If I could leave less than 1 star I would.., literally the worst nail salon ever. I went in for a refill with design and he insisted I get a new set after I told him no I don't have much time. He worked on my nails for 2+ hours and couldn't do the design I asked him to do. Before even doing my nails I made sure to ask if he know how to do it and he said yes. As he's doing my nails he erased the design over 5 times and even cut me a few times (accidentally). After 2 hours I told him to let someone else do my nails. And he took off all my nails!!! He said I needed to wait some time so someone else can do it but I was already there long enough and needed to go. I shouldn't have to be at the salon for 3 hours just for a fill. At the end, I told him I didn't wanna wait so I'm not going to paint them at all to just put the clear. He still left some green paint on my nails and read more

although this place looks like it has a lot of potential and that is the only reason i am considering going back, luna does not have the best customer service/work. i asked for a regular pedicure and i received two coats of nail polish and no top coat so now my nail polish on my feet has holes. i originally asked her for a milky white and she insisted that she didn't have one and i believed her till i overheard another nail tech and client talking about a milky white. i specifically asked for square for my hands and feet and got square feet and round hands!!! not to mention, the nail polish that ended up on the cuticles she used her nails to scratch off which after a while started to hurt because she would continue to put more and more pressure and then cut me a couple times. i came to the salon with my hands already filed and shaped square so there was no need for her to completely change the shape. i told her i wanted a thin french that gets a little thick towards the side and received attitude from her bc she said that my nails were too short to do that and that she already knew. But that was the exact reason i came in with long enough nails for that to be done. I ended up with the thickest french i have ever seen. i acknowledge the language barrier so i made sure to have pictures of exactly what i wanted. she didn't ask me any questions and just assumed everything for me. i understand this is a busy salon and i can respect the money hustle. i was in and out within an hour for both hands and feet and although im sure someone else would be happy with that service it felt rushed and incomplete. i much rather someone that takes just a little more time to understand what the customer wants so there won't be a need to ask for so many changes in detail. not to mention these are my graduation nails so i am beyond sad and frustrated read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I came here to get my toes done and it was done incorrectly so I came in the next day to get a refund. $25 just for a polish change and it looked horrible started peeling the very same day I got them done; The owner refused to give me my money back stating that there is a no refund policy, They have no sign anywhere that states that they don't do refunds she continues to tell me I have two options either they redo them or I can leave. So I continued to refuse until finally she gave me my money back but said I have to take the bad review down from yelp. She only gave me back $20 she said that the other $5 was tip so she couldn't refund that. Very unprofessional and unacceptable. I will let everyone I know about this incident. I feel so bad the young girl was playing with the man coworker and she tried to paint my nails without buffing and with a color she wanted not the color I requested . Things I didn't like were that they don't offer any kind of beverage not even water. It seems a little outdated and it could be cleaner. But the staff was friendly and kind. Let me first say that they charge $10 for a gel soak off. I've never paid more than $5. All in all, I'd say it was OK. They only carry one brand of regular polish (I don't know about gel) and it's not OPI or Essie, let's just say that. The man who greeted me at the door was very rude. The lady who did my pedicure was very nice. She did a decent job. Problem is, they're charging high end prices for a decent job. There are plenty of salons in the area that charge less for the same quality of work, and there are also some that charge the same but do better work. Last thing, and I don't know if this is normal or not, but I sent a Yelp message and was told to come in right away, that they could accommodate me. But then they made me wait quite a long time...at least ten minutes in the waiting area and another 20 minutes waiting with my feet in rapidly cooling water waiting for the nail tech to finish up her current client. Why not just ask me to come in 30 minutes? I told them in the message that I could come anytime between then and their closing time. I don't know what else I could have done to avoid waiting aside from maybe making an appointment in advance...but that's why I called ahead instead of just walking in, y'know? In closing, this place is fine in a pinch, but I wasn't impressed. read more

I came in here two days ago and sat down and specifically told the woman doing my nails I can only do dip powder on my nails because I'll allergic to gel and she said they don't have dip colors which is says on the website that they do. I have been a customer since the end of last year and I'm sad to say that I will not be returning. It's getting to a point where they will have you in there for hours if they could and it's absolutely not okay. I had an appointment for twelve thirty and when I got there, he had just started with someone else, mind you, I'm on a very tight schedule, by 2pm I was still waiting and I called him earlier that day to reiterate that I had to leave before two which is why I got there at 12:30. I have been coming to this nail salon for the past two years since I've moved to Miami. I have been loyal to them but they are clearly not loyal to their loyal customers! I got my nails done a few times and everytime I go the polish always chips. My most recent time going my gel polish chipped on my big toe and my pinky toe was completely gone lol no polish within two days after going to them. I went in and asked if they can take 5$ off my service because I just wanted a brand new set instead of fixing it and I would pay for it but just accommodate me for the inconvenience from my last service. She told me no, they didn't even offer any type of accommodation for their terrible service. I repeat everytime I come here it's a chipped polish somehow and I use gel. These people are rude and not loyal to their loyal clients . I will never come here again : the Chinese girl at the front desk told me to find somewhere else to do my nails.. it's sucks receiving this treatment after spending so much money with this business this is horrible.
