off since it would maybe hurt less and cause less damage to my nails . I could tell she was frustrated but still did what I asked and used cold acetone instead of warm like other places usually do to help speed the process. I didn't want to complain anymore since i could feel her frustration. Once she finished she asked if I would also like a manicure , I told her sure why not no color just manicure . The worker then grabbed a bottle and SPRAYED my nails, "filed" and cut down and said all done . I then said ok and was waiting for my pedicure to finish( which I can't complain the lady was nice) I then thought about it and decided to speak up when she brought me the check and said $10 for manicure . It's not about the money All about the customer service ! then after I told her this is not a manicure you didn't even push my cuticles back or clean up the sides she went to grab a bowl to do a manicure the right way and I told her no I don't want it anymore my pedicure is now done just don't charge me please. she then GRABBED MY HAND TRYING TO FORCE MY HAND INTO THE BOWL . I then used my left hand to move her hand off me and told her "no stop I don't want it anymore " and she let go and was upset about it . I spoke to the girl doing acrylic in the first desk by the cashier when I went to pay . She asked if everything was ok and I asked "when a manicure is done does it include cuticle push back complete file and clean up ? the girl in the desk then replied yes , I then told her she didn't do any of that which is why I didn't think it was fair to charge me she then replied yes it's OK we won't charge you the $10 in the moment I was in shock and disbelief of what had happened I couldn't believe the lady that had assisted me was so rude and even GRABBED my ARM TRYING TO FORCE IT IN THE BOWL! Many times people have scammed my sister because she does not know much which is why I stayed beside her to make sure the job was good. Horrible job. Mani + Pedi took 15 minutes. Not enough time to do a good job. Manicure was awful. I had to keep pointing out parts of my nails that had to be cleaned - excess cuticles left, crooked nail filing, etc. She didn't even moisturize my cuticles with a cuticle oil and my hands were dry when she was done. She sprayed alcohol up to my arms for a "massage". It burned. The towel she used was dirty because it had dried nail polish on it which left a scratch on my arm when she used it to dry the alcohol off. The clear coat at the end wasn't even done right. She didn't cover the entire nail so now the manicure looks patchy. Pedicure was even worse. She kept pulling my feet all over the place which was uncomfortable and dangerous for nail tech working on my hands. She cut my nails waaaaaay too deep on the sides of my nail beds and days later my toes still hurt when I walk. She cut off pieces of nail that are part of my nail bed. Now it's just painful and damaged. She sprayed alcohol all over my feet from a distance and even sprayed my jeans. I kept telling her she was hurting me and she just carried on like nothing. I don't recommend this place at all. My partner and I received a pedicure at this location and we both got ingrown nails. We went back to give them another chance but we got another ingrown nail and this time it sent me to the ER almost lost my foot. This place really messed me up to the point I will no longer trust anyone with my toes. Not to mention they don't sanitize their equipment. As soon as they're done with one person they move on to the next without sanitizing their tools. They also try to scam by adding services and when you ask about the price they are rude. They say they will massage you for 10min if you pay the service but they don't give a massage they just apply the lotion on your legs and move on. Onto manicures, I took my daughter to get her nails done and I told them gel and an hour later her paint was falling off. My experience on Gel manicure and pedicure was really good, the best one so far in any Maywood nail salon. It's totally sanitary, none of those recirculating tubs that can trap germs. I had my gel manicure still on my nails from my last visit and they started to remove the polish but were very rude about it and were hurting me since they were filing the gel off and were not considering that they were scraping my skin as well. Another person came in and my manicurist who was doing my nails left to attend the other person. I waited 5 minutes before someone else came to attend me. I showed them a reference photo of what I wanted and they said no. The best they can do is one solid color. I was like yeah, no. Is there anyone who can do it? Waited another 5 minutes before a sweet old lady came to assist me. She was super patient and fixed up my nails nicely. I wish I would have gotten her name because she made my experience a better one.
