You really have to be particular with who you get services from here. I have just walked in for things as simple as a pedicure or SMS manicure and needed to return back to get things touched up. Either the polish doesn't cover the entire nail and looks like it's bubbling or just the attention to detail can lack. I came in with a very clear inspo picture--long, sleek, almond-shaped nails with a soft pink look--and somehow walked out with something that looks like the complete opposite. First of all, the length is nowhere near what I asked for. I specifically wanted long nails, and instead I got these short, stubby things that honestly look like little knobs on my fingers. And somehow they still had the nerve to charge me for a long set?? Make that make sense. The shape is also completely off. I asked for a clean almond shape, and what I got is uneven, bulky, and just... awkward. They don't taper nicely at all, and from certain angles they look thick and clunky instead of elegant. And let's talk about the finish. I specifically said I did NOT want chrome because it was an extra $15 and this set was already expensive enough. Yet somehow the final look still isn't even close to my inspo--it's flat, uneven, and just looks rushed with zero attention to detail. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this was honestly such a disappointment--especially for the price. I feel like I paid premium prices for something that looks like it was done in a hurry. Save your money and go somewhere that actually listens to what you ask for. Because this? I went tonight to get a regular manicure and a powder manicure. Lol I showed a picture of what I want it on my nails. As I usually do- from here it goes downhill - I'm going to start with being accused of being "confused" about what I wanted puts a bad taste in my mouth. Never once has anyone told me what my nail color was. If it is pink and white, I had no idea. But never in ability to pay for a service have I've been told confused by company especially a "manager" of that business. Secondly, that same manager who tried to fix it, which I'm appreciative for, TOLD me what color would work had an a attitude when I told her several times she did great it's just not what I wanted. ( after having the gentleman originally doing my nails move and she took over) - mind you, I showed everyone the picture. The same picture that's in my last Yelp about this place. Which was GREAT! I don't like being accused of something that didn't happen. I will be going tomorrow. Hopefully have my nails done for the last time. By the young lady who did my nails beautifully the last two times. Her name is Ivy! She's amazing! And she's fast. I am also a manager of a multimillion $ company where I listen to my clients. The space is very clean, modern, and huge. It really looks fabulous. They seem to always have availability for walk-ins which is great. The nail techs are at very different skill levels. The last time I came for a dip manicure, my tech had to be instructed on how to do it. I paid full price for an amateur when I could have been serviced by someone more experienced. She wasn't able to shape my nails symmetrically and they chipped excessively. During another visit, I was happy with the manicure but the pedicure was kind of embarrassing, my tech made me feel insecure about my feet and rather than massaging my calves, he carelessly rubbed my shins (ouch!). I was praying for it to end. The gel did not last as long as it should have. I would say the prices here are relatively affordable. read more

BEWARE!!! Nails 2k is an absolute nightmare. I regret ever stepping foot in this place. First off, the technician was completely careless and cut my cuticles so badly I was BLEEDING. No apology, no concern -- just kept going like nothing happened. She used dirty, unsterilized tools that she pulled out of drawer and now I'm dealing with a painful infection because of it. My nails looked horrible, they were uneven and thick and lumpy and the blood from where I was cut was polished over with gel and now I have blood stained nail polish around my cuticles. The place is filthy. I saw ROACHES crawling near the pedicure chairs, and the stations looked like they hadn't been cleaned in days. It's honestly disgusting and a total health hazard. To top it all off, they charged me more than what was listed -- no explanation, just made-up prices on the spot. Completely unprofessional and sketchy. Avoid Nails 2k at all costs. Unsafe, unsanitary, and downright disrespectful. I wouldn't go back if they paid me. read more

Extremely poor service! The nail tech who completed my gel polish change was aggressive and rude. I'm walking away with cut and bloody toes! She aggressively handled her tools and ripped away the nail separators. she used the buffer drill to remove my existing gel polish and buff my toes. She put the drill too close to the edges of my nails and cut my skin In multiple places on multiple toes! Then she aggressively used the heat lamp to set the gel. She literally got frustrated because she kept having to add coats due to my nails bumping the inside of the lamp and messing up the polish because she was speeding through the service. she asked me 3 times if I wanted a pedicure and she should've respected when I said no the first time. Once it was clear I wasn't going to spend, she rushed and aggressively did the service. The job was sub par. They are a place that will mistreat you if you don't spend a lot of money! Even after the poor service, I left a tip and the lady didn't even have the decency to say anything. She saw it was a small tip snatched the receipt and didn't say anything so I left the salon because I had somewhere to go right after. The store is pretty and they have plenty of nail techs but manager runs the shop place like a sweat shop pushing the techs to go faster and handle more clients regardless of quality of the job they do. Went in without an appointment so I don't mind waiting but then he started pushing other people through before me that came after me because they said "they're in a hurry" I waited over a half an hour and finally just walked out after the 3rd person they put through before me. I have to first say, that each time we go to get a manicure, it is done as we have asked. My problem is when it comes to the pricing. Each time, we go for the dip nails, the price changes every single time. There is no pricing displayed for customers to see and if there is going to be an up charge, it should be stated at that time, not when you are checking out to pay. I know for different shapes, designs, the tech takes more time, etc. $50 to just put on the nails, another $15 to add white tips, $5-$10 to shape and another $20 to add designs ( two fingersnails only). I have asked for pricing in the past, I should have asked this time but the last service was almost identical and was charged $70 and this time it was $90. Review point is recommending to ask for pricing first before you start your service so you are not surprised when you go to pay. read more

Please read before you come to this salon: I do not recommend coming to this salon. I came in to get some nails for my 25th birthday I was so excited because I hardly ever splurge on nails. When my service was finished I was very happy with the way they looked. How the nails look though, means nothing when they break after 5 days of wearing. I did no physical activity, didn't hit them on anything, they just broke. I live 30 minutes away from the salon and work full time, NO ONE, has time to be coming into the salon less than A WEEK after they got their nails done. I went into the salon and showed them my nails and asked for a soak off. When I sat down the tech did that thing where she tried to take a cut nail and use it to rip off all the other nails. Sometimes it is hard to speak up in the salon but I said please no I would like a soak off. Ripping off nails is SO bad for your natural nail! Since I paid 90 dollars for these basic gel nails including tip, I asked if I could get even a partial refund, anything, because I've had them on for a week and they broke right after I got them. The manager said the best they could do was a 30 dollar gift card. Since I don't plan on returning, this was extremely disappointing. I didn't want them to do anything else because I can't keep driving 30 minutes to the salon every time one of my nails chips or breaks. This is the second time I've had a problem here and I can't risk it. With infections, fungus, disease in nail salons that do not have proper company policies and don't use new tools on each customer, becoming more and more prevalent. I think it's time for me to look into doing my nails on my own. Such a bummer. This is how my nails looked when I left. So disappointing. read more

I had an ok experience the first time I was here..the tech wasn't great and she didn't speak a word to me but my nails looked ok. I went this time and needed a hard gel fill and the tech was extremely rushed. She wasn't exactly friendly and my nails look just awful. You can see how uneven the polish is and I realized how unclean the edges were and how uneven the polish was when I got home. I will say that my pedicure was fantastic though and toenails look great.
