Initially, I encountered an inconvenience when the online reservation system assigned me to an employee who was either on vacation or unavailable upon my arrival. I chose to overlook this. As I settled into my chair for the pedicure, I decided to indulge in a more luxurious treatment--something I rarely do. Just as I was becoming comfortable, another technician approached to commence my manicure simultaneously. This caused a disruption, as I was unable to utilize the chair's features and had to awkwardly hold both arms to the left to accommodate her work. The experience was chaotic and distressing. The use of the dremel tool was particularly painful while grinding the cuticles, rendering the session quite miserable. Later that evening, I completed a survey provided by the owner, Nini, who apologized and offered a discount for a future appointment. By Saturday evening, one of the builder gel nails had already detached, despite being told they would last three to four weeks. I sent a photograph to Nini, who again merely apologized and extended a discount on my next service. Due to time constraints with my flight, I was unable to return for a repair and resorted to painting over that nail myself. By Sunday, another nail had fallen off, and I inquired about a refund. The response was, "No refund, it's the policy." On Tuesday, a third nail detached, clearly indicating that something was amiss in the application process. Nini's policy states that they will only repair issues within five days, with no refunds offered. I can confidently say I will never again patronize this establishment. I know of another individual who visited Natural Nails and was charged $90 for a builder gel set, with prices varying each visit--sometimes increasing with discounts. My initial set cost $65. She, too, has ceased visiting this salon. Having worked diligently for my earnings, I refuse to support businesses that do not operate with honesty and integrity.

I've actually been someone who would frequent minty nails, but after this experience I'll never go back. The nail techs name was yen. For my pedicure, it took about an hour and 45min and I only booked the herbal pedicure. The water was freezing cold, the tech would just leave me and do other things, skipped exfoliation till after painting my gel nails. Told her after how long it took I didn't have time for my pedicure that I don't have the time to get a manicure. She assured me and said she can do it in 25min, I then agreed if she can do it that quickly then ok. I regret that decision now. They couldn't find the color I wanted, totally fine and said I can find another color. But she was yelling at the host to find the color and it was really uncomfortable as the host was saying multiple times they couldn't find it. She gets to prepping my nails, and used the nail file so quick and hit 8 nail beds causing them the bleed, red and/or be extremely sensitive the next day. Got the gel nail polish on some of my skin, she cut too deep with the clippers, and there is like dry and scabbed skin around my nail beds now. She asked me why I was needing to leave so quickly and I told her I had errands and things to do after. She then made a comment saying, "you walk a lot?" And then laughed at me. Then got to payment and I was so fed up I only gave her 15% of a tip because I believe people should be tipped for a service. She then complained and said "ugh, only $20", then gave me a dirty look. I would post a picture, but it won't allow me too. The vibe was rude, unsettling and fat-phobic.
