It got a lot of compliments! My second visit was a little last minute after a GELX nail popped off! Dayana squeezed me in last minute and I went to her studio in Boyle Heights. She made sure I had access and a parking spot - so thoughtful! And a bottle of water for me (far beyond any salon I've been to)! The result was a gorgeous, modern twist in a French tip! Yay! During my pedicure, the technician drilled one of my toenails a little too hard. I felt a sting at the time but didn't think much of it. About two weeks later, that entire toenail ended up falling off. This has never happened to me before, so unfortunately, my first visit will also be my last. I also wasn't completely satisfied with my manicure. The hard gel didn't fully cover my nails, and the overall service felt a little rushed. The nail technicians also didn't come across as very friendly or welcoming. I think there is definitely room for improvement, especially when it comes to technique, attention to detail, and customer service.
