Very rude service. Place was completely empty and I still got crappy rushed service. The nail tech laughed at my home pedicure and called over the owner to talk bad in their language. It was very obvious. Then she rushed through a 20 min pedicure which consisted of quick soak and basically a nail polish change. She did a less than mediocre job. When I tried to point out concerns, the tech pretended not to speak English (mind you she was speaking English earlier to me). Then the lady owner jumped in saying that they never spend more than 20-30 mins on pedicures. It seems this nail salon only cares about their bottom line, $$$, and not the quality of their work or customer service. Worst pedicure ever, if you could even call it that. The staff was kind and the salon was clean, but my gel manicures chipped within just a few days both times. I'm experienced with gel polish, and it usually lasts two weeks for me elsewhere. During the first removal, the polish was pulled off, which left the face of my nails damaged. At another salon, they used a gentle product that lifted the gel easily without causing any harm. I only review to commend excellent service OR save others from horrible experience. This is the latter. My friend and I were in Sedona for a retreat and were referred to Cindy's as they were open on a Sunday (the one star is for that)! We wanted simple manicures and called to see if they could get us in. Cindy was friendly over the phone, said, "Sure, come right now!" So we did! We both have fairly short, natural nails and both got our worst manicure service ever! The salon was not clean, should've been our first clue! We went ahead and had to ASK to clean under the nails, polish was applied quickly and sloppily, both of us got cuts on our cuticles (mine bled later!), and there was zero friendliness. I don't recommend, unless you're totally desperate on a Sunday, and cuticles beware! (To be fair, I do have thin, dry cuticles even when I'm not in the desert doing art and yoga and washing my hands more than usual, but I told her I didn't want them cut.) read more

This is the worst set of nails I have ever gotten. The acrylic is so bumpy and distorted and just looks ridiculous. I asked for square French tips with a pink color I picked out and they used a piece of pinched scotch tape as a stencil! The lines are extremely uneven and just look awful, and they did not bother to fix them even a little. They did not trim my cuticles or clean up my nails whatsoever before applying the acrylics. I went today with a friend and they had the same low quality experience. When I was paying for my nails the woman who painted my nails (who is also the owner!) was making very rude comments about my eyebrows and being very passive aggressive when I declined her offer to book another appointment for 2 weeks in advance. 0/10 do not recommend this place whatsoever. read more

After riding by the sign on the side of the street for weeks, I popped in to inquire about their services. The place was empty with the exception of ONE woman that was paying and heading out. As he was ringing her up he asked what services I wanted. I replied that I wanted to make an appointment but to please finish assisting the client. I'll wait. Within a minute she had left. I then asked of their rates and asked if he has any availability Thursday. Mind you, this is on a Monday. He begins to flip through an EMPTY scheduling book that's in clear view and says no, I don't have availability Thursday. Friday? He flips two more empty pages. No. I chuckled and asked what days does he have available. This guy says "I don't have anything until next month." It's literally the 2nd of the month. Pblahahahaha! DONT GO I've gone to this place twice before with friends and each time the nails are bumpy and done sloppily. it's a good price but at the cost of quality. they can't even do French tip acrylics without them being bumpy and the tip is uneven and ugly. The place itself isn't the most organized and it's a little dirty but nothing horrible, still wouldn't advise going. I just got my nails done today and I feel like they're going to fall off and they're so incredibly bumpy I don't want anyone to see them. they also never even cleaned up the nail and cuticle before applying the acrylic which is a basic service that should be included for the price! please don't go if you want decent quality nails! read more

Poor Quality Manicure. I have been to this salon two times. The first time the man did my nails and it was great. This time the lady Cindy did my nails and it is not so great. She tore my real nails taking off the polish and the gel polish is applied unevenly and one of the nails has a big air bubble. Lots of polish left on the skin around the nails. I really wanted to believe the 5 star reviews here, but it was just ok! Cindy was very welcoming and sweet, however the salon really is dirty. I thought how bad could it be?! But there are empty canisters, dust buildup, little bits that could easily be cleaned up. They didn't seem busy, I just wish they'd clean while they were slow! My acrylic nails turned out pretty good, i reshaped them a bit when I got home (some were a little crooked & longer than others). She didn't use a base coat for my gel pedicure, I thought that was strange. I hope my gel polish lasts! I paid $105 for removal, full acrylic set, and gel pedicure. read more

I called asking if they have time for a walk-in appointment cause I couldn't get in to my normal salon and they said yes so I'm thinking "great that's awesome". I get there and I sit for a long while waiting to be serviced and it was not busy at all. I asked for a specific set of nails and they guy said okay, and got started. Throughout the entire service there was no talking, it felt awkward, I was never asked my opinion on the nails, and he went in a completely different direction of what I asked originally. The nails are crooked and some are thicker than others. Overall I was not pleased with how my nails came out and I'm honestly in shock for how much they charged me. Kathy aka Cindy was wonderful. I had went to another nail salon to get a new set of acrylics for the first time in cottonwood (never had acrylics before but I did a lot of research beforehand so I knew what I wanted) and they were okay. too bulky and she didn't listen to the shape I wanted and I felt rushed so I went to Cindy's. She fixed it and made it look beautiful and more natural, not just thick blobs on my fingers. The design was also perfect. I showed her a picture of the design I wanted and she helped me pick out colors to go well together (and that would be work approved since they wanted "natural" colors - this is as good as my boss is gonna get from me lol) She was very friendly and kind. Talked to me the whole time and really paid attention to what I wanted. Granted one of my gems fell out the next day but she fit me in and fixed it. Great customer service and quality nails. I went here with my Mom & Grandma. We drove from Sedona. The prices ar more reasonable here. Huge selection of nail polishes to choose from. As well as services. I chose to have the Spa pedicure. The chair I was sat in the controller didn't work to do any massage at all. That was disappointing. But not enough to ruin the pedicure. I chose to have nail art put on my thumb toes ( Easter theme ) Easter lily. Here I am now 05/23/15 and the polish or art still hasn't chipped off or away. So to me a better quality of nail polish and top coat. The Nail art wasn't that great but it was ok NOT BAD FOR A GUY doing it. Would I go back? Yes... Because they were Respectful to my Grandma she had a manicure and pedicure and her chair worked fine ( massage and all ) Her nails came out lovely and only smudged because she smudge them her self. The staff was pleasant. They talk to you instead of each other. While I was there one of there regulars left and they wished her a Happy Easter and set up her next appt for 3 weeks. Don't waste your time or money. I had called ahead for an appointment and to ask how much it would be to do my nails. Irregardless of having an appointment I still waited for an additional 30 minutes. Once I sat down for my nails to be done, Cindy did not even give me the full attention as she was tending to other clients getting pedicures at the same time. After my acrylics were soaked off she immediately began applying new acrylic without even having me wash my hands. I asked her if she was going to tend to the cuticles and she said yes at the end which she never did. Overpriced, gave me wrong color and glitter I didn't want and was up-charged for. They do not sanitize anything and use the same brushes and stuff on the same person to include the acetone once it was applied to my nails, it burned and burned I ask him to stop but he wouldn't and forced me to finish my nails. It's been two hours and are still burning. I was in tears and they just told me it happens. No! Pros: Went in for a pedicure. We had scheduled appointments for two adults and two kids and they accommodated all of us. The polish selection was nice and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The pedicurist successfully removed a lot of rough skin from my feet and they felt brand new Cons: the massage chair was way too rough. I had to turn it off. I went in for a gel pedicure. As the woman was putting the gel base coat on, she got to my 2nd toe, shook the bottle then said something in her native language to the other employees. Then a man got up from his pedicure, took the empty bottle and threw it away. So I have base coat on 2 toes and the woman opens the polish and begins to polish my toes. I asked if they ran out of gel she tells me "you dont need". Really??? I have had 100 gel pedicures but ok let's just say maybe they have some new gel polish that doesnt need a base to bond to. After drying the polish under the light, evidently I'm done...no base coat, no top coat...so when I go to check out the owner (Cindy) leaves her nail station to ring me up. She tells me "for you I do $35". I told her I have never in my life had a gel pedicure where they didnt use at least a top coat. She responded with "you dont need". That was at 11:45 yesterday. I woke up to this...my little toes polish has fallen off...because there was no base coat to bond it to!!! I'm furious! I am a licensed cosmetologist.
