Amanda is amazing!!! She is genuinely the sweetest lady ever, I got an amazing facial. She was very professional and careful, asked me if everything was okay and if the extractions hurt. She also gave me a manicure and her husband who also owns the shop with her did my pedicure. I got my acrylics filled and a pedicure from the "manager" of the salon. The manager had a horrible attitude the entire time! My mother was also getting a pedicure but it was done by the managers husband. Her pedicure was amazing and the managers husband is amazing at pedicures! However during mine the manager kept interrupting My nails were the complete opposite of the design I asked for! I'll have to start by saying that this was my wedding weekend, so emotions were pretty high and I was desperate. I was looking for a polish change on my toes and a shear shellac on my fingers last minute. Everything in Sedona was booked, so I went to the nearest town if Cottonwood and searched for a place here in Yelp. Read the reviews, and I was skeptical with the reviews posted, and I SHOULD'VE KNOWN BETTER, but it's just a polish change and shear shellac, no big deal, right? WRONG WRONG WRONG!! I was the only one there with one employee (started feeling like I should've left then), and the lady (possibly the owner?) wasn't welcoming at all. I chose a color for my toes and a shear for my fingers. She proceeded to remove the previous shellac (foil with cottonballs), and then I just waited to see what would happen. While getting my pedi, I felt a snip on my pinkie toe, and had her stop so I could look at it, it seemed fine (no blood at the moment) then I chose to let her proceed. Long story short, the pedi was awful and the polish job itself was HOOOORRIBLE!! I mean really really bad here people(20+years of getting pedis and this was the worse!). I'm seriously not lying when I say that my 2 yr old niece could've done better. She then proceeds to ask if I'm ready for my manicure, I just said, "No, I'm not! This is for my wedding and this isn't at all professional. Please take this off my toes." She then proceeded to huff and slush remover all over my feet. I started to take off the foils from my fingers myself. I was devastated. SHE STILL CHARGED ME $40!!!!!! I LEFT CRYING!! My point here is this ladies and gentlemen, Yelp exists for a reason, to research services rendered before purchase. Do not do what I did and hope for a easy Mani/pedi before your wedding day, and DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT get services from this facility!!! And as for the salon itself, word of advice, if a customer walks in and mentions "WEDDING manicure/pedicure" and isn't satisfied with your work, maybe you should find a way to resolve the situation instead of making matters worse, and not charge them for complete garbage. read more

Rushed the whole process ruined experience nails didn't last very long gayest shit I've ever seen.

On a short vacation and thought I'd drop into this spot for a gel set. Worse decision I made in 2017. Cost $40 and my nails look horrible. Wanted to rip them off my hands right away. The one "technician" on shift was nice but decided to take on three customers. Two nails aren't even on straight; the gel is lumpy; the gel also runs onto my skin. I'm not a person who splurges on nails often so I'm not sure what the standard is but I guarantee Nails 4 U doesn't even meet the lowest standard. Nails 4 U in Cottonwood Az is a horrible nail salon. I have been in couple times to ask about a fill or a full set. The first time the man was very polite however the woman had a really bad attitude and I did not feel welcome. The other time I only saw the woman She was very rude and acted like she did not care if I was there or not. The first time there I left because of the woman's attitude, the second time I came back thinking maybe I was being to harsh so I would give them another chance......nope same thing. Needless to say I will not be returning. Also other people that I have spoke to about their nails said they lifted and was in general sloppy work. Getting 1 star because the pedicure was 5+ but the maincure, well, it left much to be desired -5 stars. Rough, rushed and rude. Drew blood twice and then 4 days later had to go back to get all the little hang nails and pieces of skin trimmed off. When I went back, there was 1 other customer and two staff in the shop, but I was kept waiting while 1 completed waxing eyebrows before repairing the damage to my hands and the other wandered. The pedicure was great but the manicure was by far the worst ever. Agree that the pedicure is excellent but the manicure is not so good. Didn't get all the gel/acrylic stuff off before polishing and filed nails crooked/lopsided. Can't remember a more unsatisfactory manicure. read more

This is the calmest, friendliest nail spa that I've ever experienced. Amanda is very kind and skilled, and a wonderful, calm person too! Her husband/assistant is also very nice and interesting to talk to. You'll find no high pressure or bait & switch tactics here (as at another local nail spa). You get what you ask for, and much better than you expected. This will be my nail place as long as I have fingers and toes!!! read more

Was very disappointed with quality of work. Amanda has great things written about her on yelp so I went in thinking she would actually take her time and do my acrylics in detail. That was not the case as I was rushed and had to point things out to her on the parts of my nails. The previous color is still visible on my now french tip nails..I had an appointment but had to wait ten minutes upon arrival. She stopped and answered the phone several times during my appointment, and to top it off She wanted me to pay before the work was done in the nail chair so she could go to her next appointment.. I don't think she knows how to schedule her appointments accordingly and she just wants all the money she can get ... I would not tell anyone to go here. I'm sure there's other spas in cottonwood that actually value your business.. read more

I took my girlfriend there as a treat. The shop is clean, well kept and you don't pass out from the fumes when you walk in the door. The equipment is nice, the prices are very reasonable and she did good work. The reason for only 3 stars is because the lady running the place didn't end her personal phone call when we walked in the door and she has the people skills and personality of a frozen rock. read more

Awful! Yes as the previous reviewer said the massage part of the pedicure is good - but the good news stops there. I had to ask her to fix one toe as she didn't put the polish on properly - there was a blank spot. The gel manicure was DREADFUL. My nails are lumpy, not filed, and like my toes there is polish all over my skin. One of my nails is missing a piece - she cut it with the clippers, took too much off one side and didn't file it, another file has a jagged corner.... My hands are a mess. What an awful waste of time and money. read more

Came in for a full acrylic set.. TERRIBLE! They began lifting the next day, poorly shaped and too thick. I do know they give good pedicures here, but skip the artificial nails. I had to get them fixed two days later at another salon. read more

I was quoted 25 for a pedicure and 35 for a gel pedicure, which is not what I ended up getting charged for, the price was increased by 10 dollars. The tech spent an hour cutting at my toes (I get pedicures regularly, this has never been done, it wasn't needed, it hurt, and left my toes looking terrible). Then he paint was put all over my toes, cuticles, and skin. When I asked for it to be fixed I was told I did it not them. I'm leaving with paint everywhere and smudges from the toe separators. Worst pedicure I've ever got!! I wish I could submit a picture to prove it! I'm going straight home and taking off the polish and trying to fix the skin around my poor butchered toes. To be fair the tech was pleasant before the polish came along. I would not recommend. read more
